Just stopped in on my way to a doctors appointment to get some throat lozenges. Located on the SW corner of First and Bullard. Quick in and out. Friendly cashier.

When I was checking out, I asked the checker if they carried boxes of matches. She said, "I don't think so" with a kind of glazed over look on her face & continued to ring me up. She didn't even ask me the standard, "Do you have a Walgreens card/phone number with us?" so I could get my rewards points. Maybe she's new but this is just a dime a dozen prime example of the absolute downfall of quality customer service in America. I have worked retail and food service in both casual and formal environments, and your job is to go the extra mile to be HELPFUL to the customer, not LAZY. You should have said, "I'm not sure if we carry boxed matches, but let me ask my manager to see if we actually have them in stock." What I am suggesting may not seem like a big deal to most people, but I absolutely guarantee that taking just a little extra step like that with ANYTHING in life will greatly improve not only, say, a customer's life, but the lives of your loved ones AND your life! Let's go the extra mile, make a little extra effort, and live up to our greatest potential. Life doesn't have to be dull and mundane - it can be lovely, even in the most ordinary moments. When you demonstrate that you care about the details of serving others, even in a tiny retail transaction, you demonstrate that you not only have a sincere respect for others but you also have self-respect to carry out your work with dignity. Be blessed.

For convenience, this place wins. They carry just about anything, just with a slightly higher price. Customer service is hit or miss. Depends on when you go and who's helping you, what kind of service you'll be getting. They have the cashier running both the register and photo counter, so sometimes you're waiting on either end depending on who git helped first. As far as the pharmacy, I'm unsure how well they operate but they do have a large selection of medications and decent prices on those.

Got my covid rapid test here and got my results within 2 hours like it said online and the staff was also not rude about me showing up a bit early. Went to a different Walgreens an hour later for my bf's test and it was a completely different experience and not in a good way, so I recommend this Walgreens pharmacy for the covid rapid test.

DO NOT MAKE THIS YOUR PHARMACY! When I moved nearby, I transferred my prescriptions here from CVS. I regret it now. From the first call, the pharmacy associate acted as though I was imposing on him to call and get my prescriptions from CVS. There is no communication. I have had to call and ask for refills and then they are still not ready even a day later. They are not even busy! There's never a line at the drive through. The employees here are lazy, incompetent, and barely civil. So different from my previous pharmacy!

Over time, I have become thoroughly angry and upset with this Walgreens. After spending a lot of time getting my doctor and insurance company to approve an exception to getting this medication approved, I was told to call Walgreens, since they were the ones that initially denied filling the prescription. So, I called them with the authorization, and informed them I could pick up the medicine on May 1, 2022. I was told I would have to call back on that date because Walgreens could not be responsible to remember this information. DISGUSTING!!!!!!

I made a purchase online and I got an email the next day that my order was ready. I went to curbside pick up area that evening after work about 2 hours before they closed. I called the number to let them know I was there and I selected on the email to state that I was on my way. No one answered the phone after several attempts. I walk to the door and an employee meets me at the front. I let them know I was there for a pickup. They said I can wait in my car and they will bring it out. I'm waiting 10 mins, 15 mins.... getting impatient waited 20 minutes before I tried to call again. No answer. I go to the front, now waiting almost 45 mins. They said I have to come back because they have to close the store because of an emergency. I told them that an employee just spoke to me and I'm just pick up, I already paid. They said I have to come back the next day. Now I'm super frustrated because they wasted my time. I come back the next day after work, I wait at curbside and called. Again, no answer. I go inside and they can't find my order. Then they find it and said it's already been picked up. Which I never did. I ask to speak to a a manger, no managers there... I call back the next day to the manager and they said I already picked up. I told them I did not and they gave me the run around. I eventually had to file a dispute with my bank because I didn't get my items I paid for. They must have given it away to someone else! They said there's nothing they can do. They said they can go pick out the items again but I have to pay at the front! This place is horrible!

Took and elderly friend to pick up prescriptions and we had to wait for 15+ minutes in line at the pharmacy counter. The Express line had someone at the counter who was there when we got in line and was still there when we left. I needed to use the restroom while we waited........the restroom was disgusting.....dirty, broken fixtures, no soap or paper towels.....sad. That store needs some TLC.....

Covid-19 Phase: Masks are mandatory now I went in to get Mother's Day gift cards, nail glue and gum. The store was very clean and well taken care of. They have everything you can think of from makeup to hair to foods to medicines, etc. All across the board. The worker was very nice and easy to talk to. Had a mask on too! I was helped to get a few things that were locked and there was no problem. They also have tons of sales everywhere! Pretty great! Great service and tons of great stuff to choose from! Highly recommended!

We dropped off a FedEx package here and waited 20 minutes at the counter. No one was in the store to help us. Someone finally came and couldn't find the scanner so they disappeared for a long period of time to go search for it. Whatever, we got over it. And then! I looked up the tracking and it said Walgreens is going to hold the package for 5 days! Wtf?! Sure enough, it's been 5 days and the tracking still says FedEx has not picked it up yet. We were not told that FedEx only comes to Walgreens once in a blue moon. My return window is very short. This is completely unacceptable! UPDATE: I called Walgreens after waiting 7 days and asked why they are holding my package. First, they said they had no record in their system that I ever dropped off a package and tried to end the conversation. Like what?! I kept telling them I DID drop it off and my tracking number says I dropped it off at their address. After arguing with him, he looked up my tracking again and finally admitted that I did drop it off and the note said pending customer pick up. Why the f*** would I pick it up? FedEx is supposed to pick it up. He said whoever took my package scanned it in as customer pick up instead of FedEx pick up. I told him that is incorrect but instead of fixing the problem he said it wasn't him who helped me so he doesn't know what to do. Then he said he didn't have the package so FedEx must've picked it up and forgot to scan it when they took it. I didn't accept that answer and told him FedEx would not take packages that say customer pick up. He said FedEx probably saw my package and knew it was for them and took it anyway. He tried to end the conversation by assuring me FedEx took it even though there isn't proof. I was not going to give up because I just got off the phone with FedEx who said the tracking was not in their queue and I had to call Walgreens. So I told him that and he decided he will go look for it. He comes back and says, oh yeah we do have your package and it was in the front waiting for you to pick it up. I explained to him AGAIN that I am not picking up a package that I dropped off! He said FedEx will come get it. I told him he needs to change the status to FedEx pick up and not customer pick up. He said he doesn't need to and FedEx will just come get it in a few days. I told him again and again to change the status until he finally gave in and said okay give me a minute. Omg!! So many times during that conversation, he was trying so hard to get rid of me. Even at the start when he said I never dropped anything off. I'm glad I was assertive or else my package would be sitting there for customer pick up FOREVER!

Don't go here. Pharmacy thinks they know state CA regulations and make up their own rules about what they can sell to people.

Waited over a week for a prescription. Turns out the pharmacy did not fax the doctor. We called the doctor's office 3 times and I went to this pharmacy 3 times last week. My husband went without his meds (organ failure) for a week. I finally stood my ground and they called the doctor's office while I stood there. They never heard from Walgreens. I asked the pharmacist for the fax log and he said it had been "deleted". I called the 800 number to complain and the rep was rude. Do not depend on this pharmacy.

Visit here was for a bday card, never visited this location, but was great, welcomed upon entering store, smile and cheerful voice! Isles, store clean fresh. Staff really friendly , chit chatty elderly woman, but great! Parking and location on a pretty busy location but great convenient location.
