Very rude horrible experience. My daughters quince is coming soon took her and cousin to look for a dress for her cousin they were super excited . The girl I. The counter seemed bothered by me asking her questions as we picked out dresses she said we can only try on three dress per day . I told her I don’t like to be told what to do I like to shop freely. And I wanted to take a picture of how my daughters cousin looked so I can get ok from her mom she said no pictures because our customers like to be exclusive and not for people to have sane dress I’m like Wth .. she ruined the experience for my daughter you can find theses types of dresses at the remate they are not exclusive . My niece wanted the dress but I’m not going to buy from this cheap ghetto bad quality horrible customer service place don’t go there .. if you want to get treated badly then go to sugar sugar!!!!

If a dress is over a price range you need to spend 10$ just to try it on what a joke not accommodating some of the other dress shops down the road are so much nicer and more accommodating

Tried to get some dressed but they charge you just to try on the dress. As we all know you don't buy on the first dress you try on. You could spend hundreds just to not like them. I wouldn't recommend this place. They do not care about their customers!

The guy at the front counter was rude, and on top of that, he wanted to charge my daughter to try on a couple of dresses. I will never go back to this place.

Absolutely ridiculous and rude. They have a “3 dress per day” policy. Which means that you are only allowed to try on 3 dresses in one day. My daughter is looking for a prom dress- we were willing to spend hundreds of dollars here on a prom dress. Even looked at dresses for my daughters quince. We got in line with 5 dresses different styles and different sizes. We were not told about this dress limit, and encouraged by one of the sales ladies to get a different size too. Not until another woman came were we told about this odd policy. I asked the owner why this was a “policy” and he said because they are too busy. I even said my daughter would try on 3, get out of line and wait for her turn again, nope. He was super rude. Nope. Refuse to give my money to a store that wants to force you to choose a dress because you only have a 3 dress per day silly policy. No legit store has this policy. Don’t go here.

$10.00 fee to try a dress really!!!!!!
I recently visited Sugar Sugar in search of a dress, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From the moment I walked in, I was met with rude and dismissive behavior from the workers.
The customer service was abysmal. The staff seemed uninterested in helping customers and were outright rude when approached for assistance. When I asked for help reaching a dress that was hanging high above, I was shocked to be told that I would have to commit to buying it or pay a fee of $10 just to have it taken down. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and left me feeling disrespected as a customer.
Furthermore, the selection of dresses, while potentially promising, was difficult to assess given the poor customer service and unwelcoming atmosphere. It’s unfortunate that such a special event like a quinceañera was overshadowed by such a negative shopping experience.
Overall, I would strongly advise against visiting Sugar Sugar for dresses. The lack of professionalism, rude behavior, and unreasonable policies make it an unpleasant place to shop for such an important occasion

Costumer service is horrible. They charge you to try on low quality dresses and get mad at you for touching the dresses on the racks, not to mention their ridiculous prices.

Customer service was HORRIBLE. Told me I couldn't be grabbing off the racks but when I did ask for help the girl had the audacity to tell me did I even look before calling her. Just completely rude. Also from the very gate was acting like I was a thief. Made MY 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER very uncomfortable while trying on dresses as well. All In all would definitely not recommend this place

Honestly, my sister, mom, and I had a really good experience. When shopping for my quince dress a lot of stores don't have them instore but this one did and they had a wide selection as well. There is a small fee to try on a dress but def worth it because then they stay in good condition. As soon as we walked in my sister spotted the dress she had been looking at, tried it on, and we all fell in love... bought it the very same day. The two ladies there were super sweet and helpful.

We were greated right when we walked in. The young lady at the counter asked me a series of questions. She asked what the occasion was, she asked my size and if I had an idea of what I wanted so she could direct me to the right area. She was very friendly and helpful. What I thought was going to take hours literally took maybe 45 minutes! Needless to say I LOVE my dress and am so excited for my event. The ladies were helpful and very nice. They even offered water for us to drink. Another thing I really appreciated was that the dressing room was equipped with a fan. I'm sure you ladies know how hot you can get when trying on clothes especially formal gowns. Overall my experience was very pleasant and easy. I highly recommend coming here when needing a dress for a special occasion.

I was in complete shock when reading the comments because a lot of them are VERY INACCURATE and NOT TRUE! I have enjoyed my service 10 years ago and today I still do! This place has many sizes up to 4x. You are allowed to try on dresses. They do give you a minimum per day so you don’t waste time and go just to play dress up! Maybe if they know you are serious about your purchase and polite because the style you thought would suit you doesn’t, they might let you try on a couple more of something suitable to your taste. Also I would love to announce that I really enjoyed Jessica and Jeanettes assistance when my fiancé and I needed help finding the right dress. They ask what type of event is the dress for, what styles are you comfortable with. When you give them an idea with your size and ask what type of dress will fit your frame. They will be completely honest and not in a rude way either. Women really need to stop getting offended and realize that this is their profession. They are trying to just help you out! We found the perfect dress and the best is that they offer Layaway if you can’t it all at once! This will forever be one of my favorite places to shop at!

The fact that this place has 3 stars is MIND BLOWING to me. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced, it makes me LAUGH OUT LOUD! This review is way overdue. I brought my braidmaids here when I was getting married. From the moment we walked in, they glared at us like halwks! We were told that we weren't allowed to try on anything unless we're gonna buy. ( Well how do I know if the dress is even gonna fit if we aren't allowed to try it on first)? We were not allowed to touch the dresses AT ALL! If we had any questions about the material they'll describe it to us. ??? And of course ABSOLUTELY no pictures! So pretty much they expect you to walk in and point to the dress you want, pay, and leave. I don't understand how this place is still in business?
