Horrible experience ending with a manager shouting out me in front of a full store . The mistake was their's but the "manager" did not help the issue at all . Instead of her rectifying the situation and apologizing she made the situation worse , shouted at me in front of other customers, snatched my items and placed them on the counter behind her . Both the cashier and manager refused to give me their names several times . They don't wear name tags because they don't want customers to know their names . This is ridiculous service. I will continue to call corporate until this is addressed. They are paid employees, they should know how to do their jobs and not get upset with customers for their mistakes. If you don't know something just say it and get someone to help don't blame it on the customer and think you have the right to shout at them and expect them to not shout back.

I booked for a blow dry at Ulta and got placed with a beginner stylist. To begin with, I had to wait for my appointment as the stylist that Ulta had booked me with was running behind with her existing client. I was understanding and even told her “take your time, there’s no rush.” 20 minutes after my intended appointment I was seen. Right when the stylist started washing my hair, I could tell she’s quite inexperienced. Nonetheless, I had hope. Now a regular blowout at Ulta takes 45 minutes and here I am 45 mins in my appointment and I’m just getting my hair blow dried. To top it of the technique that the stylist was using was not professional. I had to explain multiple times how I want my hair to blow dried (away from my face) not towards it! She then decided that she will curl the ends so she can give me the look I intended to get from the blow dry. I explicitly told her that I’m not looking to pay extra since Ulta charges $32 for styling or using an additional hot tool. And she mentioned she won’t be styling but curl the ends to finish the look. Fast forward 1 hr 45 mins in my appointment I’m finally done. Still not satisfied, I understood that the stylist did the best she could. I go to the cashier to get checked out and while I’m getting checked out, an employee named Jamila interrupts the cashier checking me out and mentions “well she’s used the curling iron on you, so there’s an extra charge” that’s where my patience ran thin! Her attitude and unprofessional behavior was despicable. I explained to her and told her to look whether my hair actually looks styled to which she just made a face and checked me out.I wasn’t seen on my booked time. Neither was I offered a quality service. To top it off their customer service was horrible. Especially Jamila’s! Never again will I go to Ulta to get a blow dry. It’s better to pay $10 more and go to a proper salon for better service and professional individuals.

Made appointments for hair and makeup a month in advance of my wedding and the salon called me ONE WEEK before the wedding and cancelled appointments with no explanation why. They could only offer to tell me to go an hour away to Cupertino. ?

Update on my review, I finally know the name of the girl who is always super sweet and helpful. Her name is Mia, this girl always has such an amazing attitude and so friendly, she makes you feel like you're one of her close friends and she's giving you tips on how to heighten your beauty. There's also a girl there, I believe named Sirena who is also very personable and helpful. She is also very informed about all the products, we talked for a few minutes about perfumes and primers and it felt like two girlies just talking. Great experience, thank you so much.

Never more than one person working. That is if you get to the checkout. More than half the time they are out of whatever I am looking for. Unfortunately they closed the only other Ulta is my town

There should be more employees out on the floor especially from 3 pm to 5 pm. Staff is friendly just wish I could get help when needed.

I called and spent 20 mins trying to book a hair appointment and that person was very helpful. Then the day before the salon calls me and they are having all these background conversations and wanting me to change my appointment. I booked everything and then they are saying that I don't know what I want. I was very specific about what I wanted because I didn't have an exact pic then I should change my appointment. It was very unprofessional and like they didn't wanna do it! It's annoying because I am finding time out of my day to schedule and then the attitude in the background is that they didn't wanna do my hair without even seeing me. Very frustrating and annoying experience, why would I wanna schedule an appointment when there attitude is like I am a bother - so I cancelled

On a daily basis we spend about $100 per month, one regret wish we could get some better samples, love this stores and location ???
