I came there to apply for my babies passport. The agent was helpful and I was able to get done with in just 20 minutes approximately. Great service! Overall, post office is clean and agents are super friendly. Normally they only serve appointments only but according to the notice on the door and what clerks told me, they have walk-ins every Monday and Friday from 2:30pm- 4pm.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I swung by the Fremont Post Office on Dusterberry and was greeted by a friendly team who answered all my shipping questions with patience and clarity.
Walking in felt like stepping back in time—the original tile floor hasn’t changed since I was a kid, and those memories came flooding back! I appreciated their heads-up advice: avoid shipping the day after a holiday, as processing times can stretch out.
The lobby was clean, the lines moved steadily, and everyone I spoke with was eager to help. If you’re planning a big mail-out, ask about their peak-season timing so you’re not caught off guard. #pauleverhome

Went there 2 years ago to applied new passport at the same time with my family. My family all got their new passport delivered except mine for some unknown reason. They only sent me back my cert. Very unprofessional because I don’t really care about it but I already paid for everything, since they took my money they need to be accountable for it. At least they should refund my money back so that I can reapply the new one.

The ONLY reason I went to this office was because they do passport approvals. As other posters have commented they've an addition to their policy which is mentioned nowhere other than reviews here: they only do six walk ups and you're done.
I joined a queue of 20 or so people, all wanting passport applications. Gave up.
Moral here is make an appointment and hope like heck you're not in a rush.

This is specific to their passport service. Website says 2.30 pm to 4pm passport walk ins. But in the post office they have 10am to 4pm sign inside and 2.20 to 4pm outside. Also they take 6-8 walk ins only. You need to come by at least an hour early to be in that top 8. Then they take way longer for each applicant, 30 minutes or more sometimes. They have only 1 person servicing the passport line and there are 4-5 others at regular services with no customers. Wish they could do better resource allocation, given that each passport application processing fee is $35 which is a lot. Should they be spending time and resources on high revenue operations rather than just having too many accepting mails?

Went to renew my 17 year old’s passport. We did not have an appointment so tried to come on a Friday for walk in service 2:30-4pm. Got there by 2pm and there was already a line by the passport office. They gave out a special token pass to the people for walk ins and only take 6 applicants.
Thankfully we were lucky to get the last pass while we waited in line. It took about 1 hour and 40 min until we were seen. 2-3 people worked the passport services. Raj who helped us was very polite and professional. Other people that came after 2:30pm were turned away and asked to come back on Monday if you don’t have an appointment. If you’re coming in for walk in service for passport I suggest coming in an hour prior to 2:30pm or if you can wait then try to make an appointment online. Postal service people were nice and helpful!
