Awful experience! So glad I don't bank here, yesterday I had an appointment at 4:30 to meet with a banker. I arrived a little early expecting that I may have to wait either until my appointment time or a little beyond if he is still assisting another client, which was ok. There was a point of time when I was the only client waiting inside the branch! But I can only hear talking amongst 3 other people as I was getting impatient (it is now 15 mins beyond 430). I started catching their conversation and only to find out that it was talking amongst employees and management (I am assuming) coaching employees to be "team players" "we're one big team" and "we need to step in and help each other..." I couldn't BELIEVE my ears!!!!! It was so unprofessional and inappropriate to coach employees in their lobby while there are clients waiting beyond their appointment time for assistance! I waited a total of 20 mins beyond my appointment time because of the employees were inconsiderate!

Definitely time to switch to a new bank... Waited about 15/20 mins. Only one person in front of me. 1 window open but closed because it was a new teller (Sean) and was asking questions about transactions and counting money so he couldn't help anyone. Line was growing... now about 6 people in line and still no one has been helped. Another teller (Yvette) was counting money. Another teller (Emmanuel) was just standing next to Sean and they were chatting it up and not helping or acknowledging anyone. The atms were done that's why people were coming in. They were complaining about it. Finally, my turn. I wanted to cash a small check and withdraw funds from my account. They said I can withdraw but they have to put a hold on the check. It was only $600 dollars. I had enough funds for the check and the withdrawal. I didn't want the check to be deposited I just wanted to cash it. Never had problems before. I asked was it because the teller felt uncomfortable to cash checks? I didn't understand why they could just cash like they alway did before. So Yvette stops what she's doing and tell Sean's that I was able to cash my check because I have enough funds. Then I confirmed to make sure I was cashing the check and withdrawing. Sean says "well if that's what you want to do, because I was told I am able to do it for you" While they were processing my check to be cash Yvette then says oh we have to put a hold. At this point I am so frustrated because they keep going back and forth. Yvette says you can take this check and cash it where it was written from. I'm said fine just deposit it and just give me the cash that I'm asking for. She then said we have to put a hold. I asked why do you have to put a hold if there are funds in my account and have been in there for a long time and I always cash the same amount from the same people every month? She said she doesn't know. Sean and Yvette look at the transaction again... realizing they made a mistake and already processed it for it to be cashed. They tried to deposit that same check that is why the company wouldn't allow them to cash it. After all that, Sean asks me again how much I want to withdraw. He fills out the withdrawal slip has me sign it... then fills out another and asks me to sign again. I asked why am I signing for two slips for the same amount? I just felt they were being shady. Sean definitely needs more training. Yvette wasn't friendly either. After realizing giving me wrong info and not doing the transaction correctly she should have apologized instead of giving me an attitude. Emmanuel was just standing around just watching. Uggghhh so irritating.

This branch is awesome! If I am in a rush they have a drive up option for an ATM and for a banker! Also, very friendly and professional staff. I never have a problem getting change, of any amount, or with my deposits. I highly recommend this branch of Chase!

Where's the no stars button for Marie ? I wanna say thank you for not helping me at all. Just got settled into fresno for a month and I got the WORST banking service by Marie. Restricted my account for not being able to pay 96 dollars . I am 19 years old and work full time student it interfered a lot not having my account. Said I couldn't get a new bank account anywhere . However WELLS FARGO gave me a account within 20 minutes . No longer a member if chase
