Jessica at the front desk was very professional and took care of us in a matter of minutes; without feeling rushed either. She even recommended a restaurant that we are extremely thankful for (Heirloom). Thank you Jessica and Alamo for a smooth rental process

Be very careful if you rent from this Alamo location and are planning to head up into the mountains. I reserved and paid for a standard suv all wheel drive vehicle only to find when I’m in a snow storm in Sequoia National Park that they gave me a front wheel drive suv with “snow” mode that is useless. I called roadside assistance and they are no help. I tried to call the Fresno desk and get a message that says they are closed even though the main number says they are open. This is not only a ripoff financially since I paid for a standard suv awd, but it’s dangerous as I’m now in snow without the awd that I had planned for.Update: while the above experience has not changed and was unacceptable, upon returning to Fresno, Norma and David were able to at least make the situation better. Still be cautious, but if you seek out Norma and David, you’ll be in good hands.

We had a great experience here. Sarriya the lady there was very nice when we asked if we could cancel and rebook with National instead at a lower price point. Because of rain/snow conditions, we wanted to upgrade our car to a car with four-wheel drive. We were able to rebook with National to get a better rate. Alamo and National are the same company it turns out.

We rented our car here for our Yosemite trip and the car was nothing but flawless. The return process was swift and Dave made it an absolute breeze. 10/10 would recommend!

Very easy check in process particularly through AAA travel additionally, if booked through AAA website hertz provides a 30 center discount on gas so no need to refill vehicle before returning.

Our checking in for our vehicle was a very smooth process… we were given a choice of cars and were given an Audi car which was very comfortable and easy to drive.

Had a very negative experience where price to change drop off location changed by several hundred dollars in a matter of 15 minutes between calls - initially I was told $150 and said I would call back when I had a break from work to finalize it all. Customer support/service was very unhelpful when I called back and I ended up not being able to change drop off location to another near by airport that had a better flight home. Jumping my total bill from $204 to almost $900 just to change the drop off location to a larger airport only two hours away is unbelievable! 14 hours later after taking the red eye, I'm finally home and won't use Alamo, Enterprise, or National ever again.

My experience with this Alamo car rental went well. I had several vehicles to choose from, all of which were nice so it was a hard decision. Checking it was easy and quick.

From the counter at the airport to leaving in my rental was smoother than any other rental company, at any airport. Very proficient staff and certainly going to use Alamo whenever possible.

Customer service at Santa Barbara airport was the worst at 10am on 10-15-23. The staff did not want to help me replace my vehicle that had tire damage after I was told to drive there 30mins to pick up a replacement vehicle. I would NOT recommend Alamo.

Beware of unexpected charges on your credit card! And even tho eventually they admitted the mistake which was inconceivable to me, I was refunded but no apology! Very sad, be careful and check your Credit Card after the fact

Picked up vehicle at Alamo Airport location and was told we could add a driver at any enterprise location. After multiple attempts to add a driver including driving to another enterprise location we were unable to add a driver. Made multiple phone calls and was given the run around. When I called Alamo to confirm if our driver was added they told me I could not add another driver unless I drove to another Alamo airport location. I was never told this by any of the representatives I had previously spoke to and it was not an option to drive to another Alamo airport location. Will NEVER go through this agency again.

It's almost fascinating how slow and outdated this customer service desk was in the middle of a summer day, which is supposed to be peak season. 1 person manning the desk with a super slow and manual process. Alamo has an "accelerated check-in" process that still requires you to go to the front desk anyways, whereas the Enterprise desk right next to it lets you skip the line and go immediately to the customer service at the lot. Their line also moved twice as fast.You could easily automate so much of this process and cut down on costs by introducing a few kiosks, or at least digital signing of contracts. In the world of everyone screaming that we need AI, it is humbling to remember that there are such inefficient companies that haven't figured out the most basics of digital automation.
