Namaste Plaza is a small, old-world type of Indian grocery store that has served the area's Indian diaspora for years. It is considered one of the original stores for the community. While the space is smallish, it accommodates a good amount of groceries. The store excels in providing fresh produce, which is a central part of Indian cuisine, offering primo quality and crazy variety in items like garlic, onions, chilis, ginger, and fresh herbs such as cilantro, dill, and basil. Customers appreciate the super fresh vegetables and herbs, though sometimes the herbs can be a bit limp. The store also sells some plants for gardening. A key advantage is its extensive selection of ayurvedic items and spices, which are hard to find in many other stores. The spice aisle offers an overwhelming variety, with most spices sold in bags versus bottles, making the cost per unit much less—often five times less—than American grocery stores. Shoppers can find isolated spices like black pepper, coriander, and fennel seeds, as well as mixed spices like curry powder and garam masala. The store also carries specialty items like unrefined sunflower oil and has a great selection of basmati rice. However, opinions on pricing are mixed. Some find the prices on many items to be much less than American grocery stores and better than other local Indian stores, while others feel the store is pricey and expensive, noting marked-up costs, especially for green vegetables. The staff is described as nice and helpful. While some customers shop there regularly, others visit only once every few months for specific items, preferring it for its proximity and unique offerings despite concerns about variety and cost.
Been going there for 3 years now, best part are the fresh veggies and how they accommodate all groceries in such a small space. The staff is nice too, they help out where needed.

Nice little vegetarian store. Great for a quick shopping. I got a bunch of super fresh dill, a small bucket of yogurt and unrefined sunflower oil (which is hard to find in other stores and it would be a lot more expensive on Amazon). They also sell some plants if you are into gardening.

It is one of many Indian grocery stores I shop in. One of the advantages this place has over some others is the amount of ayurvedic items they sell, including a substance I use regularly but can't find in many of the other stores I shop in. It is a store that serves the Indian diaspora in the area.
