I was inquiring about an '01 Acura Integra that was in relativedly questionable shape and a few accidents on its record, listed for $2,000. I called East Bay United Motors to ask if the car still ran which I thought was an innocent enough question. Immediately, the gentleman on the phone responded with hostility, asking why they would list a car that didn't run. Sorry for just being cautious, I guess? His attitude was very off-putting and I hung up the call. What I was NOT expecting was a text from the dealership's listed phone number calling me an idiot. Just wanted a car, bud. P.S. Sending me some of the car's details after the fact doesn't suddenly boast professionalism, nor does it excuse the insult.. at all.

Called to put a car aside for me to buy the next day and ended up agreeing to meet the very next day, everything was fine. About 5 hours go by U get a text saying he just went a head and sold the vehicle, though we had agreed to meet earlier that day. I missed a day of work for this, I'm thankful I'm not struggling to make ends meet but this could've hurt some peoples pockets who are are struggling. Very unprofessional, it was saddening.

I bought my Honda Accord from Omar. He is very responsible and nice. The car is super nice and clean. Even though it is a used car, my friends thought it looked like a new car. And they all thought I got a REALLY REALLY good deal, after they tried my car. I am not familiar with the buying/transferring process. Omar answered all my questions and did the process with me so that I would not miss any part of it!!!

Horrible customer service. Omar, the dealer is beyond disrespectful and rude. When I call he has attitudes and he cussed and yelled at me. He is so unprofessional. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS.

I had a good experience with East Bay. I found their 2014 Toyota Tacoma on the OfferUp app at a decent price. I checked it and test drove it, and didn't find any issues. I was able to get it for a good reasonable price, and after several weeks of using the truck, I haven't found any hidden issues with it, so I'm happy with the service.

Thank you Omar for making my daughter's dream come true with her car purchase. From text to email Omar answered every 100 questions we had and was a straight shooter. Women we have 100 questions and 100 concerns when purchasing anything. So thank you for your patience with us. You made one college kid very happy. Looking for a straight up dude go see Omar. We told him our budget and got her that car she been searching over a month for!!!! He will make that creative deal happen!!!!!

I was excited when I saw the car that I had been looking for. I hit them up about it through CarGurus, but then decided to call them. The guy who answered was very unprofessional. He was already upset with me because I had called him early in the morning. once we were done talking he had asked me to fill out the application for the car loan. I filled it out and sent it in and got no response since then. I have the impression now that they are not serious car people. This dealership is a type to sell broken down used cars for high prices. If you're looking to buy a car here good luck. I suggest that you look somewhere else before they try to rip you off and you end up with a bad car.

I read a few reviews about bad service from this small dealership, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and inquire about a used Lexus IS350. After receiving more information about the car, I respectfully asked a simple question of if the vehicle price was negotiable at all and was told "Dude. Buy a Honda" by this representative. 1 hr later after I respectfully ignored this comment, he/she decides maybe they will take an offer. That being said, I'll happily take my cash elsewhere, regardless of what deal that they are willing to make, and I suggest the next consumer does too. Communication Quality = Service Quality 2 stars, however, because he/she was at least was able to take screenshots of the CarFax and send them to me via text message, otherwise I'd give just 1. -E

I contacted to inquire about a car through offerup. Employee admitted to not caring about the condition/issues with the vehicles brakes and got offended by me not wanting to buy a broken car. Employee then beligered my bank account despite not even knowing my budget. Very anti-professionalism, employees are solely focussed on profiting off selling broken auction cars. (Photos provided)

I bought a car from Omar Tahib in November 2017 and paid cash for the vehicle, sales tax, and DMV and transfer fees. He has taken the money and the title transfer has not been completed after more than six months. He will not return my calls to explain to me why the transfer has not occurred. I have submitted paperwork for a DMV investigation. Update: one and a half years later, many hours wasted at DMV and speaking with attorneys, and the registration is finally complete. Omar was the DMV clerk for his former employer. He refused to give me the information about the dealership going out of business, lied to me several times, and refused to return my calls. My only communication with him was when he accidentally answered his phone. He's the worst. Why would anyone trust him or any dealership he owns.

I'm so happy about the service and good recommendations from Daniel! He was super helpful, I told him the car that I want and also my price range(I don't like to wasting time, so I normally tell them ahead of time), and he is really patiently helping me! So, I finally got my car and works really good.
