CHEAT ALERT — RACIST CASHIER EXPERIENCE
I believe I handed the cashier $31, but the pump only allowed me to get $30 worth of gas. When I questioned him, he simply said I must be mistaken. I could have been mistaken. But, What doesn’t sit right is that he didn’t mention any discrepancy when I handed him the cash despite clearly counting it in front of me and then even asking me to confirm the pump number. Even if it was an honest mistake, he could have easily brought it to my attention later while I was pumping gas instead of brushing it off.
This same cashier also gave me a hard time a few nights earlier when I asked him for a cash back. He said he didn’t have any cash but I requested to give me at least $20 that I needed for gas. He gave me the $20, I left to get my gas can from work (fields) and came back around 2-3 AM to get gas but it was a different worker at the register this time. Fast Forward to today: I go in, hand him the money and he goes, trying to mock me, “oh you are back. So you ended up getting gas the other night (annoyed-sarcastic way). He seemed very annoyed and asked me straight up why I didn’t get the gas when I took the cashback. I was shocked that what business is his.. I paid $0.35 for the cashback and he’s questioning me why I didn’t use my money as per I told him I was going to (though I did). Out of curtesy, I explained that I had returned around 3 AM after retrieving my gas can. He then went ahead and confirmed with his coworker. The audacity this guy had was unbelievable.
After confirming and noticing that I did come in later for gas that night with the same cash back, he got more angry [probably because his coworker confirmed what I said]. This was strictly business. On a personal level, you’d understand why one is trying to prove the bigger person but even then, he had the audacity to do this to a customer!!! The level of disrespect this worker was showing to a customer was astonishing.
And, he didn’t stop there. What began as rude and dismissive behavior escalated into something far worse. It ended with him using extremely vulgar and racially slurs toward me…language that should have no place in a society, let alone from someone employed to serve a customer. It’s troubling that a business would hire someone for a customer-facing job, a someone who feels entitled to speak so disgustingly and act with such disrespect to a customer. The audacity he had to treat a paying customer with such vulgar arrogance is beyond believable. Up to a point, I had tolerated his childish, unprofessional attitude but the moment it turned into racism, he crossed a line that should never be touched by a decent citizen let alone an employee representing a business.
This wasn’t just poor service. It was a disgraceful and disgusting display of hate and immaturity. A complete disregard for basic decency and professionalism. This employee clearly lacks the fundamental understanding of the respect every customer deserves. For a business to continue allowing someone like him to represent them suggests (A) either the owner is unaware of this employee’s behavior or (B) that they’re desperate to keep anyone who is willing to cover the graveyard shift. Either way, it reflects poorly on the business.

Cheap gas, cashier was kind and communicative. They even gave me directions on how to bypass the massive blockage on the freeway.
Otherwise it's your typical gas station.
