I made a purchase on Amazon, received the package at my home in shabby condition. It was determined the product would not work for our home; I began the return process with Amazon. I was provided a QR return code and was directed to return the item to a UPS station. The UPS closest to me was on First & Nees. I brought the package into the store (large package, not heavy). The clerk behind the counter did not greet my son and I but began to instruct us that the box needed to be more secure. I was aware of this and was hoping to get some help from UPS. I was advised by the same clerk that she could not help me and that I could purchase a roll of tape and tape it up even more. Mind you, this box was in shabby condition when it came to me. I just did not have any tape at home. So, I purchased the roll of tape and began to wrap up the large box, but the tape was so cheaply made, it kept breaking. While I was taping up the box and getting frustrated, the clerk continued to tell how the UPS drives have so many boxes on their trucks, and I would need to secure the box more. Simultaneously, another clerk is taking their roll of tape in and out from under the counter to secure other boxes. I was also advised they were not allowed to help tape up my box because the owner said they could not do so because of customer complaints. After 15 minutes of taping, being schooled by the clerk and the lack of customer service and having to purchase the tape I then asked if they could just take the box and finish securing the box. They finally took the box, scanned my QR code for the return. But I still had to pay $10 for the roll of cheap grade tape. Extremely poor customer service and rude staff. Next time, I will drive the extra milage and take it to the Packaging Store in Fig Garden where they treat me and others with respect. You are fortunate to even get 1 Star from me.

Brie at the store stepped to help another employee who told me she couldn’t accept the label I had on the box because the other part of the label was not attached with it. That was part of the label. Bree stepped in, overheard the conversation and said no, we can still take it. All we have to do is enter the numbers manually and I thought that that was exceptional service. It’s little things like that that make the difference. I would have had to go back home repackage the item which is such an inconvenience. Bree just made the transaction all the better more, and that’s customer service! More employees like bree please.

The young woman that helped me was very respectful/polite. Alex made my quick stop to have my package shipped, one that I appreciated. This kind of excellence customer service is what brings back business again & again, like myself in the future. That you UPS Store for hiring people like Alex that show they sincerely care about people in general. I think she has a bright future in whatever profession she chooses to pursue.

The line I was in started at the entry door. I thought I'd be in line forever, but I was to the front and waited on in a very short time. I'd say two or three minutes tops.
I even made it a point when I got called to the counter to say how fast that was and I added thank you
