I can't believe the bad reviews!!! My experience was superb, no waiting, ready for me and prepared and professional!! Jessica, the young lady that fitted me with my CPAP was knowledgeable and sympathetic with my apprehensions. She was a wonderful professional and I can't thank her enough!! Please don't let the negative reviews sway you. She knows her stuff!! Thanks again.

I am a little person. 4'5"...weigh 94 lbs. Went in ... they fit me with a mask too large... back in... they change it for another mask set up in adult med.. that mask is too big. My Dr tells them I need adult xtra small or pediatric yourth sized mask. They tell us.... THEY DO NOT EXIST! I had back surgery in SEPT 22... sleep study Dec 22. They didn't get me a machine and 1st mask until Feb. Through all the mess... they didn't get me an adult size small mask until end of March..... It didn't fit .... the only way I could get it to not leak everywhere (like the rest) was to lay flat on my back in one position.... which caused me extreme pain. I get a call from them in May saying that Medicare will no longer pay for the "rental" of my unit because I am not using is 70 PERCENT of the time.... THEY DIDN'T EVEN GIVE ME ANY MASK TO FIT EVEN HALFWAY until March!! They demanded I return it or pay $1400 for it. THEY LIED TO MEDICARE ON A 3 WAY CALL ON A RECORDED LINE with me telling them that MASKS IN ADULT XTRA SMALL DO NOT EXIST. I went to Valley Childrens Hospital and spoke with the Head of the Respiratory Department who looked at me and gave me a list of masks and equipment that would fit. and YES THEY DO EXIST! I had to do another sleep study and was provided with an EXTRA SMALL MASK...WHICH FITS PERFECTLY!!!I FINALLY HAVE EQUIPTMENT AND A PROPERLY FITTED MASK..... I've used it 2 days now and have 18 hours of SOLID sleep!!! I FINALLY AM FEELING NORMAL AGAIN... I can sleep on my side or in any position - amazing what the correct mask will allow you to do!HIGH DESERT STAFF is INCOMPETENT.... to tell me that masks for a Cpap or BPap machine do not exist in adult xsmall or for pediatric patient.... it is a complete LIE!! They caused me undue amounts of pain and suffering.... for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON!!WHATEVER YOU DO.... HEED ALL THE WARNINGS POSTED HERE. We are real people. I am a RETIRED RN .... I'm not some idiot who just trusted them. I was caught because they took my credit card info when they took my machine to bill me if I didn't use it. FUNNY.... LINCARE DOESN'T DO THAT AT ALL!!! So if you need Medical Equipment.... please call LINCARE. They ARE PROFESSIONALS WHO ACTUALLY CARE!

I have been using CPACs for the last 20+ years but this last two months, with a new machine from High Desert has been the most difficult. I continue to have problems getting the mask to seal so that I can sleep and blame High Desert's poor customer service for delays in getting replacement product and in making adjustments to the equipment. I find them argumentative, unwilling to listen, and uncaring that they are effecting my sleep.

i have a rx to use oxygen. however my machine began malfunctioning, so i called them. no one ion office so left message. been playing phone tag for 5 weeks. meajnwyhile 9in am without 0oxygehn.

These people took advantage of my 95 year old mother with COPD. They charged her $150 a month for a portable oxygen tank for months and said she needed a stress test to get medicare to pay. I talked to medicare and her supplemental insurance provider and they said they have no rules- only the doctor. Her doctor said he put notes on her account stating she didn't need a stress test but needed oxygen 24/7. Her caretaker called this company and they still refused to bill insurance/medicare. I called them again and he tried to give me a new story about a different test regarding oxygen levels. Her lung doctor has established she has severe COPD!!! I told he has no right to make a medical diagnosis- ugh. They are probably double billing - or just make more money by taking advantage of the elderly. Wrong!!!! Stay away from this company. I will report them to every agency I can that takes advantage of the elderly

Their telephone customer service is non-existent. They NEVER return phone calls. If you need to resolve an issue, you have to go into the store. Their in-person customer support is very good, but half the time the person who I needed to speak with is working somewhere else. I work, so I have to take time off of work to go into the office. And they are closed during my lunch period, so I have to either take vacation or go with pay for the time I have to go in.

I've called two days in a row and left message for call back. I never received a phone call back to address my concerns about my cpap machine.

This company is less than professional with billing and trying to get someone to answer the phone is even worse. You will call and leave voicemails and never receive a call back. Would not recommend.

They dropped the ball on OXYGEN! My 90 year old Mom had a new order by a Doctor to receive oxygen on Tuesday and on the following week she still had no oxygen. I called several times and they are difficult to reach. Finally when I did reach someone a week and a day later I was told they hadn't processed the order and instead of following up with the Doctor or Medicare they SAT ON IT. After reaching out to the Doctors office I was told by the Doctors office this company was hard to reach. For the life of me I don't understand why any business, person, Doctor or Doctors office would use this company or how this company stays in business. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

The Philip's Respironics machine I use helps me sleep better. However, getting the necessary supplies from High Desert is a continuing frustration. If it weren't for medical insurance, these people would never be able to stay in business.
