They made me come inside the store to pick up my order instead of delivering it to the PICKUP SPOT.
The whole point of pick up orders is to avoid making a run inside the store.

I was driving by the area today (May 23, 2024 around 3pm) and felt like I needed a drink. I first needed to go to the rest room, I asked an employee for the passcode but she won't open the door (asking me to ask someone else; ok that's fine).
Anyhow I got me a large coconut drink, waited my turn at the cashier, then this dude came in, scanned my drink, got some paper towel and blew his nose in the most disgusting way imaginable. I felt like his stuff splashed all over. FFS go to the restroom or somewhere and stop blowing your disgusting nose in the face of a customer.

One of my to go grocery stores. It is almost never crowded and I can make a quick visit to pick up something I need. I like their veggies and greens selections. They got some Asian veggies as well. And you can get some items in bulk. Turns out very cheap if you can use the quantity. Overall great selection and low prices.
And don’t forget to buy a lottery ticket at the end of your shopping visit :)

11-20-2023- smart & final, fremont, calif. excellent employee-**jaquelin vera, very nice, very helpful very knowledgeable on all store products, very good produce handling/stocking. works well above and beyond the store's policies. ** attn store manager: make sure all store employees are well versed on price guarantee, if customers are charged the wrong price" the (1) item is free" " right now these store employees try to play "dumb" and not offer price gurantee and only if customer mentions this transaction gurantee. ** shame on smart/final for trying to hide smart & final " price gurantee or (1) item is free store policy.
