Wonderful, caring staff.

This used to be a great place, not anymore. Overpriced, rude front office staff. If you voice your opinion online they will deny care for your fur baby. They did that to me today. Told me go somewhere else. I was shocked and gobsmacked. I will admit I was not nice in the end. Please do not go here. Good luck

We used to take our pets here as we felt this place is not a over-priced one. But our recent vet visit changed that! This place has changed so bad that we won't bring our pets here anymore. We took our dog here for ear infection, they gave us an estimate of $1200 for the treatment. Yes, you are reading correct. Why the heck anyone would pay that amount for the ear infection of a dog! We removed unnecessary items from their list. Ended up paying 1/3 of the list. Now the real drama started. We ordered the ear drop which is $7 from an online pharmacy and VCA wanted to sell it for $67! Online pharmacy kept contacting them and at some point when we called VCA, they told us either we have to buy pet medicine from them or they will just give us a hand written prescription. We got the hand written prescription and it took long time to get the medicine. After our bad experience with this place, we will never take any of our animals here ever again. We will give our business to other vet offices who is less greedy and don't rip -off customers. Buying anything or having treatment from here is a total rip-off.

We moved here in December and decided to establish care at VCA immediately, so when something arises with our animals we have consistent care. Since then, they won't confirm prescriptions online or email, only give paper, the receptionist was terse with me when I called with my dog sick and they don't keep appointments open or have flexibility to fit your dog in if sick. They send you to "sister" locations who also won't fit in your sick dog. They refer you to an ER vet during business hours they have a "partnership" with. If you are wanting anything outside of your annual visit and to buy flea and tick meds from them (at a mark up), don't bother establishing care.

Our experience was very pleasant, the doctor was patient and took the time to explain everything to us.

There are not transparent with their pricing, we brought our puppy there and told them we are interested in puppy wellness plan. They said they need to do an exam first and then gave us an itemized price, we were not aware that they charged ~$120 for an 5 mins exam, and I don’t understand why they can’t give us the cost estimate upfront and put everything on the table, we ended up paying that visit fee but did nothing.

I have been coming to VCA mission for years. I came here today to bring my car, Quattro, for his physical exam. I come back time and time again due to their short wait times and helpful staff. Today I arrived with my baby (a human baby) and the staff helped me bring my.. overweight cat (fur baby) inside since it can be tough to juggle an anxious kitty and a baby. That small gesture made my morning. Thank you! The board up front had the names of today's patients. Cute! I was brought into the exam room right at the time of our appointment. Aaron (I'm assuming the vet tech?) was very quick, friendly, and efficient with his initial exam (weight/temp) and history gathering. Dr. Peterson was also quick, efficient, and friendly. I was in & out within 25 mins. She also took the time to provide information on my cat's ideal caloric intake, which is helpful in starting his weight loss journey.Pricing: Exam- $118The only downside is that their pricing is a little expensive, but it's worth the convenience for me. And honestly, cost everything in the Bay is pretty high so, maybe it's just the average price now a days. Either way, I was happy with my experience today.

Brought my dog here to get diagnosed, I talked to the doctor about the tests they needed to do and the type of medication they prescribe. Since they did the tests, "they found what caused the issue" from what they told us and we started giving our dog the medication prescribed. The lady that comes out to help us she was inpatient with our questions and had a bad attitude by the way. Bottom line our dog got misdiagnosed after spending lots of money here and at this point we have to find another place that the doctor is more educated and has enough experience. One of the response was "we have to start from somewhere" so what was the diagnosis about based on the tests they did??? Clueless about their job and its possible they don't even care in the first place.

SIGNIFICANTLY OVERPRICED I was charged over $180 to have them see both my dogs (at the same time) and the appointment was just a quick checkup that lasted about 15 minutes (total) - so that I could be quoted (significantly higher than other bids) for a couple of surgeries. They're just going to nickel and dime you, I spent near $200 for literally nothing.

So they are a chain , but if you go to one and get medicine they can not fill it at another without having to do a brand new doctor visit aka a excuse to charge you again. I started going here bc I thought I could go to one and then my records and everything be on file with all of them. Not sooooo , just another money grab

Quiet competent, expensive as heck but worth it. My doggie baby seemed unstressed. And the best part, they answer the phone
