Literally get transferred here (not by choice)from Adventist health with all paperwork, tests, and scans in hand. Only for them to try to say they cannot open the scans etc. This hospital only wants your $. What a scam. Why would fCMC accept us as a transfer when they don't have a bed/room to put us in.Update: amazingly they were able to open the scans and test results only after I said that I would submit to rescans etc with written insurance approval.Update2: the ER nurses are above average to very good in their support. But sheer failure in communication from the DR to patient is almost laughable if it didn't concern life and death topic. Still in the ER .... supposedly we are admitted.... LoL I think..... Supposedly the specialist had 2 hrs to review our imaging, but didn't and did not communicate this to us. We could have sorry should have, driven out of town to a specialist that cares.

The emergency room staff is nothing but trash when treating my friend she was in there 4 days she heard people calling one of the staff by name so she said her name for help the staff member ask her do you know me my friend said no staff member said well then don't put my name in my mouth very rude I myself called ask for a update I was ask my name 4 times then was ask if my friend knows me i said yes the staff said they would have her call me bed side and then just hung up with getting no update and she was still waiting to get a bed would take over a week to get one the staff wouldn't help her turn over because they didn't want hurt their backs this is worse care for humans they give better care to animals at a vet hospital this is why people avoid going here

This facility would be a five star rating if I were rating just the emergency Trauma staff. They are by far the best I have ever experienced. However once in general public the nurses don't seem to care. They didn't put the needle for iv in it was only taped which resulted in the pain meds after major surgery not getting in your system. They left fluids that were coming from the surgery all over me when I asked to come see if ok it took over 4 hours to have them do anything about it. Very poor attention to me.

I came in an ambulance with a broken pelvis after a car accident around 8 am. The trauma team was great! The nurses were funny, polite, and did a great job explaining what was going on. After I was moved from trauma, I was placed on a regular gurney in a hallway for over 30 hours. The gurney was regularly kicked and jostled by people in a hurry going past, which as you can imagine is quite painful when your pelvis is in three pieces. There was 0 privacy and I was essentially naked in the hallway, in eyeshot of someone’s room. If I turned my head to the left I would make eye contact with a complete stranger. I had to have my dad commandeer a privacy partition so I could even try to relax. The night nurse was nowhere to be found when it was time for pain or nausea medication and I had no call button or other way of alerting anyone to any issues. I was told I was being admitted and that I would be in a room in “a few hours” repeatedly. Surprise, never ended up in a room. Did physical therapy out in the open and was discharged from the hallway the next afternoon.

Very bad, there is no privacy in the waiting room, the doctors talk to you, oh you have to explain your things in front of other people, there is no privacy at all, nothing apart from zero empathy from the nurses. Ami, they admitted me to a room and I have already been in the waiting room for 16 hours and spending the night sitting down, they don't give you a sheet, my husband can't go in and I can't go out to grab the blanket that my husband brought me. Because they have me on IV for more than 3 hours, it was very slow that they put me on IV, the truth is I think that at the vet they treat me better than here the nurses do. ZERO empathy on their part.

worst experience ever. went to the emergency room and the doctors were nice. the people at at the entrance sucked. mind u it was my first time being there so i didnt know how everything worked. It took from 10 in the morning till 6 to finish. the doctors treating me were nice. i kept getting told to sit down and wait so thats what i did by the ladies out front i got tired of waiting hours so i asked a lady there she gets angry at me and tells me i shouldve gone tk the other side of the emergency room they probably already yelled my name out. this honestly annoyed me because how was i supposed to know ive never been here and all they tell u is to sit.i was like whatever and i did. I asked the people over there they told me to wait. i waited and waited and asked again and guess what supposedly they called my name multiple times and took my name off the list. at that point i just gave up and went home

I had to be admitted to this hospital due to CMC being the only hospital in the Central Valley with a neuroscience department. I was suffering from 2 herniated disks in my neck causing extreme pain. While being admitted, the nurse (who I plan to get her name and proceed further with my complaint) in the admittance booth (she is the first who took my vitals) had shown 0 compassion and after sitting there for nearly 3 days told me to suffer in silence! After that I had witnessed a man (possibly drunk) there looking for help. Instead of tending to him she passed him up and went to the back. Before she came back the man had fallen hitting his head on the nurses doorway and floor. Everyone was trying to help him and as the admittance nurse came out and saw the mess she proclaimed " oh, gee, I missed it." I am further shocked that no other nurse had addressed her attitude! There are cameras there so I also know someone caught it. Was something done about it? This hospital is proving to be highly unprofessional in the ER and this is very unacceptable! There needs to be some accountability! This is still America which isn't supposed to be a 3rd world country! Lastly, I was supposed to be given a series of pain medications for my pain. The nurses were not only slow but often they would claim they are in a shift change therfore cannot give me pain medication. I was in extreme pain and perhaps if I was given the right medication when they said they would give it then I would have been able to "suffer in silence." I am almost into my 11th week of recovery now from total disc replacement and would like to thank the folks in the neurology department for helping me! I'm ready to attend my 12th week appointment and am ready to get back to work!

No parking, no friendly staff, they want to integrate you and then provide no help, when someone else walks in they don’t even finished helping you. Just move on. So unprofessional , you have othe staff member zig zag through you to rush. Do better.

Remember geoblastoma research is being conducted to use the polio virus to kill brain tumors. We just had our Mom experience one, but she was in a car accident when she was young. At only 68 this is a reminder to always go to the doctor even if you are young and healthy. Tell them everything and live as long a life as possible. I only give 2 stars because the medical team never showed us the images and just cited "we need miracles" . We are a non religious family and deserved to see what killed our Mom. It was your duty and responsibilities to provide that. I will now have to request medical records which I will compare with Google images myself using common expectation of the evidence and deductive logic to olevate my concerns.May you love wonderful lives and maybe one day I don't know if it will be 10,000 or 100,000 years before we have that magic wand you want to make everything better.
