My partner and I stayed here around Christmas and it was alright, but not sure we'll book in the future unless it's the cheapest option. Pros: our room was clean, bedding was clean, staff was friendly and checking in and out was a smooth process. Cons: the elevator did not sound great and the shower was very short. I am 5'2" and the shower head was just a little taller than me. I was kind of confused why there wasn't a side or back door by the back parking area? It was kinda inconvenient to walk all the way around the building to the front entrance but I guess the building must be older. Overall, it wasn't the worst place I've stayed at.

This place is a dive. Oh my is it terrible. If you can keep from getting killed or mugged by locals then hopefully you don't get killed by some weird sickness from the nasty room. If you get a room on the second floor, good luck it's smells like a hookah den and reeks of cigarette smoke. All together this place is just awful. Not worth the visit in any way.

Do not stay here. We have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 3 years and have never had any issues. However on our last stay there, Dec 2023, we found a cockroach in our room. We asked for a different room and were moved to the smoking floor (we had specified non-smoking) and in that room we found mouse droppings all over the carpet. The front desk attendant was very nice and understanding and got us checked out and approved our full refund, but don't waste your time here. The quality has seriously gone downhill in this past year.Noteworthy details: Cockroaches and Mouse Droppings in rooms.

In the Anaheim/Fullerton area and need a place to stay - Days Inn & Suites is a reasonable choice. The building is older but in good condition. The room and bathroom was clean, but the decor is a little outdated. The room was in working order, but could use cosmetic touch ups.The hallway carpet had a wet carpet smell. It did rain some while we were there. The cleaning crew also left the window cracked open - possibly to circulate the air more? The included breakfast was good. They had bananas, yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs, pastries and make your own waffle station. Coffee and juice machines and water were provided. The apple juice tasted a little watered down. Would have liked to have some hot items, but it was still a good start to the day. They keep the area very clean and well stocked.Overall a good experience! The staff were all very nice and you can tell they take pride in the property

This hotel did exactly what I needed it to do for me. Let's start with the good. For the price, this hotel was a good deal for the LA area. It is close to Anaheim, which may benefit Disneyland travelers not looking to break the bank on their hotel. For me, it was about an hour drive from there to LAX, and about an hour and 10 minutes to Hollywood. The breakfast was surprisingly good, and the waffles from the waffle maker were perfect. Parking was ample, staff were friendly, and the rooms themselves were clean. Beds were firm and comfortable. And for the bad, it's a few key annoyances that dissuade people from cheaping out on their hotels. Room keys seemingly stop working after a day, leading me back down to the front desk on a nightly basis. Not ideal. The bathrooms were also pretty bad. Cracked tile, dirty shower heads, and hairs littered throughout the floor and sink. The shower head is laughably short, and I'm not even a particularly tall guy, with no freeing way to detach the head. The hotel itself is in need of an update, but this isn't a dealbreaker by any means. And the breakfast was good, but it took some trial and error to find the best selection available (avoid the oatmeal and milk). I saw another reviewer discuss the slowness of the elevator, and I have to agree with that as well. Overall, it was just ok. I got exactly what I paid for, nothing more and nothing less. I'd probably stay again, but maybe I'd be willing to spend a little more next time.

Pretty solid hotel. In a good location, with a gas station and a Walmart nearby so you'll have everything you need as well as a lot of restaurants and fast food joints around so you'll have plenty of options to eat no matter your budget. The room was very clean when we entered it and the beds are very comfortable. The cleaners regularly replaced our towels when needed and continental breakfast was provided and the selection was pretty good. It was an overall solid experience. My only gripe is that outside it says AAA is accepted, but when we asked to use it ask the desk for our online reservation, the man at the front desk said it's already discounted which can't be true as we didn't apply any discounts when making our reservation. Overall though a good place to stay

Needed a cheaper hotel while in the area for a conference. The hotel itself was fine. No frills but definitely could use some updating. The check in was quick but the elevator was slow. Annoyingly slow. Got to my room and although it was old, it was clean. The room actually smelled of cleaning products. There was a microwave and fridge. The bathroom surround was old and although the room was "clean" I would probably only stay again if it was just me. I probably wouldn't bring my kiddos. I didn't take advantage of any amenities like breakfast or the pool. I was only there to sleep. The only really upsetting thing that happened was my keys wouldn't work and I had to go down to the front desk to get them reset whilst carrying a lot of items. Ok for a single traveler on a short stay. Two nights.

This is my first negative review ever but it's truly because I do not recommend anyone book here. My girlfriend was working in the area and we didn't want to drive all the way home so we booked here because it was closest. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and even some lower end motels and this place was the worst stay hands down. First one elevator was out of service the whole week we were there and that's tolerable but for two days both elevators were out and all guest had to take the stairs. We're more then capable of walking up and down the stairs but what really got to us was a guest who was elder was complaining to the front desk one day as we were leaving and I've never heard a guest service employee so rude in my life. I was going to step in but my girlfriend begged me not to.That same night after taking the stairs back to our room we decided to go for a swim. We tried calling the front desk three times in a row and never getting an answer. We ended up going to the pool around 9:30pm and understood that it closes at 10:00pm. But at 9:50pm the guy working the front desk comes out to tell us that the pool is now close. I replied that it wasn't 10:00pm to which he said nothing and just started walking back inside clearly upset. So I poked a little and asked why he was so quick to kick people out of the pool but can't answer his phone at the front. Obviously ignored but I admittedly was being petty after the whole experience the five days there. And I didn't even mention the breakfast area which I saw more than an handful of health code violations.I really hate leaving any bad reviews because I understand how it impacts business but corporate needs to step in and make changes. That's if they even care.

My experience at the Days Inn was extremely disappointing, and it deserves the lowest rating possible. First and foremost, the hotel's elevator was out of order during our stay, and it was incredibly frustrating to be assigned a room on the third floor. This was particularly inconsiderate as we were traveling with three elderly individuals who found it extremely challenging to climb up and down the stairs repeatedly.Furthermore, I was taken aback by the overall condition of the facilities. Common areas and the room itself were not clean, which is unacceptable in any hotel, regardless of its category. To make matters worse, the jacuzzi, which was advertised in the photos, was not functioning and was in a deplorable state. The continental breakfast was also a significant letdown. The lack of options was evident, and there weren't even any eggs available. While I understand that breakfast offerings can vary, this went beyond what I would consider acceptable.Additionally, there was no hand sanitizer available in the designated dispensers. Instead, there were bottles that you had to touch to get some, and everyone touched them. This raises serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness in the hotel. To add to the discomfort, the water in the showers was not consistent and would change from very hot to very cold within seconds. This was very uncomfortable and inconvenient.Having stayed in various hotels across California, I must say that this experience at Days Inn is, by far, the worst, even when compared to roadside motels. I sincerely hope that the hotel management takes this feedback into account for improvements in the future.

I found that the people associated at this Days Inn were very pleasant, polite and friendly. Ready to accommodate to my requests. Rooms were cleaned manicured very well by their staff, including the front desk and those preparing our morning breakfast. Inside and outside were very well managed / kept up.

Terrible experience. When we arrived, the main elevator was broken, and the needed part was on backorder. This was not communicated to us when we reserved our third floor room. The only other elevator was at the opposite side of the hotel from our room. I have mobility issues, which makes it difficult to walk far. So. we asked for another room and discount, which we did receive. Then, the only remaining elevator went down. So, I had to climb up 4 flights of stairs. Every time we asked, the front desk had no idea when it would be fixed. To top off the experience, our room keys failed to work at least 5 times. Three times I didn't find out until after I climbed the 4 flights of stairs. Since I can't stand long, I had to wait by sitting on the staircase while my husband got new key cards. I was in tears and ready to go somewhere else. We were promised a room on the first floor our next to last day. Fortunately, the elevator was fixed. However, we had to get another key card. I will. NEVER stay at this hotel again. Awful experience.

Extremely clean and comfortable, the check-in was quick with friendly staff. The breakfast was great with many options, and the ladies who worked the breakfast were fantastic. I will definitely come back next time visiting family.

check out an hour early called within 20 minutes of leaving the hotel and the guy that answered the phone said that he would have them keep my shoes at the front for me to pick up. I literally get there seven hours later and the new receptionist at the front says there's no notes in the system, nor are my shoes at the front counter. He goes and checks her room. The room is completely clean now, and says my shoes are nowhere to be found. So housekeeper literally stole my shoes.
