Great selection and reasonable prices. Not a lot of toys but plenty of electronics, houseware, and DVDs

The 1 star is for the obese Caucasian cashier with the red hair, glasses, and wobbles around because she seems to struggle walking. Such a RUDE person and never seems like she wants to be at work. Grumpy old self.

Been there 3 times now...impressed by the variety and seemingly quick turnover of goods... my girlfriend LOVES shoes so we mostly visit to hopefully find her next 3 pairs of heels...my biggest complaint is the pricing seems high...for a place thats selling DONATIONS we think that Hope is i a position to not only help the developmentally disabled, but they could also give a better break to us poorer folk....i mean deals are WHY we thrift shop.

I love thrifting and finding good quality or brand named items. This place always has gems tucked among the clothes. My cousin found a gorgeous Calvin Klein blazer and I've previously found a few brand name pieces (can't remember the name atm) that are still well and alive in my closet.Their sales are pretty awesome and you walk out paying very little for quite a lot.My last visit was short though. Some sections were not organized with sizes all over the place. Not the biggest deal as a lot of thrifting includes going through each piece anyways, but it was a bit difficult to focus on my size and I kind of got lost in the overwhelm and moved onto different sections.I still managed to find a cute all white rain coat in pristine condition for $7.99. Win!All in all, I won't fault them for the disorganization as it was a Sunday and close to closing time.Definitely recommend checking them out!

This is a hidden gem. Things are organized and most importantly clean. Great location and plenty of parking. The color discount used to be better, now they have only two color 50off for the day and 3 colors for Saturday. Staff are friendly.

I went to this thrift store by chance, I just happened to be in the fremont area and decided to check out they had little things here and there but what caught my attention was that they sold cassettes, as most thrift stores stop selling cassettes, and this store still had some.

This Hope, and all Hope's for that matter have awful prices. Even if they were half off the prices are outrageous on hard goods. Someone is obviously seeing what they go for online and matching that price. You aren't eBay or Amazon. Your return policy sucks. Stops charging so much for donated items. Gave this hope another shot after not coming for 6 months. Won't return again. Greedy.

My favorite thrift shop of all times! Impossible to leave without a great new find. I scored so many awesome items here (a bunch of silk tops, vintage jeans, brand new suede boots, books, wool sweaters, throw blankets, pet carriers and many more). My best find from this store so far is a brand new bread maker.

Rude staff, not consistent with rules of shopping and safety practices. Expect to be treated badly by everybody who works there.

Hope Thrift is my favorite thrift store in the tri-city area of Fremont/Hayward/Union City. It might not have the selection or variety of other stores in the area, but it's just so much more calming to shop here compared to somewhere like Ecothrift. Hope Thrift has a very good size selection of everything ranging from clothes to housewares to books. I usually find a few items to buy every time I come here. Picked up cool shirts, found books I wanted to read, found records that aren't just old classical fodder vinyl. The crowd here is what makes Hope Thrift my favorite though. It's the least busy thrift store for the amount of product they have. At other places, I'm basically bumping elbows with people in the aisles, which super sucks, especially in these covid times. Here it's such a breeze to shop! It's like zero annoyance factor when it comes to browsing. So if you're looking for a thrift store to check out, you can't really go wrong with Hope Thrift!
