I walked in late, just as Tanya was about to close, but she still welcomed me with kindness and even offered me tea. With my long hair, I knew it would be a lot of work, but she took the time and effort to make sure everything was perfect. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she’s also a wonderful person. She made sure her expertise shone through in both her work and our conversation.
I’ve had layered cuts my whole life, but this was, without a doubt, the BEST one I’ve ever had. I posted it on social media, and everyone loved it! This was truly one of my best salon experiences. I only get my hair cut once a year btw! Thank you Tanya!

OK so I found this salon by doing a little research and impulse I really wanted a haircut it’s been probably 6+ years since I’ve actually went to a salon for a haircut when I tell you from the beginning to the end of my experience was absolutely amazing. I can’t express the connection From the phone call, there’s an actual person who answers the phone which nowadays you don’t get you get a voicemail you leave a message and they return your call but to call and have somebody actually answer. The phone is amazing we did a Consultation over the phone just asking me what my hair is like how much I wanna cut a little bit about what I’m looking for the plan was to try to get as soon as possible Tanya, Happened to have a cancellation at the end of the day and she gave me the appointment right for talking to her I felt like it was a good match. She’s so Easy to talk to the shop is really cute just had good vibes all around . The haircut so it’s been a long time since I had my haircut I had an envision of what I wanted and when I share with you guys that every single detail I explained and wanted my hair to look like that’s exactly how it came out in our heads we get these ideas and it’s so hard to share them with another person and have them create this In real life and that’s exactly what she did my hair came out perfect. She didn’t rush she took her time. She explained how to use certain products she explained to me what she was doing. My hair is super long so I was nervous because I love my long hair and I didn’t want to lose the length and I felt like I didn’t get a cup but I got the best cut Sense it’s still so long and beautiful and she just brought it back. Thank you so much Sonja for giving me such a wonderful wonderful experience. I already referred two friends and I will continue to do so on anyone that compliments my hair

I love my hair! Tanya is fabulous. She has transformed my hair from ground zero to an astonishingly healthy long and silky mane. Color is beautiful. The salon is cozy and welcoming. An interesting and effortless conversationalist, no small matter if sitting for two hours.
Pricey, but worth it.

Sahar did an amazing job on my hair. The end result is amazing. Just a little note that she’ll make you feel bad about your hair - she said mine was horribly dry and tangled. If you want complements, you won’t get them here but your hair will look great.

Great place to get hair conditioned for frizzy hair too. Tanya is great here She has great products to keep curly hair moist and great tips on hair care.

This is such a nice place to have your hair done.Parvin helped me with my haircut, she’s very nice and friendly; she made sure that all my needs were well communicated and I was very satisfied with the outcome.I told her I’ll definitely come back again once I’m ready for a BIG change ;)

I used to travel to SF and SJ for my color and cut until a good friend referred me to this East Bay gem a few years ago (pre-pandemic). Tanya and her team have never let me down . Tanya takes the time to give a true consult: she listens to you and your needs. I've seen her cut both mens' and womens' hair and I've never seen anyone disappointed. I always feel upbeat and ready to take on the world after every cut and color. Tanya is magical!

Tanya is a master hair stylist! I met Tanya at the HERS Breast Cancer retail store at Washington Hospital Annex. I was shopping for a new wig. She was very enthusiastic in helping me select a new wig. I had been searching for a new hairstylist for my hair and someone who could style my wigs. I was thrilled I finally found someone who could do both. I made an appt. for a haircut and consultation for a color change from gray to a medium brown with high lights. We discussed hair color, hair styles, and products for my thin hair. I left with my first haircut in months, very happy. Then I had my hair colored with highlights which turned out great, just what I expected. Tanya also enhanced and styled one of my wigs that needed to be cut shorter and tweaked the bangs. She's very versatile and experienced plus she has a wonderful personality. Tanya goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and wants you to be happy when you leave her salon.

Tonya and Allyssa took some drab covid hair and made it into the exact pink I wanted and had me feeling better than I ever thought I could. They were so kind and worked above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted.

Rick has been my barber for almost 10 years at this point, so I am a transplant so-to-speak. Rick is a professional and you can tell that he loves his craft. The conversations I've had with him while getting my hair cut have been some of the best I've had with anyone in any setting.
The location has a parking lot and has plenty of parking. The amenities here are amazing - offering coffee, water, snacks, and a spacious waiting area. My favorite part is that they accept credit cards, something Rick's old shop never did.
Wherever Rick goes, I will go, but I'm glad he found a place that is nice and welcoming as Millennium Salon.
