I would strongly advise against using this tax office especially aditya for your tax needs. Their incompetence and lack of customer care made what should have been a straightforward process into a nightmare. Look elsewhere for reliable and professional tax services.

I want to share my nightmare with the rest of the public and I am still in shock since this occurred last night. I have been with H&R Block for a very long time and I didn't have any problems until last year. I always purchase peace of mind through H&R Block and I always go to the same location and see the same tax professional. I received a letter from the IRS stating that I owe money for 2022 and that I didn't report on my 1099. I emailed my tax prepare and I called her I never heard from her until January 24, 2025, via email indicating that a manager shall contact me and as of today I have not heard from any manager. I made an appointment to go and see a professional tax preparer. When I got to the facility, I was escorted by the two H&R Block employees (one was a blond Caucasian woman receptionist sitting at the front of the office). She told me that I didn't have an appointment, and when I told her that I did, that I spoke with him the night before, and that I was confirmed, she indicated that she didn't have me on her appointment book. Right away another person (an Asian man) walked up to me and indicated to leave the premises I asked why and he told me that I was a fraud and asked me if I had spoken to Jessica Hunt and Brenda before coming to the office and they called him and told him to tell me to leave their premises right now and that I am a fraud. This is not acceptable by the way I was treated. I would have given H&R Block (zero 0 stars)but unfortunately, it starts with one-star review

Avoid this place at all costs. I had a horrible experience with the worker called Aditya. He was rude in his behavior and messed up my tax return, he charged me $600 for his terrible service. I still have not received part of my tax return since 2022 tax year. They refused to help although I paid the insurance to cover any follow up with the IRS inquires. 0 stars.
I will raise this concern to higher managers in H&R block if they care.

I had the worst experience with Aditya Gupta for my tax filing last year.
He was very rude talk to us. When I asked questions or expressed doubts, he showed no interest in clarifying them. He raised his voice and rambled on, talking to us as if we were children and he was a genius. We are paying more money for this tax filing service, and it should include answering our questions and addressing our concerns. Good communication is very important for customer service, and this was not good customer service.

I've been going this H&R Block for several years now, 9/13/2024- and I live on The Peninsula!
The staff is professional and kind. I highly recommend them.

Peggy from the Mowry Office (Fremont) prepared my taxes. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. She is professional, knowledgeable and patient. I recommend her 10 out of 10!

I have gone to H&R Block for the past 8 years and never again…had an appointment with Aditya Gupta and he was way to rude saying that I didn’t upload all my documents at once even though they where all uploaded before my appointment. he treated me and my husband like we were stupid and started arguing with us about how many children we were claiming saying there was only 2 the documents showed 3 and we have 3. It was completely uncalled for amount of rudeness and we will not continue filing this year with him. Please do better we pay people to do our taxes because we have questions and shouldn’t be treated badly because we aren’t tax professionals.

Don’t file there. I had a super basic, nearly prepared small biz LLC filing. The associate thumbed through my past years‘ H&R filing for 90 minutes to figure out how to file my taxes. Then he asked two coworkers. Together they exchanged opinions. Now he’s been on a call for 30 minutes with support about seemingly technical issues. I’m still in my seat waiting as I type, going on two hours. I suggested to reschedule. Mycheal Vickers at H&R in Auburn has been absolutely fantastic. Should’ve gone back.
