Kathy is an experienced florist who goes above and beyond. She is kind and empathetic and loves her creative process with flowers. She did the flowers for my husbands funeral and they were breathtaking. Thank you so much!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I just experienced the worst possible flower ordering experience I could have imagined. I am not from Fremont, but I was searching for a local florist to have flowers delivered to my mother-in-law for her 70th birthday, which is kind of a big deal! I placed the order on 9/18 for delivery on 9/22 (her birthday). I received an email confirmation of my order on 9/18. Well 9/22 rolls around and my husband speaks to his mother multiple times that day and no flowers were delivered. Okay, this was shocking to me, but I waited until Saturday to see what was happening. I've never had flowers not delivered before. Come Saturday, the flowers still have not been delivered. At this point, I attempt to call Kathy's Floral Designs over and over again and each time I get sent straight to voicemail. I leave three voicemails. No response from anyone - no call, no email, still no flowers delivered. It was not until Sunday, two days after the flowers were supposed to be delivered, that I received a text message from Kathy saying she was out of the country in Canada and she thought she set her website up to not receive new orders and she doesn't know how my order got through but she will "look into it." Look into it? Get my flowers delivered! That's what she should have done. I called more times and I sent more texts, and I forwarded her the email confirmation I received FROM HER. No further response from her all day Sunday. Monday morning I write back to her that I need the flowers delivered because my mother-in-law is still waiting for her flower delivery! Kathy simply wrote back "Your order is voided, no flowers will be delivered." What???? Are you kidding??? Kathy did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to right her wrong. Her being out of the country and "thinking" that she paused all new orders is not my problem as the customer who innocently relied on her floral shop to do its job and deliver flowers as promised per my order! She made NO EFFORT to actually deliver the flowers, nor did she even apologize for her failures. This is simply unacceptable from anyone in any industry! When someone makes a mistake or fails to "pause their orders" properly, you should go out of your way to apologize and make it right by getting the flowers delivered immediately. Instead, she did nothing, never said sorry and never delivered the flowers. I am still in shock at how poorly this was handled. I contacted TeleFlora as well since that is the platform used on her site and was told I need to contact Kathy's Floral Design directly for a resolution. Well I did that and no resolution. Businesses like these should not be in business. I have now been forced to order flowers from another local flower shop nearly a week after my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. My mother-in-law is disappointed, and so are we. A birthday is not something that you can send flowers any old day, it's one day! And 70 was a big birthday for her. Kathy personally ruined this special surprise we planned for my mother-in-law. I could not be more disappointed in this experience. This is the EXACT OPPOSITE of customer service. Find another florist, this is not the one.

Kathy's Floral Design is no longer at this location. She has not stated that she retired and is working from her home. There is a new flower shop at 37656 Mission Blvd. Fremont, CA that sells plants, balloons and flowers at this location. It's called Chicky Blooms. Chicky Blooms has a Yelp page that is up to date and current.

Ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife on our 25th anniversary a couple of days ago and by the morning the roses were dead. The amount of roses was also about half what they advertised when I ordered them online When I emailed to file a complaint I got no response. Very poor customer service and the flowers were not good for the price I paid. I definitely caution anyone from ordering from this place.

Excellent!!! I ordered flowers for my anniversary and they were magnificent. Better than I ever imagined. such a sweet lady, great customer service. She even went out of her way to make sure my husband received his flowers by redelivering them when I made a mistake giving the delivery address, all at no extra charge! I definitely will be returning for future orders. Thanks so much Kathy!

Ordered a 'premium bouquet' for a niece's 18th birthday. Sadly, what she received was an inferior representation of what was on the company's website. I wrote back to express my dissatisfaction with the bouquet size, design, and quality, but never heard back from Kathy's Floral Design in response. Will not be patronizing this florist in the future.

I was looking for a good florist in Fremont that I could use to send arrangements to my GF as she had just started a new job in the area. I went online and selected an arrangement and opted for the 'Premium' as this was for an anniversary, and I wanted the arrangement to be extra special...cost was $114.00 with delivery. Once my GF received the arrangement she sent me a photo and to my disappointment the arrangement looked NOTHING like the photo. The photo on Kathy's website depicted 8 to 10 roses and 8 to 10 Lillies (showing on the one side of the arrangement). The arrangement received included 6 lilies + 6 long stem roses total. I called Kathy to convey my disappointment and was told that these flower arrangements are all put together like a cook book utilizing certain numbers of each type of flowers. I explained that the photo depicted twice as many (or more) of each type of flower and that the photo was VERY misleading. Kathy then recommended that my GF could drop the flowers off at her shop and she would rearrange them or she could go back to my GFs place of employment and take the flowers and return them to her shop....neither option was appealing to say the least. Kathy never once offered a refund of any kind which was quite annoying. Suffice it to say I will not be a returning customer. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!!

Kathy helped me create the most perfect gourmet gift basket and flower arrangement for my mom's birthday. I had a few special food requests for dietary needs and she truly went above and beyond! I live across the country and couldn't be there this year, but Kathy helped make my mom's birthday extra special; she even delivered it herself! After receiving pictures of the arrangements from my mom, I could see just how much care was put into the order. Everything was beautifully displayed and she got ALL of the good stuff! Most of all, it put a smile on my mom's face and made her day 😊. Thank you so very much, Kathy! I know I can count on you and your staff from now on. Very impressed with the quality and the service. 💕🌹

Placed the sympathy flower $196 and the delivery was a big difference from the online picture Never come back and wouldn't recommend to anyone. Waste your money 0 star for this business
