Learn from our mistake - you will regret doing business with the sales people at Costco. We trusted Costco as long time loyal customers, and were betrayed. Wife got suckered into a deal by a Direct TV saleslady in the aisle at the Abby street Costco. High pressure sales tactics. Wife switched over everything - tv / internet/ and cell service. Since then , it has been an absolute nightmare. I could type hundreds of words on what has happened - hours on the phone etc - system still doesnt work. Called Costco to let them know what was going on in their store. Spoke to a person who claimed to be the manager. Showed no interest in the problem, and basically blew me off. Dont fall for the high pressure sales people in the aisles at Costco....Costco does not support their loyal customers....

This was a 4 star establishment. Good customer service on most occasions. Clean restrooms. Sometimes they manage the crazies. And they do a good job of stocking the shelves. But today, my expectations were shattered when we were on our way to cash out. We headed to start our self checkout Andrew the older fellow recommended that we go to a regular check stand. I then said we always check ourselves out because it is faster and more efficient. He then argued that he guarantees the checkers are faster than this (self checkouts). To avoid hurting the old man's pride, I took his advice. 20 minutes later, the only person ahead of us was finished searching her purse for exact change and explained how she just got paid (for junk food and soda?!) He was incorrect in assuming our capabilities. Furthered by his choice to provide an Avenue that could reduce his workload (scanning our waters) disappointed.

The gas prices are very low however the lanes are pretty tight so it doesn’t fit an RV very easily so that other cars can pull out while we are fueling up and they are finished.

I have always had good luck at the optical dept at Costco In Visalia and Turlock, but my experience today at the Fresno Costco was disappointing. The person helping me was impatient and made me feel like I was wasting her time. I have a complicated prescription and I need to be careful in choosing my glasses. I bought 2 two pair, but should have walked away and gone to the Costco in Clovis.

The service is bad! Will Absolutely be canceling my membership. The lady at the entrance asking to show memberships said "thank you" to everyone except me and my family. Was she racial profiling or what type of behavior is this! Workers like her should definitely not work at a job site like that.

I'll start by saying it is a good location geographically. But yes it's always busy. There is tons of parking though and it's not that far of a walk from anywhere in parking lot. I mostly access the pharmacy as of late and I'll tell you it's excellent service. It's busy but so efficient! They work so hard, it's clean, organized, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Most of all helpful! The pharmacists are all really kind, explain things, and work hard. They also have animal health. Def go here! And don't forget to thank them! Pharmacy staff works really hard! :)

Costco Roast Chicken is the subject of this review. I recently started buying the Roast Chickens and have always been very happy with them from the North Fresno Costco. Perfectly cooked, moist, 5 stars. I recently started buying these, and have bought three of them. Each one was cooked to perfection. They are very consistent, so I figured they had a well controlled process. At the North Fresno Costco, they do. Yesterday I was in Clovis and I bought a Roast Chicken at the Clovis Costco. What a mistake. Overcooked, dry. Very poorly done. Legs and Wings were dry and tough. Breast meat was dry. If you want a Costco Roast Chicken, don't buy it in Clovis. Buy it at the North Fresno Costco instead. You'll be happy you did.

We have been a member since 2011 and you can find great prices for bulk items and sometimes clothes plus shoes. We've also have gotten great deals for restaurants and vacations. They just got self checkout at this Costco by river park and it's really made it easier. Membership runs from $60-$120 for a year and you get two cards one for you and another person. The funny part is our most favorite part is the food court! Now that it's back open this food court is still offering the amazing hot dogs with a drink $1.50 which you can't beat, pizza ($2-$10) and the chicken bake($2.99)

My favorite place to shop The employees are helpful and gracious Their products are the best! Someone said IF COSTCO DOES NOT HAVE IT YOU DON'T NEED IT Truly everything I buy and including diamonds I can fully trust - prices and quality. I got a replacement COSTCO CITI card in less than 24 hours FedEx - so pleased with their excellent service.

This Costco has the best customer service. Came here with my arms full in post-holiday returns. I had a blanket, some windshield wipers, and an immersion blender in one arm, and a jacket and a thermal in another arm. I quickly ran from my car to the return line at Costco, when I finally had to put down my immersion blender to let my arms rest. As soon as I was called up, Quinton saw all the items I had (I must have looked like a yard sale with all the miscellaneous items i had on me), and ran from behind the counter, to help me carry all my items to the counter. WOW. Excellent service. Pro tip: samples are back!

Do not buy milk here. We purchased 4 gallons of milk, 2 boxes, with expiration date of Dec 22. All bad by Dec 17th with things floating in it. This was just a few days after purchase.

I have been going to the pharmacy at this Costco since they opened. The people there are professional and helpful. I have recommended them to many of my clients. No more! It was the first day of a new mask mandate in California. Many thousands of people went to this store the day before with no mask. You do not have to be a member of Costco to use their pharmacy. However I get tired of explaining that to the people at the front and some days I'm not in the mood to fight with them. This time I pulled out my card and walked right in. On a side note - I have been trained by Costco and they tell employees they MUST insist on seeing the card upon entry because "it makes customers feel important". It's d*** that you have to show it to get in because you can't check out without one - except at the pharmacy. This rule is a pre-Internet rule. It's not like their prices are some secret that non members are going in to reveal to the world. So, back to the story. Im at the pharmacy counter and this Costco employee who looks like uncle fester with horn rimmed glasses is running up to me screaming "sir, sir, sir"! He's very confrontational and caught me off guard, coming at me from the back. I might have called him a dick. He was upset with me for not having a mask. I tried to explain to him my situation and the rules as they were explained on the news regarding counties and their rules vs state mandates. The pharmacy tech was about to ring me up. This guy tells her "that's it, put his prescriptions back! ...and get his membership number!" I took my card out and showed him my number. He didn't want to see it and went running for his boss. So I put my mask on and left, noting an employee not masked on my way out while wondering how they even let me in if they care that much. I called the regional headquarters and was told the name of the store GM. They said ask someone at the front with a walkie talkie and she (the GM) would come up and escort me to the pharmacy if I was worried about this rogue employee. I chose to transfer my 4 prescriptions to a different Costco. Problem is one of them expired the day before I was picking them up, so while it was filled on time and they could have dispensed it to me, once I asked to pick them up at a different store, they could not fill it. Now I have to go to the doctor 90 days early and spend a bunch of money to get a refill on a prescription that's been dispensed to us for five years! There is no reason Costco should have a guy like this working for them. There is no excuse for them to treat customers this way. Some l**** guy like this employee should not be able to prevent the pharmacist from handing me the prescriptions that were already filled.

We don’t always know how much we help each other. We might just be doing what we normally like to do. A great example is Bruce Addison. My truck’s battery, luckily purchased at Costco, failed while in line for gas at Costco! The gas attendant, Bruce, jumped in to help me in every way. He pushed my big old truck to the side, brought me tools and a cart to bring my battery in for exchange. Thanks to Samuel in the tire section, I was out the door for only one dollar paid to the state. Bruce then helped me install the new battery and I was on my way. He even shared some safety tips for the install that I didn’t know. Thank you Bruce Addison at the Costco on Bradshaw in Fresno. You are my hero and you made my day blessed. What could have been a real challenge was transformed into a joyful experience. Thank you Bruce!!

Costco it's self in general is awesome. Usually associates are some what kind at least greet you at check out. Not today, I had Jenny as my cashier, I went to show her my membership card on my phone and she didn't even acknowledge me she stayed in her conversation. Once her conversation was over she got her scanner to scan my card. Still no greetings but very deep in her conversation with her coworker. Scanning my items she points out that I forgot to grab a muffin tray (2 for 1) I asked if she can have someone grab us one, she said no. I've been to Costco multiple times where such incidents happen to where we forget something and someone has always been kind enough to grab it for us. Jenny said no you have to, so I went. I come back Jenny is writing something (I later find out it was my membership number) still just having me wait till she prompts her pin pad for my payment. I put in my pin wrong, from being so ir rated at this whole situation. She doesn't clear it so I can re-enter my pin telling me I can do it myself. Mind blown. She than demands my membership card I tell her no you can get a manager and I'll happily show him/her. She YELLS for her manager, no one comes. I get my receipt and go to the side and at that point I still haven't seen a manager so I proceed to leave. The worst experience, Jenny for being 10 am you would think to still be cheerful and excited to work. Do better Jenny, do better.
