I would give 0 stars if available. DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL GET SICK!!!! The food is not held at proper temperatures under the heating lamp. The noodles tasted slimey and were not your typical Chow Mein...the Orange chicken i got with my "Combo A" tasted almost freezer burnt. It was a very weird texture. I ordered two of these entrees, one for me and one for my girlfriend. Ran a little under $30 out the door. DEFINITEY NOT!!!! Read the other reviews!! Please! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The little young chick at the register was so sweet but maybe that's what they need to stay open so you don't think anything is up....

Work down the street, always enjoy food here but the first time I ever shrimp wonton soup, I got veggie soup instead, only 2 wontons in my soup and my co worker all sat and watched me try to find the wontons. Disappointed

The food was disgusting, and the service was horrible. I have never been to a food place that has treated their customers poorly, I would like to firstly start off that this place is racist and the workers were shit talking!, they had said the most vulgar things about me calling me Mexican slurs. second off the food was bad I had found hair in my food I took a bite into my meal and I felt something strands in my mouth it was a piece of couple of hairs. I will NEVER come here again this place is horrible and disgusting!!!

Food- was not fresh. Also had over cooked rice. Scale 0 stars for food. Service- very nice young lady. Didn't. Scoff at my disgust but did suggest what would be a much fresher choice. Scale of 2 stars for service.Ambiance- deserted. However, in any defense they just opened 30 minutes prior to my arrival which is one reason I say 0 stars for food. No reason it should not be fresh.

So I live and work nearby and I wanted some quick Chinese food. I don't know why after all my bad experiences I keep giving this place a shot. I guess I'm just a pushover. I'm gonna skip all the bs n get straight to the point. The rice was a giant glob that had food coloring or soy sauce on the outside. As soon as I took a forkful the inside was pure white. The chow menu tasted like I was slurping water and everything had a fish taste. I guess they use a lot of fish sauce. When I asked the owner if I could exchange the glob of rice for more water noodles she yelled at me and told me that I already ate it which I did take a bite and when I had her touch the rice to show her how almost fridge cold it was she yelled at me and told me to leave. Craziest experience ever. Wow I don't know how this dump is still open. Please do not go there. I wouldn't eat there if it was free. Also she charged me $12.99 instead of $11.99 for the 2 side plate which I didn't mention to her but whatever. Last time I will even glance at that place. Horrible food, experience and owner

Minus -100... worst place ever. I would thinks that after a year it would get better. Seems like they just don't use seasoning for anything. It was either bland or over cooked. At these price you should just spend the xtra bucks and go to a nice restaurant. What is happening to good cooks and loving the flavor. Would you pay for what you cook??? I am very curious on this question. Never again to this place. This city has better options.

If gooey chow mein and bland fried rice is your thing, then you've come to the right place. The entrees are hit or miss - depending on the day of the week. The BBQ pork is always day old and fatty, and the orange chicken will send you to CRMC with a quickness.

This place peeked my interest when I was in Fulton area and saw it was packed. It was ok. They have the Chinese food basics in trays under warming lights. The price point is very affordable. I couldn't enjoy the chowmein, it had a strong fishy smell, and I just couldn't get past it. Not sure if it was a rare issue or if that's their recipe. I really liked the fried rice. Orange chicken, kung pao chicken, egg rolls were all ok. Glad to support a local place in town. I would give it another chance, maybe it would be better if I would have gone at a busier time versus when I went at the end of a dead Sunday.

Great place! Owner was super nice and offered us samples. They've been here for 25 years and going. $27 for 2 combos 2, 2 waters and a soda. Will definitely come back!

I've tried this place twice and 2 different dates. The lady is very nice, however the food is very very bad and actually kinda of expensive. I felt physically sick after my meal and they don't give water cups. Do not get the orange chicken or teriyaki both are mushy dry and greasy. Most customers were ordering the black bean dish, maybe that is good but the other stuff I know if bad from personal experience. I feel bad for posting this but the quality of the food was that bad.

I recommend this place if your in the area but other then that go to a nicer place to eat. Orange chicken was really crunchy and tasted real orange-y . Egg rolls were better then I was expecting. Besides the flys they have inside and bugging you while eat. Place is ok.

The only thing I enjoy about this place is the chow mein but sometimes even the chow mein taste really greasy and old. So I go here often and today I went in order 3 combo B which are 10.99 each yet when they serve the food they serve very small portions nothing worth what I'm paying for I come from LA and the Chinese food out there is 100 times better and they over fill your plate for only 7.99 same combos chow mein rice and 3 sides yet I get more for less money. They owner she's very rude I asked her to add more Chow mein because it wasn't even filled up and she's like would you like to up size your combo which is another $3 I was like no I just want what I'm paying for 10.99 is way to much. There very stingy when it comes to there food and to top it off the teriyaki chicken burnt real bad taste old the orange chicken to gooey and the red meat taste like it's raw. Overall this use to be my favorite spot but the way I was laughed at by the owner today I won't be returning.

The food is served fresh and warm, they are generous with the portions too. The owner and the workers are very kind. Check them out, great food and service. Quality has improved since the ownership traded hands (7-8 years ago?) .

Was not in the best part of downtown Fresno today. Wanted a really good bowl of hot soup as it was a tad chilly outside. China Express was 100 feet from my car, made sense. The nice lady at the counter recommended the wonton soup with shrimp. Made sure I realized the $9.99 include rice. 5 minutes go by and she hands me a massive container of soup/rice. I sit down outside and open my lunch. To my surprise there is a half of lime atop. Obviously China Express appeals to a Latino audience whom wants lime and rice. I get it. Bottom line is this was one of the best bowls of wonton soup I ever had. This was a totally unexpected surprise. All of the vegetables were fresh with flawless texture, the shrimp were delicious. I could not stop eating it. The folks working here were very nice to us. The food items in their buffet case looked quite good. I will definitely return.
