Curves Fresno Mission Village is a great place to work out and connect with other women. The facilities are always clean and in good condition. Sharon Hall, the owner, bends over backwards to introduce newcomers to the Old Guard, making them feel welcome right away. All the trainers are competent and helpful, but they are part of "us" as well. We are a family, working together to support one another and stay healthy.

So far, so good! I've been looking for a gym that I would be comfortable at. Curves seems to fit that bill. It's for women only, so no sweaty 30 somethings trying to show off their abs and triceps. Lol. It's a small location, circuit training...a workout that takes about 30 minutes or so to complete. Curves is for women of all ages, young or old. All the employees I've interacted with have been super nice and very helpful. Nice members, too. No judging at Curves. You do you! A bonus is that they accept "SilverSneakers", my new health insurance now that I am officially old. No out of pocket $$ at all for me, my monthly fee is completely covered!

This is my first ever challenge with the Camp Transformation Center. First, i was just receiving their messages if i wanted to join the challenge and i was like well I'm wasn't so sure about it. But February of 2019 i committed myself to it and it had changed my life. This is why the camp transformation change my life because i work out often i was eating healthy and i felt good about eating. Also the compliments i received when telling people i have a healthy lifestyle. The challenging part about this was that you life style changes from what you eat and everything else. I am a Mexican i love to eat tacos and Mexican food, this one of the hardest thing because i wasn't able to eat and it was hard but the camp supported a lot with their everyday inspiration notes and pushing us to succeed. All of the staff member are beginner friendly! At times it was hard for me to use the equipments properly so Lucia, Amy, Rhonda, Marizol, Vicky, Paul, Britney and all the staff that helped me through this journey. Paul was super helpful whenever I was doing my homework and I was probably not doing ya properly he would come teach me. So big shout out to all the camp team! I am very proud of what I have accomplished within this six weeks because it was thanks to the camp who supported all their team. It is really a family there! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to be healthier get a nicer shape, or whatever the reason this is the best place to go to!
