As always I try to check expirations dates. This time in a big hurry and unfortunately didn’t check on a 2 lb. Block of Lucerne Cheese. Making dinner later went to use and when opened it looked strange. I checked expiration and sure enough expired a week earlier. Well so much that dinner in progress. So next day had to go back and return. No I didn’t keep receipt , didn’t have a reason to. Well at customer service the lady tries to tell me you have to have your receipt. I told her it was on sale for $5.99. She and I went back and forth. I was willing to exchange but of course now they are all out of it. She made it so difficult, but I guess to get rid of me finally refunded me. What big inconvenience this whole situation. I was so upset, I had to waste so much time.

This store has awesome employees! Produce, deli, bakery, self checkout. I live 2 blocks from Safeway on Washington but it doesn’t compare.

I was there at 2 pm for my curbside pickup. They sent me home because they “were running 2 hours late, just wait for a call.”
