A decent store like most Safeways

The store looks nice, like a typical Safeway. But most of the staff members are rude; tonight was especially bad. They had their carts out stocking shelves and seemed offended that customers were trying to pass by. I go there only because Lucky closed the site near my home.

The store itself is decent but they REALLY NEED TO UPDATE THE ATORE HOURS ON LINE AN WITH THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM. SO FYI THEY CLOSE AT 12AM NOT THE 2AM THATS STARTED!?

KATHLEEN needs to learn how to talk to her customers, don't know how someone with that much lack of simple decency has a job in customer service. We all have bad days, but to take it out on children is disgusting. My kid siblings did a quick sprint from halfway down an aisle to the end of it in a quick "last one to mom is a rotten egg" game & when Kathleen (if this old white lady's name really is Kathleen) made eye contact with one of them as they were halfway there and decided to stop in her tracks (anyone with half a brain in that situation would've kept walking to get out of the way, but no, Kathleen stopped in her tracks). it wasn't until my siblings were less than a foot away that this woman starts to yell as if they were on the other side of the store "You can't run in this store" which would've been fine, one could've argued that she was just doing her job, except a) there was no need to be that loud or have such an aggressive tone when my siblings were right next to her when she started yelling AND b) she didn't stop there, as we walked away from her and she from us, she kept going, though I was so stunned by her initial yelling that I didn't quite get what she was yelling about. Like I said, we all have had days, but that behavior was inexcusable, and you seriously need some basic professional courtesy lessons, there is in fact a way to do your job correctly without being so disgustingly unprofessional in your delivery.

Good place for groceries. Quality is good. Lately busy as nearby Lucky and CVS stores are closed.

Always stocked well. Great prices. Super friendly staff. Lots of parking and handicap parking. Well maintained sidewalks and ramps for wheelchair access

The store is quite lovely, but the parking lot gets a bit shady once it’s dark.

Waited over 1 hour in the long line to get my fried chicken on Fridays. The store should limit 2 bag for each person.

If you need a quick deli sandwich, you better hope no one is in front of you in line. I've been there twice and had to leave because I would've spent most of my lunch break there. I would not have gotten to eat the sandwich before my shift was back on. Safeway needs to get more deli workers and quicker ones. Quantity and quality!

I go to Safeway on Fridays to get the $5 chicken tenders, which seem to be pretty popular. The area where the prepackaged chicken tenders are kept is seemingly never restocked, which is inconvenient as the only option then is to wait in line to get them at the deli area. That in itself isn't too terrible of a thing, but what does make it terrible is when you get poor customer service as well.I was waiting in line with a friend of mine. She is disabled and lives in chronic pain daily, so I help her with things. The lady ahead of us in line was getting quite a large and time consuming order, which is not the employees fault. It is their fault if they regularly skip who's next in line to go to someone who wasn't waiting as long, or when they finally get to you, only to start talking to and helping other customers instead of completing what they were doing with you first. We saw one employee do this not only with us, but also to another customer who they "helped" before us.Naturally, this type of poor customer service is irritating to a healthy person having a normal day, but it is more than irritating when you are someone who has a difficult time shopping because you are also in tremendous pain. When you just want to get what you came for and go, but that process is being held up by an employee who starts handling other customers when you're in the middle of your turn in line.So my friend was irritated and asked him to finish what he was supposed to be helping her with before he went on to chat with others behind us in line. She did not raise her voice at him, she did not curse at him. She only wanted him to help her. This employee got offended and said, "I don't have to serve you, you know!" So we kept quiet until after he gave us the tenders we had waited entirely too long for already. Then my friend left to pay.I stayed behind for a moment and told him that I thought he could have handled that whole situation better. He told me I should just leave and the other employee working there also acted like my friend and I were being rude to him, as though she thought he handled it well.We just wanted to not be skipped in line or have someone stop helping us in the middle of a transaction. This is especially hard on someone who suffers pain and health problems. Do better Safeway. Or at least restock the chickenWhile I know this is not true of every employee there, this Safeway in particular does seem to have a higher amount of unprofessionalism, poor attitude. This seems to be a management issue. I would recommend going to a different Safeway if it's convenient enough for you drive wise.

I felt intimidated by a man wearing a white t-shirt around midnight today (9/15/23). I'm not sure if he was a manager of some sort; he appeared homeless to me, but I'm certain he works there. He was smoking a lot. I entered the store, and the door was wide open because I needed some groceries. The store usually closes at 2 am, but they might have changed their policy, which is fine. Suddenly, the guy appeared out of nowhere and started shouting in my face, telling me they were closed. This guy could definitely benefit from some customer service training.
