(Current parent leaves a message) LEP is a Chinese-English bilingual Montessori school. It runs the school based on Montessori concepts. It uses Montessori teaching aids to build children's cognition in all aspects, especially helpful for understanding abstract mathematics/scientific concepts. In addition, Montessori education also focuses on cultivating children’s curiosity, independence and expression skills. The principal has been engaged in early childhood education in different countries for many years and has been exposed to a variety of teaching models. He has rich experience and understands how to use the advantages of different teaching schools to help children grow. Moreover, the principal is very willing to listen to and accept parents' suggestions, and will make rolling adjustments to parents' requirements at any time. It is also very humane to keep pace with the times. My thoughts after my son has been studying for more than three monthsMontessori education advocates limited freedom and introduces moderate social norms, which makes a son who is cautious by nature more secure. At the same time, it cultivates his concentration and observation skills. He can play with toys or explore things on his own for a long time. The part that surprised me the most was the puzzles. Because I explored the teaching aids every day, my image and spatial cognition improved significantly. Within three months, the number of puzzles I could complete on my own increased from 6 to 40 pieces. And the daily circle time in Chinese and English makes his English songs, Chinese songs and poems catchy. The ability to interact with others has gradually matured, and communication with others is no longer timid and shy. Many daily activities, such as eating, dressing, going to the toilet, etc., can be completed by oneself. I am very happy that he has good interactions with teachers and classmates, and can learn knowledge, moral character, and social skills from play and life. He looks forward to going to school every day.Parents at the school have a very active relationship. They discuss school affairs or share interesting and delicious places. They meet every Thursday after school to walk their children together in the park. Potlucks are held regularly, and everyone is invited to their children’s birthday parties. Enthusiastic parents will also write newsletters to introduce their children and their families, and everyone is familiar with each other.

I absolutely love this school! Lily- director is very attentive, personable and overall a lovely person. Her love and passion for the kids are really what move us. Our son who's been here for a year has learnt to be independent, outspoken, sociable aside from learning Mandarin altogether. It's a small school that it surely feels like an extended family. Things to note are that they don't have camera for parents to supervise here, but I do call and check in quite often and teachers are very accommodating. This Montessori school is also not strictly focused on academic advance but emphasizing strongly on character building and that aligns with our intention for our kids at this age. Overall, we are thankful that we found this safe, loving and fun school for our children.

My son has been attending LEP for two years and I love the school. The Montessori school teaches primarily independence and life skills but also some academics. Teachers at this school treat the students like their own children and show patients, love, and kindness. My son was an extremely timid and shy individual, for a long time, he would keep to himself and not want to participate or play with other kids. LEP gently encouraged and prompted him to join the activities and engage with other kids and activities, never forcing him or singling him out. Now my son actively engages in everything and has friends that he loves to play with.

Our daughter has been going here for over a year and a half and we are so happy with the school. The director really cares about the kids and emphasizes independence. We have seen our daughter grown immensely after going here. We also know that she is loved and cared for here. Our son will be starting in Oct and we can't wait for our third to start school here. I would highly recommend this place!

My son attended Laughter Educare for 2 years. I've been very happy with the instruction he has received. The school did a great job navigating through the COVID times. Although they are Montessori based, with a focus on independence, my son still learned about math and science there, which I believe will benefit him immensely in kindergarten. The director (Lily) went above and beyond for our child's customized needs and I feel very fortunate to have my son's first exposure to education at Laughter Educare.

My son has been going to Laughter Educare for almost 2 years now since we moved into this area. We were new to this area and soon after our son attend LEP, he developed good friendships with some of the kids. We often do playdates outside of school hours. Seeing how he becomes right now and how happy he is, makes us feel grateful to have LEP by our side to help develops our son. What sets Laughter Educate apart is their commitment to incorporating laughter and play into the learning process. This creates a fun and engaging environment that keeps children excited about learning. The staff members are kind and caring, the facilities are excellent.Overall, I would highly recommend Laughter Educare to any parent looking for quality education and care for their children.

My son has been going to LEP for 1.5 year and we love the school! The school believes in letting kids grow freely within boundaries. They focus on practical life skills and teach kids math/ language/ science through play. They do many activities independently but also as a group- circle time, show and tell, craft, etc. The teachers respect the different personalities and correspond with the children accordingly. It's been amazing watching our son develop social skills and learn to articulate his feelings and experiences. We're happy and grateful to be part of the LEP community.

My daughter was a very shy COVID baby who started at LEP when she was 2 1/2 years old, and it was so wonderful to see her blossom there. She previously tried another preschool but didn't get much out of it. On the other hand, at LEP, she thrived and looked forward to going to school every day. We visited a few schools, but I was most impressed by Director Lily's tour and introduction of their learning/teaching philosophy. Half the teachers spoke Mandarin, while the other half spoke English. My daughter learned an incredible amount and also became much more independent after starting at LEP. She adores her friends from there and talks about them when she comes home. The teachers are very warm and loving with the kids and really help to bring out the best in them.Bonus: COVID precautions were followed strictly, and shockingly, our daughter made it through COVID/flu/RSV season only getting sick once with a minor cold.Of note, the LEP families have also built a great community, and they do a lot of activities together outside of school. Our daughter has done well at LEP that we even debated keeping her in school here while we live on the peninsula, but the commute and traffic would be too insane. I am so sad we will have to have our daughter move on from LEP.

We feel lucky we found Laughter for our son and are grateful for the loving and caring director, teachers, and staff. Laughter was the perfect place to start our son's journal of education. The transition to school life is so much easier than we had expected. The bilingual setting is a big plus because we only speak mandarin to our son at home. He felt safe and less stressed when he found the teachers understood and listened to him. In this safe environment, he picked up English surprisingly fast. The teachers and staff are wonderful. They pay close attention to every kid and know everyone's personality, strengths, and weaknesses. On top of all the knowledge and skills, my kid also learned to be a confident, independent, and respectful person. The good traits that Laughter helped to instill into his mind will benefit him for the rest of his life. I highly recommend Laughter to anyone looking for a preschool for their kids.

The teachers and families here are amazing. My 3 yr old daughter has made many friends, learned Chinese songs and out of the blue she started counting to 20 in Chinese! She's happy and safe and growing here. Parking can be challenging during busy times and regular schedule starts at 9 am although there is the option for early care if needed. The kids do a good job masking and everyone's temperature is checked twice a day so it feels quite safe even in pandemic situation and pre vaccine for the under 5s.

If you want your child to grow into a well-rounded, healthy, caring and curious person, this preschool is the right place to be.Everyone from Ms. Lily, the director, to all the teachers works diligently everyday to provide the children a safe, encouraging place to thrive. I was particularly worried about my child adapting to post-COVID new life interacting with other kids, but Ms. Lily worked with us and provided methodical and practical advice on how to consistently help my child adapt to the environment. To say that Ms. Lily helped my child and my family is an understatement: she empowered my child to become someone that I never imagined possible, and brought tremendous joy to me and my wife.I cannot overstate how much I appreciate every teacher at Laughter Educare. I highly recommend every parent to visit and consider it.
