Overall a decent market, although they aren't as fancy as they think they are. Very nice produce and wine sections. General groceries are fine, albiet with eye watering prices. I've had the occasional issue with sale items not being stocked in the meat department, but overall quality and prices are good. My issue with them at the moment is their mark down section. (2 shopping carts in the back of the store). This morning I bought 2 packages of cookies that turned out to be 2 months past the best by date, and they tasted like it. Selling expired products isn't illegal, but selling that far out of date food , in that "fancy" a store leaves a (literal) bad taste. And yes, it's partially on me for not checking the dates before I purchased. So much for trusting them.

During my time at the Market I observed how clean and organized the whole store was. It was my first time in the store and I was just amazed at the different varieties of condiments there were. I loved the hot food department and deli. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The produce department was very neat and very organized. I will be visiting this store again in the near future.

One of the nicer Stores in town to shop at. Nice upscale products and name brands. They have alot of stuff other stores don’t carry and they carry and sell some of the best Beef around, Harris Ranch. Great store/bakery and Butcher shop.

The market is my go to for craft beer singles. They have a rotating mix of cans from some great breweries like Bottle Logic, Humble Sea, Russian River, Pure Project, Smog city, Moonraker (to name a few), and other local Fresno/Clovis breweries that can their brews. Although the Market might not have the reputation for the cheapest groceries in town, their beers are the most competitively priced in the valley with tje 10% off of mix and match 6 pack deal.

I’ll admit I don’t do my regular shopping here (due to over pricing), but they have fresh produce & last minute items with little or no waiting in line. Today’s quick stop in for 10 items was exactly what I’d expect. So my average rating is pretty much due to pricing and there’s always that one employee who’s just having a bad day, refuses to smile & forgets to thank you.

Great local place to shop, very fresh produce and the meat selection is always great. Seafood options on point and fresh, you can even ask the butchers for certain things if you dont see it and they are very good at providing info. Ive special ordered a few things in the past. Great staff and overall selection of things. Hot food and sandwiches are amazing also, support local!

I don't know why I bother to shop anywhere else! Tried two different stores to find Frozen okra and could not find it anywhere until I showed up at the market. Best place in town.

All I can say is WOW!!! Thank you Jake for being so so hospitable, professional and caring how I am treated at The Market!! Jake is one of the best cashiers and it’s always a delight to see him at The Market when I go shopping!! Thank you Jake!!!

The cashiers are generally personable and friendly. Staff higher up than cashiers have a definatley bad attitude toward their long term, cash paying customers. They expect their profit, but give very little back to this vibrant community of Lowell. We are a mixed community, with people of all beliefs and religions; all ethnicities;nationalities; all races; representing all scales of melatonin. Valley Foods on Fulton/Divisadero is a top notch grocery, with a meat counter, deli counter, fresh produce, fresh dairy, and vendors of every variety. And the premises are clear of those asking for your change.

I had the most rudest service in the fish department today. The employees were standing around and no other customers were in the department. I politely asked for assistance and I was so rudely asked to ring the bell by two different employees with a rude, sarcastic attitude. I've never been treated this way, and even by Wholefoods. I will never patronize this grocery store because their employees are rude and lazy. You know who you are.

Overall, it is very nice.I have only visited during lunchtime, but never too crowded. Always very helpful and friendly staff. Nice delli with great sandwiches!Prices are a little high overall, but the overall cleanliness, nice employees, variety of well stocked shelves, etc. is worth it.

They have the best Thai Noodle. It's simple pasta noodle with peanuts and their delicious secret sauce. I would stop by to get a small container of Thai Noodle whenever I'm on that side of town.

I had a great experience today with a young bagger by the name I think I can recall Andrew if I'm not mistaken. I feel as if the company did a great service to this community for which the interaction we had was splendid. Nothing in this world is more important to me than to see this young man prosper into the little daisy that I think he is always destined to become.
