I've been shopping at Talbot's in Los Angeles for many years. Last 3 years have gotten all my casual clothes there. Best T's 100 percent. Lovely place.

I just read a number of reviews and am in agreement with all the people who said they did not get service from the staff. That is exactly what happened to me--so it wasn't personal--the staff just isn't customer oriented. I waited and waited by the counter. Two employees working there. They were especially careful NOT to look up to see if anyone was waiting to buy anything. Not customer friendly at all.

I love the clothes at Talbots but the salespersons did not even speak to me. I was there over 30 minutes. Not even a hello. Finally left feeling slightly ignored.

Poor supply of their higher end Catalog Clothing.Service is hit and miss.Quality of clothes are not what they use to be. To be fair, qualify of Women's clothes has gone down in USA.

Went in with my wife. Selection seemed OK. One the the employees (an older woman) was giving us serious stink eye for no apparent reason, and made us so uncomfortable we felt forced to leave.
