My 16 year old started volunteering here and finished the first shift with a positive experience working with an energetic, friendly, and helpful team! As a heads up, TCV started working with Ohlone Humane Society and is helping to collect dog and cat food here as well! Opened bags accepted! TCV also accepts clean plastic bags and packaged plastic utensils, which they use to distribute food to the homeless. Please support them if you're able!

I have Visited Tri-City Food Bank Several Times Since 2021. They had truly Contactless Service! I’m Immune Compromised so that is very Important To me. It is Very Difficult to Find if you don’t know where you are going! I Gave Up the First Time Because Not Even Google Maps Could Get Me There! Then I Spoke With SomeOne that was Familiar with it that provided accurate directions. I have never been disappointed! They offer fresh fruit and vegetables, unlike Most Food Pantries. I’ve received Fresh Butter and other, “Treats!” They are my definite Favorite!

The so-called food they distributed was either rotten or moldy, and many things were simply not fit for human consumption, not even for animals. It feels like those things are crawling out of the garbage pile.

I donated food and paper/plastic bag and time at this place. Very nice people working there w friendly volunteers. Very diversify type of food given out Monday thru Thursday at their marketplace/farmer market u-pick setup. This is no longer a thrift store only focus on food bank for those who need some extra.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE FOR FOOD BANK. My mother was discriminated by a worker, they accused her of being her twice this week this they refused to give her food. My mother is not very good at speaking English, but accusing someone of coming here already without actually checking is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL. You join as a volunteer to give back to your community right? So why are they being so rude and discriminating? I have grown up in Fremont and hearing this happen to my mom made me very upset. Take in mind then now have a new system of scanning IDs to confirm they date they came. The man did not even bother to check my mothers ID even when she OFFERED!! he went on about saying she already came and she cannot get any food from the food bank. It went on for a good 5 min when they finally checked her ID and confirmed she hasn't been there for THE PAST TWO WEEKS!!! they didn't even say sorry! What kind of organization is this?!!!! I'm sorry but if I give to my community to have them do such things like this?!!! And who knows, maybe my mother wasn't the only one who has gone through this situation! The director need to check his organization to see how things are being run.
