The cashiers are as slow as a turtle, and they only have one or two registers open even when there are a lot of people in line.

I've been going here for years and haven't ever had an issue shopping here. Great environment, clean, super friendly staff. And I LOVE that they started selling fresh sushi and poki bowls! It is so convenient to find so close to home. The chef is super sweet and accommodating if you happen to catch her there when you go in.

Long long lines. Only two registers open, no self check, did I say the lines are long? It’s a major traffic jam trying to get in line. Your frozen food will be defrosted by the time you get to the register. What a mess.

Good selection and an overall nice, clean store. Fresh produce is much better quality than other local grocery chains. I’m giving it three stars because the time to check out is, quite frankly, glacial. There are never self check outs available - presumably because of the number of thieves that patronize this establishment, and the complete abdication of personal responsibility that has been so heartily encouraged by the legislature of this state. There is, usually, only one checkout queue available, despite lines that stretch back into the aisles. It is unacceptable. Three stars.
7.15 Edit: Reduced to one star. It’s 5:50pm. There are two lines open and lines going back to the middle of the aisles in both.

This Save Mart came through again like always. ?Thank you to the bakers that made my cupcakes exactly how I needed them to be. ? They looked cute & were delicious.

We went to three different Save Mart stores and they had no umbrella stands so we went to the one on west and ashland.and they were kind enough to go look and make sure if they had any and they had only one .thank you for looking for us

Good prices great deli. Only complaint is there's never enough cashiers open! Wish they would open self checkout back up but I guess with the area that opens it up to a lot of theft.

Regardless of having some of the highest prices in town I've always come to Savemart. This used to come with a few benefits. Friendly staff, short lines, clean/organized stores, and sanitary restrooms. As of the past couple years there is no benefit. The lines are outrageous pouring into the aisles with only 1 or 2 chashiers working. The staff is overworked and tired, store is a mess, and the restrooms are wrecked. To clarify this is all 3 Savemarts I regularly shop at, not just the West location. This store is no longer worth the higher prices, it's turned into a more expensive Foodmaxx.
