The Meat Up is a family owned butcher and deli with deep roots in the meat industry and the hometown of Fresno. It provides consistently high quality meat, featuring whole-animal butchery with cuts you won't find at supermarkets. The butchers share great grilling tips. The dry-aged beef develops incredible depth of flavor. The shop is fantastic with a super friendly staff. It offers great food including amazing sandwiches like the pastrami and shredded beef, with great complements like potato salad. The beef hotdogs will change your life. There are also great value boxes, with amazing and very tender steaks. However, some items like the French fries can sometimes be greasy, not crispy, and a small size.
Hands down the best place to get your meats. Their Berkshire pork hops are amazing. They have great daily lunch specials. My favorite is Monday’s chicken sandwich!

Great food! Great people. Highly recommend everything. The pastrami sandwich is amazing and my favorite. Potato salad is a great complement to it as well.
