Worst extended stay I have ever stayed at. So I booked a non smoking room, when I opened the door to my room it smelled like cigarette smoke so badley that it made me nausea. They changed my room, which the smell went away but then I have roaches in my Kitchen sink and bathtub. Not to mention there is supposed to be a single love seat and that was missing. All I had was a bed. I went to the front desk again to voice my concern and they said they cant do anything. They will make notes and that was it. The front desk even said I would never stay at this hotel. Which goes to show your. I ended up leaving a voice mail for the manager and no one ever called me back. DONT STAY HERE.

The hotel reeks of cigarette and weed even though it claims to be a smoke free place. The amenities are scraps that you are made to beg for every morning at the front desk. They force you to come to the front desk and walk from your building even in the rain whenever you need anything like toiletries. The heating is almost nonexistent. The blankets are starchy and paper thin. They take my money and I was put in the place farthest away from the elevator at the highest floor. Such a horrid experience.Rooms: Rooms and hallways stench of smoke. Rooms have poor AC. Poor water pressure in the rooms. Stoves are antiques with poor conduction. Blankets are thin and ragged. Showers are dilapidated. Feels so dirty and cheap but the price is not.Safety: No safety. There is no safe in the rooms. No safety assurances from the front desk. Your vehicle and your belongings are at risk and the hotel makes no assurances. No security guards employed here.

Excellent service and a nice hotel, very clean and tidy. the laundry was excellent, the girl, Scarlet, at the reception, was very friendly and helpful. I will be back soon.

The room was disgusting. Food on the walls and curtains. Broken appliances. Missing towel racks. Obvious hole patches in the bathroom door. Missing drywall next to the shower. Broken appliances in the kitchenette. This room shouldn't even have been booked.

I was most pleased with 2 of the front desk clerks Melanis and Emily and their professional courtesy I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I booked a room here for 1 week. And my stay wasn't all that pleasant. I understand that they are not trying to have so much waste, but come on. We couldn't get fresh towels. Not even energy other day. We were told that the their washing machine and dryer. In the back were broken and that we need to wash our own towels. That's fine, but their coin operated washing machine and dryer were not working either. I had to go to the laundry mat. Now for their breakfast on the go there was never anything out there except for coffee. The plumbing was awful. I complained about the water not draining in the shower and they said they'd send someone to fix it. They never came. I paid $739 dollars not to mention $100 deposit for 7 days and got no kind of luxury. At least I would have liked fresh towels every day. Instead I had to wash their towels so I could use them. The only thing good I have to say about this place is the room looked nice. That's it. I've rented here before and got good service. This was the worse service I've ever experienced. Motel 6 was better than here.

CONTRACTORS BEWARE!!!We parked our vehicle in their lot in an area we were told by an employee that had cameras and was well lit. Well we woke up to all our boxes being popped and no tools left. When we asked the desk if they could review the footage we were informed there in fact no cameras in that area, or anywhere else on the property for that matter. Feeling kind of like we were set up, but what can you do. Just be mindful of where you park, or stay some where else.Rooms weren't very good for what we paid, definatly wont be back

We had a reservation. With and email confirmation from extended stay america. We were using an American Cancer society discount. We went to the hotel at 3:30. Showed them all our email confirmation letters, etc. And they refuse to honor our reservation. We tried calling the 1800 number, and Jose, who changed his name to Diego, refused to transfer us to his manager when he was unable to help us. We tried for almost three hours to get a room. While my stage 4 husband was throwing up sick in the car needing to lay down. Staff was rude, and even though the confirmation email says guaranteed our reservation, we were sent away without a room and could not afford another in the area, so we had to drive 4 hours through traffic with my husband in agony.

Great location. Near freeway and shopping center. Besides the location there’s nothing good about this hotel, the rooms are nasty and smell really bad, the bed is awful and I can tell they don’t even clean the under mattress. I stay here for 4 days and they never clean my room, didn’t get clean towels or amenities like shampoo, they don’t have ice machines and breakfast is only coffee and some nature valley bars.Never staying here again

Booked 2 days early, had to say here for almost a week due to my apartment being upgraded. hotels close by were fully booked for what I needed so I decided to stay here. I work down the street at Washington hospital so location was nice. when I arrived no rooms available at first then called to see if the room was cleaned and ready and said it was marked as clean IT WAS NOT. There was FECES all over the toliet inside and around as well as urine, pubic hair, hair in the shower, dirty marks all over the fridge handle, and the room had not been swept. Went down to the office to change rooms, they said it would be a queen studio, it was a full bed , left over food packages from prior guest, the fire alarm was hanging off the ceiling with NAPKINS stuffed in the ceiling. Working at a hospital cleanliness is extremely important as well any establishment especially a hotel. This is extremely unacceptable. I’m very disappointed. Please either re train your staff or hire new ones. This is not okay under any circumstances.

Would not recommend or come back.Cons:Regular car break ins,broken glass in the parking spaces from car windows being smashed,homeless parties in the parking lot,drug deals in the open,hotel strongly smelling of Marijuana,no continental breakfast,Hairs in bed,Stains in bed,and the pool being closed for months are all some of the many cons of this motel.Pros:Price,Location

I have read the previous reviews and I do understand their frustrations. I have stayed here once before and there as a lady at the front desk who was less than helpful. This time I had the pleasure of having Harodh and Emily help me. They are very good at hospitality. I felt welcomed by both of these wonderful people.

If I could give no stars - I would. I booked a 2 queen bed & paid in full before my trip. On the day I was supposed to check in - I called the hotel twice to see if there's any rooms available before the 3pm check in time. They said no - I'd have to come in after 3pm because that's when the room will be cleaned and ready.I said okay, I'll give them an extra hour so that when I get there - I don't have to wait longer. I gotthere at 4pm ONLY FOR THEM TO TELL ME THEY RAN OUT OF THE 2 QUEEN BED ROOM I RESERVED & PAID IN FULL! Are you serious?! They told me they only had 1 king bed with a pull out bed & "that it was an upgrade" because it's deluxe. The other option was for them to get me to the other extended stay! This place is trash and disgusting. I had no other choice but to take the damn room they had left otherwise my family would be sleeping in our car. I wish I took more pictures of the "deluxe" room.

I write reviews when both the service and value are exceptional. I have been welcomed at five Extended-Stay-America (ESA) locations in the East San Francisco Bay, these past 15 months.The ESA Fremont-Newark location has many local tech-contractor jobs. My first hotel choice has become a nearby ESA. Because ESA rooms feel safe comfortable and peaceful. Even on a budget, Fremont has many options for shopping, dining and recreation. Additionally post-COVID, the ESA Fremont-Newark location recently reopened the family friendly pool.The five ESA locations I enjoyed these past 15 months all represent great value. Each room is a suite, meaning ESA provides the kitchen essentials; cookware, refrigerator, microwave and cooktop. Each floor has a place for trash, cleaned fresh daily.ESA is my local "home", to eat or cook dinner or lunch, watch a show, sleep in air conditioned comfort and ESA serves morning coffee. The extended-stay value includes; utilities, internet and a large video display for my laptop. I also enjoy having a laundry room with multiple washers and dryers, in the same building.I never wait for repairs or pay home insurance. It is my local "home" because my belongings are safe when I go to see my family on weekends. ( 3 hour drive each way.) My local "home" is large enough for one of my family to visit ESA Fremont-Newark for a night. Yet, the whole family and puppy could visit anytime with an extra room. Apartment-Condo rental life requires a lease, and does not offer the same value.When my contract ends and another begins. My first question will be. Where is the nearest ESA? My ESA work housing stability makes me more portable for work, vacation and a chance to pick the weather I want next.Now, I have stayed five months at the ESA Fremont-Newark "nicest" hotel. I say the ESA Fremont-Newark staff is the "nicest"! Because they provide service with a happy and cheerful smile and genuine human kindness. As a long-term guest, I am welcomed by the Managers (Grace, Gene) and Staff (Melany, Emily et al., 2023) often with a wave, a hello or when getting my front desk Amazon deliveries. I talk to other guests and they have the same ESA experience. There is a real feeling of community here.
