For a full synthetic oil change, they tried to scam me by pouring only a tiny amount of oil.
As soon as I left the shop, the low engine oil amount warning light came on. I had to pull over and check the engine oil dipstick/level myself, and it was indeed very low. I had to drive back and ask for an explanation, to which they simply said “Oh we must’ve read the dipstick wrong.”
Ridiculous, as they claim they poured in 5 qt of engine oil. If they had done so, this would not even be possible. Now I don’t even know whether they actually did put in fully synthetic oil. Scummy business tactic and will not be coming back.

Was in the area and decided to get an oil change, I called Boss Auto and they were willing to take me in right away. I spoke with Robert he was very nice and helpful. A short moment after arriving they promptly started on my oil change. I’m a happy customer and will be back in the future for sure.

I had an excellent experience with Boss Auto. Had my front and rear brakes replaced. I spoke with Robert who was able to schedule a time within a busy schedule, on a Sunday! The price was more than reasonable, no work arounds or upsells. He let me know exactly what the wear was on my brakes, that were accurate (I had them assessed at my dealer). The price was half of the dealer with the same parts, labor. Very personable and professional and I will be back. Thank you!

Needed a repair done on the EGR system and although we were 90% certain what it was, dealerships were quoting thousands. As a long-time mechanic, I understand the repair process, and the need for them to go through their proper paces. However, nobody was even willing to quote a labor time definitively in the case that it happened to be what I was suspecting (red flag).Robert and his shop were the exact opposite. Was able to give clear estimates and walked us through the repair process in detail, itemizing everything, completely transparent.His process (a simple smoke test, something the dealership mentioned nothing about) ended up working and shrinking the repair bill down by a factor of four from what the dealership was charging.He even was able to find a set of four new tires for the car for cheaper than I could find anywhere online; mounted, balanced, installed - and car repaired - for much less than the dealership could even begin to diagnose the EGR issue.Everyone at the shop was super nice, respectful, and hard-working. Robert runs his shop exactly the way you'd want a shop run if you were taking your car to him, whether you're an experienced mechanic not wanting to waste your own time wrenching or a complete beginner that knows nothing about cars. He'll do right by you. Boss Auto should literally be saved in your phone.PS - This is coming from a guy who knows a lot about shops and what you want (and don't) to see in a repair shop.

Just had an oil change there. got the deal off groupon. Very nice staff. I watched the oil change and they did everything really well. they do everything in front of you because it’s a small shop so there’s no way they can cheat you. Definitely the best deal in fullerton.if you also buy a tire rotation make sure to tell them because I’m not sure they know it’s included in the deal.

Don't come here. Do more research if you need work done on your car, that was my mistake. I came here because they had a groupon offer, they ended up charging more of course. My problem with Boss Auto is they told me I needed Rotars replaced, I went to another mechanic that told me I didn't need them and they were still good and were able to resurface them for half the cost. Wish i never came here

Lost my wheel hub cap. I had a tire rotation done. There's no lot at the business so they left my car in a strip mall parking lot across the street when I picked it up. I picked up my car and when I got home I noticed my passenger side hub cap was missing. I called and they denied responsibility even though they worked on the tires and either forgot to put it back on or installed it so poorly that it fell off.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. Caused me damage to my car. They broke my caliper and ABS module and some wires were damaged due to heat. Didn't know till I went to a PROFESSIONAL mechanic to ask me where did you get your brakes done because they did a horrible job.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACEFRAUDULENTYOUR CAR WILL NEVER WORK THE SAME IF SERVICED HERE

Well I thought they were very nice and accommodating, until I was back on the road. There was an extremely heavy smell of oil/gas in the air so I rolled down the windows to try and clear out the smell. Well it's been a week and the smell is still very strong. Idk what they did but it never stopped smelling bad. I will call them in the morning and hopefully they can enlighten me as to how and why my car smells the way it does.

Quick service, great prices, awesome communication.The mechanic, Luis, walked through everything with me piece by piece & answering all my questions in terms I could understand. Front staff was courteous too.

Job was done to my knowledge but everything was rummaged through...Oil finger prints were all over the center console, the glove box, papers inside, napkins and all over the seats. Not sure what they were looking for but won't be going back.Guys were very kind, and informative but scares me that they went through everything.Value was Good.
