Have bought 2 of the 20' containers one multi trip and one 1 trip hi-ceiling. Thinking about getting a third. Have seen others buy from other sellers and I will definitely be going back to allied.

This is a company that overcharges people, double billing and demanding payment with threat of " dumping your belongings in the storage container out and reclaiming the container" They abuse and exploit elderly people, double talking them into contracts. I would not recommend renting containers from them, I have four and am now looking into purchasing some from someone else, renting is not for my husband and I.

We purchased a rent to own storage container from this company around 10 years ago five years ago they tried to say we did not finish paying it off I proved to them that we did finish paying it off they were trying to get thousands of dollars from us telling us that they were going to come and pick it up with our stuff within it or not until I hired a lawyer and wasted tons of money finally proved to them that it was paid off and then when I go to move the container they took it to their yard instead of to my new location they are thieves now they want money from me to get my container with my stuff in it back do not ever use these people!!!!!

They talk about rent to own contracts but this company doesn’t actually provide rent to own so right when you think you’re done paying it off all the sudden they want all this money!!

Cheapskates ripping people off every chance they get!!! Just because your containers with more now than when I originally got it, it doesn't mean you all of a sudden deserve more money for it.

If I could give them zero stars I would this company just robbed my disabled parents. About 10 years ago my parents got a rent to own shipping container from Allied several years after they finish paying it off they tried to call them and tell them that they still owed thousands of dollars on it and my poor disabled parents we're going to pay it until I found out. I went out of my way to prove to them that we paid what the contract said and told them if you really think it's your container I've hired a lawyer and everything spent tons of money on it and they never came to get the container because I told them if they did I will take them to court and I will ask for lawyer fees and everything because I have proof that my parents paid what the contract for the rent to own was then they tried telling them it was the wrong container that these arent our rent to own containers I was like I don't care it's a rent to own contract if you dropped off the wrong container years ago that's not our problem. I told them if they really thought it was theirs come and get it and will handle it in court they never came and got it when I was having it moved from one location to the other instead of bringing it to my new location they had it moved to their storage yard and now they want let me guess all kinds of money for us to get our container and stuff back! I found the other people had the same problem, they are thieves do not trust them!!!! update talk to Allied storage is corporate office where I was told that allied storage units and Bulldog towing are buddies and will tell you it's a rent to own contract when it's really not and then wait until you're done paying it off and try to tell you you owe all kinds of back rent on it any better paid if you want to keep it!!

We didn’t want a permanent storage shed on our property or own a bulky, heavy metal container simply because we didn’t know how long we’d live in our home. We shopped around and rented a 40 yd container from Allied for 2 yrs. They had the best rate for what we needed. The lady in the office was very nice too.

Rented some containers back in November 2020 through March 2021. Delivery and container condition was great. Pick up was a pain bc they sent the wrong size truck for residential.The BIG PROBLEM-Got a call later in 2021 stating they didn’t receive payment. I spoke with sales rep and confirmed they had received reoccurring payment authorization and everything was good. Fast forward to May 2022, I get another call stating I had an outstanding balance. After reviewing my credit cards, it does look like I was never charged. So I agree to pay the amount minus finance charges bc they said that was their fault . When asked if they could cut the cost of the rental since they are now collecting out of the blue 14 months later, and was told management would not make a cut. To be charged $500+ out of the blue is big. Company should have came to a discounted agreement since this was an error on their part. Not sure if they had a legal right, but not worth being sent to collections at this point.Highly recommend finding a more reliable company.Leaving this review at Fresno site bc this is where I was called about account, and San Diego site where I rented from.
