My experience with this dealer specifically in the service department has been very negative. My last encounter was today was with Moe Tovar and again negative. On a previous visit I had an issue with a tire loosing air. The service rep told me that they could not find anything wrong but that they could replace the tire, if it continued to lose air they would have to replace the wheel/rim. After purchasing a new tire for $254, it continued to lose air, I took the car back and another rep checked it out and said the valve was bad and needed replacement which he did and the tire has not lost air since. The service rep with the valve replacement stated he would talk to the concierge to see what they could do, but he never called me back. When I called him and left a message he never called me back. Fast forward to today, I went in for a recall, oil and tire rotation. I explained the tire situation to Moe, he said he would check it out. When I got back to the dealer my charge was $143 and Moe said that they could waive the fee, $143 for oil change and tire rotation. As far as I am concerned they still owe me $100 for the tire I did not need.Moe refused to offer any other compensation and basically looked at me like that's it and all we can do. The customer service specifically in the service department is terrible, I heard another services rep speaking to an elderly woman trying to convince her to spend $300 on service, that was clear to me was not required, should have interrupted them but I did not.Money not customer service is the key at Ocean Subaru in Fullerton, with all honesty based on my 6 visits to this dealership since 2019, avoid this place if you value your money and consider honesty a valued trait.

I've been going to this dealer for 2 1/2 years now to do all maintenance, recalls, and any other services that my 2018 Outback requires and not once have they ever let me down. As matter of fact, the service they provide seems to get better and better with each visit i make, specifically there's one employee who always manages to far exceed my expectations on each and every single visit that I make....that employee is Jim Clarke, his the reason why I rather drive 15 miles to this dealer instead of the dealer that's down the street from my house. Jim Clarke is the reason why I have grown to be a die hard Subie fan!!! I recommended this dealer to anyone who has a Subaru and would like to keep it in tip top shape!

Over a year waiting for a windshield replacement, The service Department here is Terrible! No follow up calls ! No ETA on when will fixed! They gave me some excuse parts are back ordered??? For over a year now! They upsell you the service package just to find out you get 1/2 off discount only...nice.

Not even one star is deserved... this dealer gives Subaru a bad name... suggesting faux repairs to that were needless as confirmed by another Subaru dealer... Giving our family the run around to avoid a proven manufacturer defect... They admitted that Subaru's burn excessive oil, yet can't satisfy a customer and repair their defect.... They offer to exchange or trade in the vehicle to restart a payment debt again... and not repair the problem... Reply if you've had a similar problem...

I simply cannot say enough about Subaru and the service we have received over the years! Subaru service is unmatched in my opinion. My husband and I have traveled to all 48 lower U.S. states and have been to many Subaru service centers throughout the country and comment each and every time how incredibly we are treated when we take our car in for it’s timed services. Having said that, the person who has surpassed even those very high standards is Jim Clarke in the service department at Ocean Subaru in Fullerton. I really cannot praise Jim enough for the care and kindness he has shown us over the years! Jim is professional, very knowledgeable, prompt with responses, and incredibly easy to work with. Jim Clarke is a very valuable member of the Subaru family!!

I recently had my tires replacements and oil change done at this service department, and I couldn't be more impressed! The customer representative (Kasem Adoure) went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. He really set the bar high for everyone at this location. Kasem’s attention to detail and commitment to customer service truly set him apart. Thank you Ocean Subaru of Fullerton and give this man a raise!

Started my business by sending this dealership a call. They shot straight and were true to their word! Compared to other dealerships, they did not waste my time. Got a great deal on the car with a window tint; their prices were negotiable and reasonable. I ultimately purchased from this location and my car was even delivered to my house! I would recommend you talk to Dave Fazli and Chris Alverez. 11/10

Not only is "Awesome Jim" awesome; the espresso machine is the bomb!!!But be careful ...Jim's expert advice and insight is FREE and so is the espresso ~You might just get hooked !!!!Ask for Jim and he will take care of you !

I had an amazing car shopping experience with this Subaru dealership. Big shout-out to Matthew and Prescilla for making my experience of buying a brand new Crosstrek easy, fun, and enjoyable! Both of them were lovely individuals who treated me with respect and never made me feel pressured to purchase. I placed an order for a custom car and they kept me well informed of the timeline by sending me updates. The finance experience was great as well with Steven, as he took the time to go over everything with me and answered any questions I had.

Come here and ask for Mark Alvarado if you are looking for a vehicle!I was a previous customer at another Subaru dealer for many years. However, after being treated poorly (twice) while looking for my third Subaru, I decided to give Ocean Subaru a try.Mark had amazing communication skills and he offering me a great price right off the bat!I came in to meet with Mark on Monday at 7pm (a tough time, but the only time I was available that week). He gave me a great price, and I was out the door an hour.Mark has also provided excellent after sales service which many customers do not realize is extremely important after any sale (you never know what may happen)TL:DR Recieved poor service from a dealer I had working with since 2018. Reached out to Ocean Subaru, and Mark Alvarado did an amazing job during and after the sale.Thanks, Mark!

(Unless you enjoy a mandatory $3000 fee for the privilege of buying a car from them.)Went to Pacific Subaru the same day and bought a car with a huge smile, and I don't smile that often. For the most part, this place offered me the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 30 years on this planet. Awful experience. Avoid at all costs. I have been dealing with this dealership since January of 2020 and here we are almost 4 years later and no one has helped me fix my many, many issues. Today, I called from 12 noon until closing at 6pm telling them it was URGENT, and I was promised a call back before the end of the day. Here I am at 8PM and no one ever called me back after I said it was urgent and need to speak with someone before the end of the day. Absolutely horrific service.

Ocean Subaru of Fullerton is the absolute best. No hassle. No issues. We financed two vehicles last year (2022) -- Subaru Forester 2022 and Subaru Crosstrek 2023 -- with Frank Aparicio being the best guide to our journey. Frank has the most patience out of any car salesman that I've had the pleasure dealing with as he worked out any and all kinks with us. He spent hours waiting for us to make any decision, whivh my wife and I are thankful for. Furthermore, the finance team was excellent in providing every detail and answering all questions that we had before we had a chance to question. Very thorough, so thorough that we are having our Forester serviced and we are thinking of using the Trade-Up Advantage program. Excellent quality of care, with Ocean Subaru of Fullerton having Frank to thank.

Just bought my first new car this week! It was the second time coming to Ocean. The first experience we had, we test drove various models but left because we didn't gel with the person helping us. This time, Presilla and Matt helped us and were so informative, honest, and had the most patience with us over the day. From start to finish, it took us about 6 hours to decide, trade in our old car, sign, debate extra warranties, etc. We had our toddler with us, which made this purchase especially difficult, but we never felt like we were being pushed or rushed. We settled on the Outback, but when we brought it home, the psi on all four tires was low. It was no problem to bring it right back the next day to get everything checked out. Even that process was easy! Overall, it was a solid experience.
