“This liquor store has improved a lot since it got new management. It now has a wider selection of wines, spirits, and craft beers. The store is more organized and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and ready to help. They genuinely want to make your shopping experience better. If you haven't visited lately, it's worth a trip!”

“First time visiting Old Doc's. Sunny was very welcoming and friendly. Nice selection of whiskey and bourbon. Has fair prices on allocated bottles. Picked up a Stagg for myself and Elmer T Lee to gift to my son for his birthday. Definitely recommend Old Doc's.”

Do be aware tho that alot of people do come here because of the welcoming workers. Other than that I have no complaints.”
“Me and my brother have been going here for about 10 years now for cigarettes and various snacks and drinks. The owner is an older man that everyone calls Bubba, he is soft spoken and very nice. He treats everyone with respect and greets you everytime you enter. He has an employee named Shaun. He is also a very nice man, and works very hard. They are both honest men that work all day to keep their store in great order. Their food is never out of date and the store is always clean. They have great parking and are just overall good people. I hope this review helps because I truly mean what I say. Have a nice day.”

“Nicks Café is a wonderful treasure. Tucked into Sam’s deli which has been a Fresno staple for decades. The food is creative and delicious. So nice to have some thing a little different to tickle the taste buds. Our waitress Ashlie gave us wonderful service and suggested a few great dishes. I was able to taste a couple of wines before I settled on a delicious Moscato from Merced. The wine maître d’ is extremely knowledgeable. You will definitely find something you like in their large selections of wines. Highly recommend this place. I know we will be returning many times in the future. Oh and the cannolis were out of this world! Great way to end the meal. Prices are reasonable. A great deal for the quality of food you receive. I don’t know about everybody else but I’m tired of paying top dollar for mediocre food. You will not be disappointed at Nicks Café.”
“Employees have always been very nice to me. I carry a lot of Change due to my job. This is one of the few places in town who never get attitude when I pay with change, they are patient and helpful. Sometimes they ask if I have some more change to trade in for bills. They are a little pricey on some items and people who loiter are a little rough. But look where they are located. Considering the logistics they are doing pretty good in my book.”

“This place is very clean especially for the area that it's in they take pride in this store which I appreciate they have a guy leaf blow the parking lot at night and pick up trash they clean the floor rugs at the entrance every day and it really makes a difference. They are very friendly and I always feel welcome. I like that they stay open late and I really like how the old man sits at the entrance every day observing his what I assume to be grandkids run the store they do a excellent job ringing everyone up efficiently. Oh I need to mention I love the cheap little toys they have avaliable my son and his friend, and I look forward to picking out a toy here. For liquor store toys, they really have a good classic collection to pick from ranging from 2$ to like 6$. One time, my son wanted army men, and we went to Target, and they did not have them, so we were very disappointed, but we took a last min stop here for cigarettes and candy, and GUESS, WHO HAD THEM? YES, THEY HAD THEM FOR ONLY 2$ my son was so happy I couldn't believe that they had them! They are always fully stocked on everything! Thank you, uncle toms!”

Their alcohol prices and cigarette prices are good, but if you are looking for snacks go somewhere else. $1.50 for a basic Hersey bar is way too much. I can't complain though because I only come here for liquor because there prices are so cheap. Drinks/cigarettes = good price Snacks= $00.50 more than they should”
