Disappointed. I contacted San Joaquin Glass for quotes on frameless shower enclosures for (2) bathrooms... I was greeted with "go online and fill out a form". I explained, I wanted to just deal with a salesperson --(the good ol' fashion way) introduce yourself, discuss/verbally what you are looking for, text over pics of both showers, pics of measurements and request a work-up of frameless options and quotes for each... I was advised again, I could go online and attach pics, fill out a form or email them. ***What happened to companies "wanting" your business, what happened to dealing with actual people, not filling out forms and emailing... What happened to "actual customer service"? This place made me feel like I had to earn "their business"... aren't I the customer??

ordered a window that broke for my house. I payed over $500 and waitied 5 days to get it, and after installing it notice it was made wrong the grid was in the wrong spot.I called them told them what happened and after verifying it with pics they made me the correct glass(another 3 days) ask them since it was their mistake if they can remove the old glass and install the correct one they said no ask if they can compensate me for having to reinstall and remove the old glass which is siliconed in and must be cut out and its on a second story window for the mistake they done they said no!! I should have went to the place in clovis they could have made me the glass same day and not made it wrong never using this place in the future

Only left one star in order to write a review. Poor customer service. The guy who greeted us to start our estimate on one piece of glass we needed repaired for our kitchen cabinet door was very nice. He showed us different examples of glass that they could order from their vendor. My husband and I chose one and waited for the lady behind the counter to make a call to give us an estimate. After several mins of what looked like her just going through documents and not making a call at all, we were told we would get a phone call in a few days with a price and then we could decide if we wanted to proceed from there. 3 months later. Still no call. I noticed in the reviews, there have been other customers who have had poor experiences. This company has been in business for a really long time and maybe they only cater to larger businesses, but I don't feel like they give the same treatment to smaller orders. And if someone from San Joaquin is going to respond, like they did with the other poor reviews on this page, with "it was miscommunication or poor communication", it was obviously done on your part. My husband left his phone number and we never received a call. 3 months is enough time to get back with us with a simple quote. Will not be going back or recommend this business to anyone. In response to your reply: We were told the exact same thing on a follow-up but it never happened. His first name was James, last name initial H. And it was for an estimate on a piece of beveled glass for a single kitchen cabinet door. We came in and my husband was also talking to the gentleman that greeted us about bringing in and how to remove a bathroom window that needed a privacy glass replacement. I'm sure he would remember us. And I don't see the point in giving anymore information when I've already taken my business elsewhere. Your company has been in business for a really long time and I'm not trying to bad mouth or be a "Keren", and perhaps I could of called myself after a few days to do a follow up but, I don't feel like I needed to do that. Maybe your company needs more help with your office staff or my husbands name and phone number got misplaced but after reading the others reviews I felt inclined to give my honest experience so others could decide on wether or not to do business with you. Like I stated in my previous paragraph, other than this unfortunate occurrence, the gentleman that greeted us outside your business was very friendly and knowledgeable. The person in your office wasn't as friendly and seemed like she needed help. Best.

The people here were friendly and fast. I came to have two pieces of glass cut. After the cut they still did not fit in the window. I brought them back to have them cut correctly and had to pay a second time.

Called in for an estimate, was told to submit online. Asked if possible to get quote over the phone? Was told NO, online is the best way. Bad customer service in my opinion

A good respectful business. Gave me very nice fast service as I waited. The gentleman that assisted me in the office and the 1 that cut my glass were very respectful and polite. I went in bummy looking and got same service as the guy dressed up. The glass was cut perfectly to my measurements and fit beautifully when i installed it at reasonable price. I will definitely be back to give this place my business. Thanks guys, keep it up.

Good customer service, good price, and a nice facility.I went here to get a piece of glass cut to the dimensions I needed and will definitely use them in the future. Their staff was friendly and helpful. I didnt have to wait long and the dimensions i requested were exact to cut.

Asked for a quote, was told it'd be $95 just to get someone to look at the window... OR I could email them a picture and wait for a response. One month later and I'm still waiting for a response! Obviously NOT hiring them, they showed a total lack of communication, respect and professionalism. Save your money and time and look elsewhere. This company obviously doesn't care about customer service. Who else charges $95 just for a quote?!! Greedy people, that's who.
