Fresno City has associate degree programs, certificate programs, and vocational programs. You can also take classes for personal or career enrichment. Accommodations are available for disabled students. There are clubs, groups, and activities. The Tutoring Center and library have extended hours. Instructors are knowledgeable in their fields. I earned an AS in Paralegal Studies and a Paralegal Certificate, taking legal secretary, business technology (computer), and communication courses. Many classes are hybrid or online. Others are in person. The school also has different types of counseling for planning your educational and career goals and health needs. The Ram Pantry is a food bank for current students. I made many friends and networking contacts at Fresno City and still remain active as an alumna with the Student Paralegal Association (SPA).

I went yesterday to look for a book I thought I needed for a diesel class. The staff was very sweet, I purchased online and received a message my order was ready. So I informed the gal and she went to hunt down this book. She returned and read it’s just online access she spent some time looking for it. It was kinda funny and still worth the trip. I’ve been taking classes here since I was 17. Even though I have a degree I still enjoy learning new things and the bookstore brings me happiness. I guess it’s the memories and the stationary. I do miss the Japanese restaurant they had inside. Now they have a school pantry. Times are tough.

Do not use the scan app in the store to see what books you need it's not accurate and you won't get a refund pass the time line even if it was their app that showed you needed it. Just took 140. from me cuz I got a book I didn't need that their app said that I did.Get your books early if you want used or rented

My son started FCC with great hopes. His major was mechanical engineering. His Academic Counselor told us that despite him having college credits during his high school years those credits wouldn't help him. All those units were dashed away. After the second year, my son hasn't finished his AA. He told me his Counselor has worked with him so that he'll get 4 AA degrees after the 3rd year. I did some research and asked a good friend who is a professor at FCC. We found that FCC's Counselor's job was to keep the student there as long as possible to milk them for tuition money. The Counselor eventually relocated to a new position. My son eventually graduated after his 3rd year with 4 AA degree which doesn't make sense and a waste of money. Because I have to pay for his tuition, i feel FCC did a dis-service to my son. Thus the reason for 1 stat review. Becareful with the academic Counselor, they will milk you for money.

Fresno Asian Fest held on the College Campus every year! This is an excellent event with many food and beverage vendors as well as information booths and Anime everywhere. Many people even dressed which was very cool. My husband and I look forward to attending this well organized event each year and give Kudos to all that give of their time and talents to provide this amazing event for our community. Our grandkids couldn't join us this year but if they did they could have enjoyed the Kids Zone in the Cafeteria. We picked in and it looked like lots of kids were having fun.The entertainment on stage was top notch! Lots of children and adults alike sharing their talents. The tents and tables are right in front of the stage and provided an excellent place to enjoy a delicious lunch. The food and beverage prices are reasonable.

My daughter and I attend Fresno City College. She is on campus, and I mainly need to do online since I am starting Asap Cakes LLC and getting my Business Administration Management Degree. ?So I surprised my daughter with this sweater. She says the material is great and the sweater is very comfortable. There is also an online store if you can not visit in person.Sometimes, the campus squirrels scare me like they want something from me. It's possible since they watch your every move, lol.

worst college experience I have ever had. I have previously been to 2 other colleges before this and I cant wrap my head around how lazy Fresno City's staff is. The teachers are the only ones who care to help you with anything! the business office cant seem to help you and makes you feel like you have interrupted their favorite tv show or meal. The counselors don't want to help you at all, they say for you to figure it out and just passing the buck to other staff just for you to get the answer "I don't know" then they send you to someone else again and again. Eventually you will arrive with "oh the person you need is in a meeting" then your handed a card to start at the beginning of the pass around the next day. Just the laziest people I have ever encounter for people who are suppose to be helping you around their programs. you are required to give them your previous college transcripts but you have to do some digging to see if your credits are equivalent to theirs, they DONT KNOW!! it honestly amazed me the last 3 days how many people don't know how to do THEIR job. Colleges are expected to help us get careers and jobs but they cant even do theirs or worse don't want to put in any effort. The teachers are the only ones with any work ethic and that's probably because they have actual jobs and teaching on the side. 20-30 thousand dollars in financial aid is a lot, make it worth it. If you have other options for a college to attend, I would recommend going anywhere else.

Closing the store at 5 instead of 6 has made it that much harder for working students to make it to the bookstore before it closes. I showed up 10 mins before closing after having to leave work early to make it here and I was scowled at by the young girl in the front. She had such an ugly attitude, she cut me off when I was trying to explain to her that I had no internet connection in the building and insisted I find my order number. After 5 minutes of my attempts to load my personal email on my phone she huffed and walked away instructing the other young lady to assist me. She was actually helpful and looked up my order by last name on the computer. That's what real customer service is and the first woman I interacted with should not be in customer service if that's the way she acts with all customers. Grow up and do your job.

Every semester it's as if there isn't enough books available for students. I've always had to order them online from another source. Only other downside is that they only have two cashiers so the line gets crazy long sometimes.
