The man with the long hair glasses working the morning shift was very unfriendly and unwelcoming made me walk out the door and not buy anything

The checker was very helpful. I chose the wrong type of dog food for my senior dog and she said she would go and get me the right one. Great customer service. She also gave me some helpful/interesting info about why veterinarians push 3 particular brands of dog food (not good ingredients) to their clients. It's because they get kickbacks from those companies.

Update 7/3/24: When I first arrived, she was holding the doors shut, she wouldn't even let me and my wife in right away. It was 7:48and this employee told us the store is closing in two minutes. This employee is always rude. I actually stopped shopping here a year ago due to her unprofessionalism. The store is out of crickets due to lack of care for them. The crickets are all dead. It's not hard to keep crickets alive if you actually tend to them. I'm done shopping here. I used to be a regular for 7 years. But this employee is the reason why I won't return. She needs to focus on her attitude and job before you lose more customers. The store shouldn't be closing early.
Also this employee told me I am not allowed to shop here. What does that even mean? Per California laws, I can shop at any public store. So I would like an explanation as to why she told me I can not shop there. I am have never stolen from this store or anything of the sort. So why is she discriminating against me? Petco, please explain this.

The woman who helped me with my aquatic supplies was so kind and knowledgeable. She really went the extra mile to help me get a good deal and ensure the fish I purchased were healthy and would thrive. Would absolutely come back to this location. Best Petco experience I have ever had, and I’ve been to several frequently due to the needs of my aquariums. Wish I’d gotten her name! Thank you for your help and the wonderful conversation. The plants pictured as well as the Rainbow Fish and Raphael Catfish all came from this location, as did a few others not pictured. They are doing wonderfully in my 260g tank.

Their employees were so rude and spoke to me with so much attitude while I was asking if they had a certain product.This service was extremely disappointing.Tgis Petco had the worst employees I had to ask a few but they all spoke with attitude. I didn't get their names but the rudest had brown hair and was wearing gold ring earrings. I was so disappointed with this service.

I went into this Petco after having a bad experience at the Friant location.
First of all, The woman at the front Shane is rude, and when I asked for help she told me to find someone else that she doesn’t know anything about fish, as I’m asking her this I noticed a dog in a kennel with a blanket over him, I said aw is that you’re puppy she said yes hes her service dog, while I was inside this petco I noticed this dog bark and try to get other dogs while hes sitting in his kennel which made me concerned if I was to ever bring my own dog here. The gentleman in the fish department was excellent, answered all my questions, there was another girl I did not get.her name but she had glasses, she was a sweetheart as well. I’m not sure if i’ll be returning due to what I seen in the 20 minutes I was shopping

I didn't have the best experience. There was only one employee that was helpful. The other two were rude actually. Not welcoming at all. It was pretty expensive. It was clean so that was nice but I don't think that makes up for it. I'd rather go somewhere else for my needs
