DO NOT DO MANAGER SPECIALS! you will get stuck with an electric car and it will ruin your trip. In the town I went to, I drove around for 3-4 hours looking for a charging station. When I called in they told me to bring it in and exchange it. When i got to the airport location the manager offered no help, was rude, and told me he'd only be able to get me another electric. Terrible customer service. COMPLETELY RUINED MY TRIP!!!

Terrible experience returning the SUV I rented. The man behind the counter was aggressive and extremely rude. He told me the "computer read" that the gas tank was only 75% full upon return. I let him know that it was much more than 75% but likely slightly under 100% full tank. I requested that someone please manually check the fuel since there was a discrepancy. He blatantly refused, told me they only go by what the computer says, and I can pay an extra $60 or leave the airport and get more gas. I did not have enough time to go back to the gas station, and after being talked down to rudely, I started to go to my flight. I realized I had no proof so I went back to the counter and requested to be escorted to the car so I could photograph the fuel gauge for documentation. He said I could go out there and lo and behold, there was an employee out there... checking it manually! I read through every piece of fine print that I was given by the rental company. NOWHERE does it say that if it is less than 100% full, it will be marked as 75% or below. NOWHERE does it say that the computer system will determine the fuel levels. I have already filed an official grievance with the company weeks ago and have not heard back.

If your flight is coming in after 7:00 PM don't use them. Even if you're booked to pick it up at that time they leave early and you can't get a car. One of the other employees at the airport said they do this every night and people are always left stranded. DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE A LATE ARRIVAL THEY WILL NOT BE THERE.

Rented a car for 11am and was told I had to wait till 3pm once I arrived to pickup. They also where closed and I had to go to Hertz for the reservation. Sooo.... I had to sit in the lobby for 4 hours? Omg!

*DO NOT ACCEPT AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE IF YOU ARE GOING TO SEQUOIA*They will offer you an electric vehicle and insist that in California there are EV charging stations everywhere and it will only take 20 minutes to charge. This is a blatant lie. A large majority of travel to Fresno is to commute to national parks and we realized on the back end of our trip that Kings Canyon and especially Sequoia is so sparse on EV chargers that we would have a hard if not impossible task of making it back to the airport after traveling through the parks. This has made our trip a logistic nightmare as we have to plan entirely around where EV Stations are and then spend OVER AN HOUR charging our vehicle every day. Please do yourself a favor and use another rental company or at the very least DO NOT ACCEPT AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE.

Seriously the worst place. From the workers to the difficulty of just getting our reservation. It was horrible. Please pick a better place. The money “saved” is not worth it.

I am so upset and hurt at the same time. I had to drive over an hour away to Fresno,CA. to get to the nearest car rental place to the city I live in. I scheduled a rental car early this morning to obtain a vehicle so I can drive to a job I have in Southern California. I read all of the fine print and everything purposely to make sure there will be no issues. So i arrived at the Dollar car Rental and was assisted by an attendant name Heather. In a condescending voice she says "I need your Driver License & Credit card" I gladly provided that. She then says "Oh, well since you are renting an SUV and reserved it within 24 hours you will have to wait 4 hours to get a vehicle" what? I thought to myself. That doesn't make sense. So be it that she already seemed bothered and argumentative As well as she openly demonized and ridiculed Priceline blaming the issue on the fact that I used a third party company to make reservations. I requested to speak with the manager she glares at me with a devilish smirk and advises "they are going to tell you the same thing" I responded "that's fine may I see the manager?" She pauses and blurts "the manager is in the back washing cars so it'll be 45 minutes to talk to the manager." I asked for the managers name and she points at the board behind her that shows an email address only. No phone number, just an email. So I wrote down the information and left sad. It's so not fair because I I'm 5'11 1/2 430lbs and Black so of course I have no options, if I spoke my mind then I'd be labeled as the " Big Angry Black man" and if I waited I would have missed making it to my event in Southern California. So this here "yelp" is my outlet and hopefully my justice.

Chick behind the counter is rude as hell, will never rent through them again. Waited 2 hours for our car just to keep hearing her say you can upgrade to an suv. NOT very professional and rude at its finest!!!! Stay away from this joke show

I rented a car from this location last week from Wednesday to Sunday. It’s my second time this year and I had a very pleasant experience both times. The front desk staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Will rent from them again if I return to Fresno

Slimy, unethical company. Ended up needing a car for only 2 out of the 3 days. no refund or credit issued for early return. When I first picked up the car, I was wondering why they wouldn't accept my PayPal Mastercard. Then after we returned from our trip a day earlier than anticipated and they said "We'd be happy to take the car back from you early, but we're still going to charge you for all of the days", it clicked: Buyer protection on Paypal credit purchases. That's why they won't accept it. So that you don't have a recourse for getting screwed on their shady policies. Beware of Dollar and Hertz (who owns Dollar Rent a Car). They're the glaring example of all of the predatory, anti-customer and unfriendly business practices you hear about with car rental companies.If you can avoid giving money to them, I would recommend it at all costs. They will find a way to Nickle and dime you with hidden fees and ridiculous clauses. Predatory and unrepentant about taking as much of your money as they possibly can.

I will never rent from this company ever again. They charged me TWICE! When I went to pick up my car, they charged me an extra $400 on top of the $500 that I had already paid online. In the store they told they told me that the $500 would be refunded back to me and I would only be charged the $400. When I called to check on the refund, they refused to give it to me and stated that it was my fault when I SPECFICALLY asked the guy at the counter if I would be getting a refund and he said "yes". Don't trust them and DEFENITELY don't rent from them. I am now having to go through my bank to see if I can get the money back.

If I could have gave him zero Stars I would have I had a reservation March 11th called them three times it's March 31st and I still haven't got my money back worst place ever do not rent a car from them!!!!Here I am April 7th calling again because THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED ME?!
