Krystle Peralta at Avis Budget Rent a car gave us a dirty car. It was the only one available so we took it. She told us that we needed to take out their car insurance because ours would not cover the car if we got in a wreck. When I was able to get ahold of our insurance company they said that was not true. So we paid almost $70.00 for nothing. I called the number on her business card & could not get through to her & no voice mail. I think it was a lady from a call center that I talked to. She offered us half off but I felt that we deserved all of it back since Krystle lied to me. Not only that but the car was around 200 miles short of being full. We realized that when we gassed it up in Lake Havasu.
They are Avis Budget rent a car. If I could give them a zero I would. We will never use this company again.
We took the car back to the Avis Budget rental car at the airport in Lake Havasu. When it was checked in we asked to rent a smaller car & Sheila Parry said that she didn't have anything available & she had already rented the other car out to another customer so we were left stranded with no car. We had been in a car accident in Fresno and our car was totaled. That is why we needed a rental. Sheila was so rude. No good customer skills whatsoever!! What a horrible experience with Avis all the way around!!
We ended up going to Enterprise & they were great!!! We rented a vehicle. The lady took us all around the car & explained where everything was. Avis Budget did not!
I would advise anyone who needs to rent a vehicle to not ever go through Avis Budget! It's no wonder that they have such a low rating!

Rented a Kia Soul for a week at this location. Very pleased with the entire experience. Crystal was very helpful. She is very friendly and highly efficient.

Unprofessional and incompetent. I reserved a car weeks in advance and when I arrived to pick it up there were no cars available that matched my reservation request. I had to take a bigger car than what I needed because I did not have time to call around Fresno for another reservation, I was on a tight schedule and couldn’t deviate from it. The representative at the front desk even admitted to forgetting to call me the night before to let me know. It’s more expensive but you’re better off going to the airport than this location.

The employees are so efficient and kind. I had a situation with my rental shortly after picking it up and they were very helpful to resolve the problem!

!!DO NOT RENT!! Do not get any vehicle here these people do not care about anything. I put a reservation a month ago and just get a voicemail from some lady a couple days from my pick up date to say she doesn’t have any cars for me waste of time and now I have to figure something else out. Beware this place sucks!

We booked a car online through Costco months in advance. We also called the number listed for this budget location 3x prior to confirm the reservation.When we arrived the employee knew of our reservation but immediately told us there was no car for us. She immediately said there was nothing she could do and “was not going to argue with us”. She then said it’s Costco’s fault and the cooperate office for not having the car. She also gave the excuse that she could not call in advance because the phones are down. Looking through past reviews it appears they have had phone problems for years.Overall, it appears the business has your reservation but made no effort to fulfill it. It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry goes to a car rental facility and has a similar problem. The facility knew how to take the reservation but not hold the reservation. On top of that the employee was incredibly rude, unapologetic and was saying whatever she could for us to just leave. The employee told us her manager would call us when he got in but of course he never did - Shame.Buyers beware.

Krystal was beyond rude. They canceled a 12 passenger, one way rental, the day before our pickup. We booked it in January (5months in advance) for our family vacation. The owner, Leo, is equally rude. They offered nothing to help and said I should understand.

They do not have an after hours drop off, had to pay $200 extra to change my drop off location to the airport one

They canceled my reservation I had weeks in advance due to overbooking on their website. No phone call, no email, and/or no text from them. I only found out when I went to pick up my reservation. They gave me another agency to rent a 12-passenger from for our family trip, which was more expensive, but didn't offer anything else to fix my situation when it was their website that said there were availability.I've reserved a truck and trailer at uhaul last week and they've just notified me via phone call a location that would have what I need and sent me the information via text, now that's quality service!

Rented a car from this establishment that was one way to Los Angeles. During the walk through it was pointed out to me by the agent that the car had multiple scratches all over the vehicle with an additional small crack on the windshield.However, when I arrived in Los Angeles they tried to blame one of the scratches (a scratch I firmly remember the initial agent pointing out) on me. I had to fill out an incident report even though the "incident" was the Budget agent not doing her job properly.Still awaiting word from Budget on whether they will try to fleece me for damages that were already on the vehicle. I will never rent from Budget again. Learned my lesson though.....must video the whole walk through to ensure accountability.
