Parking is limited. On top of that, their employees are rude. The worker Mrs. Yang was extremely unprofessional. She gave me an attitude and was rude the entire time. Also, don't ever ask for help because they will not help you. The worker made that very clear. I was told it's our mails/ packages, so we should know what to do with it or choose how fast we want the item to get to its destination.

Very quick & informative, Especially informative that the hiring exam must've been lowered vastly. When I asked young mam behind the counter how much is the "Per Pound Rate" for large boxes, And he said that they don't charge by the pound, it's a Flat Rate" very confidently I might add, I responded with "I think you might wanna double check that?" And a little attitudey I was told "I can assure you Sir, that the usps does NOT charge by the lb for delivery, it's a flat rate and that's how We charge!" And I responded with(thinking to myself: GAME ON!!)"Well, online it asks for the dimensions of the box your shipping in or envelope, So for Example & this Conversation, how much would it cost to mail this letter behind you?(he tells me price) and now let's say I have a box that's 24x12x12 and weighs 10lbs, how much to ship that overnight?(he gives me a price) now, how much would it cost to ship the same box BUT it weighs 30lbs?(he starts to give me the price and as soon as he starts to say the 1st number I cut him off and say) WHY IS THERE A PRICE DIFFERENCE, ITS THE SAME BOX!!" He states "the 2nd box was heavier" me: EXACTLY!! THERE'S A 20LB DIFFERENCE AND A PRICE DIFFERENCE, SO CLEARLY YOU CHARGE BY THE POUND, CORRECT?" BEFORE HE COULD ANSWER HIS MANAGER CAME UP, AND TOOK OVER THE POTENTIAL VERBAL EVISCERATING THAT CARLOS WAS ABOUT TO FALL VICTIM TO...All the MANAGER said was "He doesn't have access to that part of the system which is why he responded the way he did. I apologize for that" I told her it was no big deal, it was his attitude that led him to those questions and I laughed & She laughed and I ended up smashing that night, Thank You Michelle, For Your Expert Handling and Processing of My Package and going Above, Beyond and Pretty Much Bending over backward to make sure I was Satisfied with her performance, I am!! Very Much So, Your Hubby is a Lucky Man!!-M

The US Postal Service is not what it used to be. I've paid for a box at this location for almost 20 years. The decline of the USPS has really impacted their facilities, services, and even their employees.

I had to send a package for the first time of my life and I asked the women if she could help me? Well the nerve of her she made me do everything myself? I just needed tape and she had me buy a roll of tape there??? Back in the day men were working there and they did everything for you...Now your on your own? And she was Rude on top of that...

Went in to ask what's going on with missing mail. I have the mail app and my mail is a box with key. Sue the employee working today was extremely rude saying it's not there problem. They need to hire people who aren't ghetto to the public. No wonder the mail service is losing money. I can see why people do bills online. Went to the one on Tulare

No parking!! Staffs are usually emotionless. Black lady (possibly manager?) has quite an attitude even during early mornings. Most the staff there need to learn how to say thank you. I only get that from a few staffs.

First off they have great rates free shipping and it's very easy to ship something and pay for it may even take credit cards Etc. But I always had an easy time and they're the people that work in there are really glad to help you and they're very courteous. As you can't get something there for the price you wanted they'll tell you where you can go to get it. There's nothing wrong with the business that helps out people by telling him where to get two things that you need if they don't have them now the old one on Tulare was great but it's closed I'm talking about the one I was in on Kern Street next to FedEx. All in all they were both great! Before the one on Tulare close it was a great place to go and it still is on current try it out you like it

GREAT! Post office
-
August 2018 by Greg B.
ZERO STARS This post office is located in a disadvantaged area of Fresno and staff believe they can act and do as they please. Lines long and wait could be over 15-20 minutes with only one clerk. No one cares how many people waiting in line. That would never happen in North Fresno or Clovis. Overheard staff talking rudely to customers and they are very condescending with their tone of voice. They have "I cannot be fired attitude" since they work for the government. Customer service is zero and the way they treat people is sad. In one case, I saw a customer being passed back and forth between one clerk and another because no one would take responsibility for the others mistake.

Four stars because this post office is walking distance from me and I love this old building. The lobby is huge and cavernous. Every time I've come here, there is only one window open and I'm always surprised there isn't a line. I hope this doesn't mean not very many people use this post office which would mean they'll end up closing it. The only time I experienced a line was on tax filing day LOL The lady that works at the window is very friendly and helpful. The downsides to this location is there are none of the normal shipping boxes, envelopes, mailing labels, or neat decorative items most post office locations sell. I often fill out my priority mailing labels, etc while I'm in line, which is not an option here - I either need to have everything ready before I get there or get it from the lady at the window and then have to go back once all my stuff is filled out and ready. Minor inconvenience; it doesn't ruin my experience lol. The other "tenant" in this building is Fresno Unified School District admin/HR office and also where FUSD holds their Board meetings (which I've attended and encourage others to do also. They make big important decisions at these meetings!). The FUSD admin office part is where you apply for jobs and get finger printed.
