Didn't think this place could get much worse. But it did. They have been remodeling for what seems like a year now. None of the aisles listed in the app match the products. The dressing rooms are closed. Hopefully this ends soon. The inside looks like a target now.

Did I step into Mexico? I've been coming to this store on-and-off since they opened around 2001 and can count on one hand how many times I heard English spoken last night. As for the store itself... a lot more items behind glass than I remember. The workers were slow to respond after we needed them to grab something locked up, and we had to flag someone down several times. Otherwise... same old 'ghetto' neighborhood store. I wish they didn't remove the fish section or video game consoles after expanding. Always packed

This review is going to be real simple. I stopped to get gas from tne Walmart gas station. As I was pumping gas, my tummy started growling. I wanted something simple and Walmart grocery is right hereI entered the store and man the store was packed. Full of people walking, talking and buying groceries. I looked at the salads. They had a good selection but they didn't look as fresh. I stepped around the corner and got distracted by the tiny pinwheel wraps. These are just perfect for me. I picked 2 flavors.. Chicken, Cheese, Ranch & Bacon. 4 little Pinwheels for $3.78. 4 mini Turkey & Ranch Pinwheels also for $3.78. What marries with the pinwheels...Salt n' Vinegar Pork Rinds. If the pork rinds had hit the spot with the right amount of vinegar, i would have given 5 stars. This pork rinds just tasted plain. My tastebuds was sooo ready. None the less...the pinwheels hit the spot. Definitely adding these little guys to my favorite food list.

When I first started attending the optometrist service here in 2016, I was impressed with the care and attention to detail offered. The receptionist would talk about the vision care plan, low cost vision plan---I sprung for that one year, as I recall. However for the past two years the optometrist is running a one-person office which is never a good sign. She is still generally nice, but a recent frustration is that she does not return calls after the doctor's visit which in this case involved an incorrect prescription number. Here are several other drawbacks based on my observation:1) inability to adequately coordinate call-ins, call-backs, messages, appointment setting while simultaneously conducting optometrist exams2) rushed service such as no longer really taking the time to explain and verify the prescription as jotted down---which would have saved me a lot of time and frustration trying to call the doctor back after I discovered the error on my own after I returned back east. 3) sense of overscheduling of patients as we are all scheduled at certain prime times in closely spaced time slots4) if you are unaware of rush hours, your time slot may overspill into rushed service as well at the optical shop unless you can come back another day 5) receptionist also can collect service charges due and print out receipts or other paperwork, which definitely helps the doctor focus on the optometrist consultation, such as time to explain diagnosis, answer questions, and focus on the prescriptive treatment. 6) receptionist offers an outside third party impersonalism and professionalism for the office. if the doctor is having a bad day, the chance is that the receptionist might not be. 7) a receptionist should include their email or even texting possibilities and can expand to social media. unfortunately walmart has not incorporated email or texting into their vision center or optometrist shop. 8) cancelling an order or anything can be very difficult if you do not live in Fresno as they state that you must come in, in person. 9) receptionist may not hold the same sorts of biases that the doctor might, and this is very important as Southeast Fresno has a very diverse population including Hmong, Sikh, Thai, Hispanic, and may not be English fluent. 10) if the doctor is having a bad day in a one-person office, it is no wonder s/he will just hang up on people or not really be willing to answer messagesIn this situation the issue was resolved after numerous calls, but it involved the optician having to make a special request, and the doctor communicating with the optician only. i am still not sure that i will be receiving a corrected prescription in writing. however according to the college of optometrists clinical guidance and the FTC on buying glasses, there should be no discrimination against me or my loved ones for complaining; I am entitled to a written corrected prescription whether by mail or email or fax per the FTC; and also this kind of complaint (pretty simple actually, a wrong digit) should have been handled in an expeditious sensitive manner no matter where the patient is. If the optometrist is using advanced diagnotical systems surely she has the technology to communicate electronically. consumer.ftc.gov/article…

I just came in to pass time and look around. I almost got hats but realized towards the end that I had put them back! There was an abundance of hats that were in 2 different sections and they all had different prices! So confusing. I'll have to go to another Walmart and check, but for some reason I think this Walmart was not as costly as one I went to in Visalia and another in Clovis. Hm...not bad for this one, but suspicious about the other two...

February 2023 by Andrea S.
Went to get a few groceries, tabletop decor items and hopefully a few black history shirts. February is the only time you might catch more black oriented shirts in stores even tho we're black 24/7/365... I like to stock up and wear them year-round so I was ready to buy any and all that I like. I walk around the whole clothing department looking for a display or rack with the clothes. It is February right? I check my phone, yeah, February 8th. Hmmm, okay. I ask an associate if they have a black history section or rack. First she tells me no, then takes me to a single shirt in the women's section. Then she recalls they have more in the men's section. So I go to look, and find the remainder mostly hidden behind each other and when you found a design, they only had like 2-3 pieces of inventory maybe 5 at the most but no more than 35-ish articles of clothing TOTAL and about 7 designs in the mens section with barely different sizes available. None of them were appealing to me. Lacked color, lacked personality, lacked actual black faces... Nor did I find a display with other merchandise for black history month like notebooks and such I can use.Yet I saw countless, full racks for Saint Patrick's day in the woman's section, the men's section AND the children's section. Saint Patrick's day isn't even until next month. It's 2023 in the age of black lives matter and Walmart is doing less then the bare minimum for the black Fresnians patronizing their establishment who are ready and able to purchase. This bugs me, but I'm letting it go; Walmart, do better.

Curb side pick up is horrible. When I arrived at pick up location no spaces where available. There is no point in letting them know I'm on my way to pick up my order if I had to wait more than 20 minutes for my order. They need to organize the orders in the time they are arriving. A car parked in a space next to me after I was waiting more than 15 minutes and he got his order before me. Will not select curb side pick up at this location anymore.

The internet for the Walmart said the pharmacy was open until 10 pm so I drove over to specifically pick up my prescription. When I get there at 8 pm it's already closed. Apparently they have temporary hours and closed at 7pm. Gas is over $5 a gallon, why not charge the website to the actual times open so I can plan my life accordingly? I do not appreciate this waste of my time or money because I would have waited until the next day when they open at the crack of 9am
