Same thing happened to me that someone else mentioned in a recent review. They close whenever they want, never when the time is posted. They told me if they feel it’s slow, they’ll close early. It’s literally painted on the wall, in giant numbers, and on the door, that they close at 10, and last wash is at 9. Multiple times I’ve gone at 8, 8:15, and they’ve already shut the washers down. And a few times I put my clothes, and soap, everything in the washing machine, just for them to shut them down just before I started the cycle, so I’d have to take my soapy clothes out and find another laundromat. One time, I had to run back home quickly for an emergency, while my clothes were washing, I live 1 minute away. I was gone less than 10 minutes, it was around 8:30 when got back they locked everything up and closed, with my clothes inside. They knew I was there, they’d seen me, so they locked up that fast, an hour and a half early?!? And they never answer the phone, as I tried calling. I’ve asked numerous times for the owners number or when I could speak to him, and never get an answer. I was told they don’t know how to get a hold of him and to try google lol. I don’t believe, his own employees don’t know how to get a hold of him. I wonder if he even knows this stuff happens. With all that said, I understand you’re supposed to stay with your clothes and not leave. However, I’m a regular customer, as I live right around the corner, so they know me, and knew I’d be right back, plus, they weren’t supposed to close for an hour and a a half, and no one said anything to me when I left, that they’d be closing early. But, even then, I’d still go back, because it is so close, and it is a very nice, clean facility, with nice machines. But, the last straw was a month ago, I went in there, I had a lot of laundry, as I have cancer and live alone and had been sick, and unable to do laundry for a while, so it got behind. I was leaving out of town the next day for Thanksgiving, and needed it done, and I’d also had a spinal chemo procedure that morning, so I was really not feeling well and in pain. After I lugged all 5 giant loads down there, in the machines, again with the soap and all, went and loaded $60 on to my card, and went to start starting my laundry loads, and all of the machines, again, “out of order”. The guy working, saw me bringing my stuff in, and putting it in the machines and never said a word to me. I got there at 7:45, I don’t know the exact time I tried to start my washes, but I know it took a few minutes to load my card, figure out what was going on, and find the employee. They’re always hard to find, they’re always in the office with the door rolled Down and closed, which I also don’t understand. But when I finally found and talked to the employee, he told me they closed for the night, what?!?Its posted 9pm last wash, on the wall, and the door. They then just decided to start closing at 8:30 the last year, so I’d make sure to get there before 8, now I have no idea when they close, whenever they decide? Because after looking and taking To the employee, at least 5 minutes or more had passed and it was just then 8:02, so they shut the machines down before 8 even, and I can’t say for sure, but I think he shut them down as I was loading my clothes into the machines. I saw him walk to the back for a few minutes when I was finishing loading the machines, then they were off, so I can only assume. I obviously was upset, and the reason he gave for closing early was because time changed the week prior, what? Daylight savings time doesn’t affect the fact that 8:30 is 8:30. It’s not great business practice, and not too sure it’s even legal to not be open the times you have posted for your business. What really upset me this time was they also refused to give me a refund, and I put $60 on that card. And when I again asked for the owners number, is when I got the runaround that they don’t know how to contact him. It’s very upsetting, I was a loyal customer for 2 years.I’m still waiting to hear from the owner and for my refund.
