Terrible vet from the scheduling, to the services provided. Incompetence staff. This has been my vet since 2020. I am switching vets after my last visit.

I cannot express enough gratitude and admiration for the incredible veterinary care I received at Healthy Paws. Dr. Suh and her team went above and beyond to ensure the well-being of my pup, and I am forever grateful for their exceptional expertise, compassion, and dedication. From first contact, we felt reassured by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff members were friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Their commitment to providing a comfortable experience for both pets and their parents was evident.Dr. Suh went out of her way to help us when we noticed some concerning symptoms in our pup. I trusted her completely as she helped us figure out what was going on and helped us navigate some key decisions. We are very lucky that she and the team cared for our pup because now he is on the road to recovery and has some lifestyle changes to reduce similar risks in the future. If you’re searching for a Vet who is good at what she does and truly cares about your pet’s health and happiness, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Suh and the Healthy Paws team!

I've been bringing my pup here for 4 years and over the years things seem to have gone south. It started with allergy testing. Dr Suh didn't think my pup had allergies so insisted I start with a thyroid test - which came back negative, so at that point she agreed to allergy testing. It turned out my dog is allergic to most proteins except fish and duck. I spent $250 on a thyroid test I didn't need when I requested an allergy test. And in July I took my pup in for her rabies shot. I asked they administer any other vaccinations and they said she was up to date. Fast forward to this week I got an email saying she was passed due on a few vaccinations - Dapp being one. Upon calling the office I was told it was due in July - someone dropped the ball. Exposure to parvo is no joke so I called for an appointment. I was told next available was in a week and it shouldn't be a big deal since she was 2 months passed already. Note: The excuse I was given for the delayed notice was they got a new system so everyone is getting delayed notices. But I will say the last year most of my notices have been delayed so I always make it a point to ask to make sure all shots are current when I take my pup in. And if you have insurance depending on who you work with you may have to ask multiple times for a receipt. I'm just at a point where I think it's time to find a new vet. I really hope Dr Suh spends more time to train her team because it's a shame to see what's become of her practice.

We tried a few vets when we got our dog and didn't feel a great connection but have only brought him to Healthy Paws since visiting them for the first time. They are always so happy to see him and really connect with him and make him feel comfortable which comforts us. I trust their opinions and have never felt like they have tried to upsell us.

This has been our long time vet for a while now and for good reason. The staff and Dr. Janet Suh are always so kind and professional. When it comes to your fur baby you want the best and Healthy Paws always delivers. Their prices are fair and their customer service level is unmatched in SoCal. I'd highly recommend them to any of my friends and family. Thanks again Healthy Paws team!

I really really wanted to like this place. It's literally 5 mins away. But my 1st and 2nd impression says move on. Took my cat for a check up, didn't hear back from the dr. until the following week. I requested a summary of this first time check up and was told 'of course.' Didn't receive it. I also requested an estimate of a dental cleaning for my cat. Again did not hear a thing. Everyone on the phone sounded helpful. Even Dr. Suh when she eventually called me back 3 days later was quite professional. Too bad I never got that initial check up summary nor the dental cleaning estimate. Paying up front, then not getting info of the check up is rather distressing. It's not like our pets can tell us what happened.

Healthy Paws was the first vet we took our goldendoodle puppy for vaccinations in April of 2020. Due to the good reviews seen on Yelp and it being a local clinic, we decided to come here to Dr. Suh. Our first experience was fairly good, as he just had an initial exam and first round of shots. The staff was very friendly and Dr. Suh told us her exam findings over the phone as we were unable to enter due to COVID precautions. At that time, I actually wrote here on yelp a 5/5 star review. After finishing the entire 3-4 course vaccinations, we, unfortunately, had to go back to see Dr. Suh a couple months later because our puppy had an ear infection. Dr. Suh examined my dog and told us that he had a severe ear infection including a "ruptured eardrum." She recommended ear cytology, level II ear cleaning, and MBDex otic solution. All of this, including office exam and consultation charges (additional $52 for the exam), came out to $190 -- for an ear infection. His ear infection was not improving after all of this, and we went back to see her. He had his ears cleaned and was prescribed a saline solution as well as medication which came out to an additional $100. After all of this, his ears remained infected. We applied the medications and cleaned his ear as instructed, but no change. We went for a second opinion to our current vet, who reviewed everything she had ordered and re-examined our dog's ear. He said it was very unlikely that the ear drum had ruptured and said that the ear cytology was unnecessary. It seemed like she had ordered a lot of thing that could've been avoided; he said that he personally would not have done what she did. We were immediately started on a new course of ABX and his ear infection completely resolved over the next 2 weeks. As much as Healthy Paws will take care of your pet and provide good customer service, I would not recommend coming here unless you are okay with being charged for more than what's necessary. After reading all the positive reviews here, I thought I would have a good experience but it is quite disappointing to see that they just want to overcharge us and run unnecessary testing.

Honestly, expensive. But you get what you pay for. I went home knowing the exact issue and I knew the price prior to moving forward. I've experienced other places that were almost as expensive and they just shotgunned the problem with meds for this and that. it worked but we never knew why. Here we ran a bunch of expensive tests and now we know the issue and how to make it better. Couple extra hundred for peace of mind for your furry child? Everyday. Not to mention my dog isn't the easiest to work with. He's very aggressive and over a hundred pounds. -Dukes grateful dad.

We have a long hair daschund. The past two days, her right cheek was swollen. She woke up today scratching it and we saw some blood. I called Dr Suh, and she took us in this afternoon. She examined Mia, and called me to explain her findings. She was very straightforward with her findings and reassured me that Mia will be ok. She found 2 foxtails lodged inside of her right cheek. I will be bringing Mia back here from now on for her vet needs. The staff was very helpful with information too.

After receiving a wrong diagnosis from Banfield, we came here seeking a second opinion. The vet that we saw was amazing. She went the extra mile and was very honest and upfront with us. She pointed us in the direction of VCA West Coast for the level of care that our dog needed. The prices were reasonable and the amount of care given exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, our dog Zoe, ended up passing away at VCA. However, as a dog owner with two other dogs in our family, this will be our go-to vet from now on. They were knowledgeable, honest, and compassionate - which is everything I can hope for in a vet. I highly recommend them.
