Horrible customer service. I've been calling for over a week, leaving voicemails and never received anything back. Had to request to speak to a manager (Amy) just to get simple questions answered. Had to leave another voicemail to get my car scheduled for a service that I probably won't get a call back for. Don't bother getting any of the warranties they offer on the cars since they aren't helpful in being proactive to get them fixed . Would not recommend this dealership. 0/5

I brought my vehicle to Clawson Honda for the first time on October 12 for a basic oil change & tire rotation service. I had only been having my Honda serviced at another dealer in the area, but my last visit with that dealer was disappointing, so I thought I would give Clawson a try for my next service. They offer an afternoon oil change special and they are located pretty close to where I work. I even let the staff know it was my first time there. The majority of my first visit went pretty well. I had pointed out a couple of body pieces that were showing some premature wear, and the advisor ordered them to be replaced under warranty. Other than letting me know I would be needing to replace my tires soon, which I was expecting, I was told everything else looked good. I knew going in that day that I had a burned out right side fog lamp, but nothing was mentioned about it even though their multi-point inspection says that they check all exterior lights. I just figured I would mention it on the next visit when I returned to have the warranty parts replaced since they would be working on that area.I retuned the following Thursday to have the warranty work performed. I mentioned the burned out fog lamp and that it was not indicated on the previous visit, and was told they would "take a look at it". I got a call a few hours later that my car was ready. The advisor told me over the phone that they noticed some corrosion on my battery. He said they normally charge for the service but did it for me at no charge. I was told a week earlier that my battery was in good shape, nothing was said about any corrosion. My car is still within the 3 year/36K factory warranty, why would I be charged to clean up the battery? Also, why did my paperwork from my oil change visit say that my battery was cleaned & sprayed with protectant? My burned out fog lamp was never mentioned, even after I asked about it. The multi-point on my second visit also indicated that my tires gained 2mm of tread depth since my last visit, which tells me that the form was basically "pencil-whipped". I used my own gauge to measure, and the number on the first visit was in fact correct. I was given tire quotes on my fist visit as well, and one of the tires quoted wasn't even the correct size for my car.I had to come on my lunch break to pick up the car from the second visit. When I arrived, my advisor was with another customer, but instead of having me wait to go over my service, I was waved over to the cashier desk and told it was done. No one came to the vehicle with me to go over the work that was done or see if I had any questions. I waited easily 10 minutes or more for my car to be brought up. Another customer was waiting as well and was telling me she had been waiting over 45 minutes for her car to be brought up. As I waited, I was reviewing my paperwork, and there was a comment from the tech about a small crack found on my bumper "before" the work was started on that side. Again, no one said anything to me about this, and I honestly don't know what crack they're talking about, even after washing it I can't see anything. My car was by no means clean when I brought it in, but the areas worked on were covered in dusty fingerprints. One of the parts replaced is in worse shape than when I asked to have it fixed.I just want to mention that I have worked in automotive parts & service for 23 years. I understand the challenges of working in this industry, so I do try to have some extra patience and understanding if things don't go 100% smoothly, but Clawson missed the mark with a new customer on basic service fundamentals & communication with customers. There was no follow up, no opportunity for a survey, no contact info on the paperwork or website regarding reviews other than this one that leads to Google. Very disappointing first visit to this dealer, I will not be returning.

Absolutely ridiculous. We came in and waited an hour to test drive a specific truck. We test drove it, sat down to talk numbers, started signing papers for credit checks, they took our keys to appraise our trade in and we see another sales person drive up with our car that they sold to someone who test drove it AFTER us. We had been there first! We drove the car first! We were there specifically for that truck, we had actually come in twice to look at it. The first time it was still in the shop and wasn't ready. They literally sold the car from right out from under us. We had been there for THREE HOURS. specifically for that truck. Horrible business, should be first come first serve. We have stellar credit, had 6k to put down plus a trade in. Will be taking our business elsewhere.

I did end up going back to Honda and bought a car all thanks Leslie. She immediately came out to speak with me and overall she was very polite. I had a family member meet me at the dealership and they weren't even acknowledged by the men standing at the door. Overall if you buy a car here I highly recommend Leslie:)

I took in my car for a oil change by appointment at 10:30 am and I was advised to do a brake fluid service, so the total was over $400.00 and they gave me my car after 2:15 pm, don’t recommend to anyone!!!!

I've always came to Clawson for my services. I had a really bad day today where my car battery died and I had to leave work to replace it. Then my car screen wouldn't turn on so I drove all the way here. Within 2 secs of being there I was told I wouldn't be seen because I didn't have an appointment. They sent me away. I went online and made an appt for only 35 mins later. I don't see what the issue was if I was willing to wait there. Just really needed my car to be seen! I was really disappointed today to say the least. Zero customer service. Wasn't willing to go inside or look at a computer. Obviously they have time if they have appts available that soon.UPDATE: I was at the dealership and Matt Roberts came to speak with me while I was waiting for my car and resolved the issue I had when I first went there. He spoke to the appropriate staff to make sure no customer is ever sent away without being helped especially under unforeseen circumstances. I'm more than happy with the service I was provided and my wait time being reduced as well. Lovely customer service to resolve the issue. Happy to say I will continue taking my car for maintenance at Clawson.

My 2019 CRV had a droopy sun visor so I bought an overpriced replacement visor from the service department. The gals at the counter were nice (only reason this is a two star). However, they wouldn't just swap out my sun visor real quick. I paid over $100 and aftermarket ones online sell for $40'ish. I'm happy to pay more to have it factory brand, however you'd hope that an overpriced dealer buy would come w some helpfulness. This is a car that is still has warranty coverage but sun visors are supposedly not covered they told me.I just went through a really difficult swap out myself and I don't think it's quite right. This leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. Honda spends hundreds of millions of dollars advertising their friendly Honda approach, but they won't help out with a quick visor swap. Terrible!

My boyfriend leased a car here a few years ago and when the lease was up he decided to buy it. They pressed him HARD on selling the car back to them instead of buying it. They tried to sell him a new car multiple times even though he stated he was there to buy the car. We get it, there was a car shortage but after the third time asking it gets annoying. They gave him a crappy rate even though he has good credit. If I remember right, it was pushing 6%. They told us no other place is going to have a cheaper rate for him and that if we wanted to use our own financing they would have to add on $5,000 worth of warranties and accessories minimum. We just left and took the amount we owed for the car to a credit union and they gave him a 1.9% rate. They paid Honda and we didn't have to deal with the "mandatory" $5k in warranties and accessories. Also, I have absolutely NO idea why it takes so long to get your car serviced here. It is literally torture. Make an appointment, come in, and wait 4 hours for your oil to be changed. The only reason for the second star is our leasing experience was really chill and quick. The guy did not care what the terms were and asked his manager for whatever we wanted. No pressure to jump into a lease or buy.

I was trying to get information on a vehicle and about my trade in. Two different people had contacted me, but no one got back to me on anything. Well, now I will not be shopping here.

Keanu provided exceptional customer service. He came to find me, I was waiting for the car in the lobby, suggested maintenance, and showed me the air filters that needed replacement. After the vehicle was completed, he came to find me again to show me the detailed work completed on the vehicle. Service was much faster than other manufacturers' service.
