I have been going to Purple Yoga for years and left many 5 star ratings because their instructors are truly top notch and the facility is well kept and enjoyable to go to. So why the 1 star review then? They're billing and their app is literally the worst I've ever seen in a business. They make mistakes on a regular basis-not sometimes as would be reasonable with any business-literally all the time.If you use the app to book a class, show up, and the front desk forgets to check you in properly, the app will automatically charge you $15 or $28 depending on the rate of the class that day. Logically, you would think it would just remove one of your classes if you pay monthly for not showing up. Nope, it charges you. Then any dispute you have with billing CANNOT be handled by the front desk. They are not given the ability to fix any accounting errors. They have to call someone off site, you have to email and call if they don't get back to you-which they usually don't for at least 2 days.My friends made the mistake of buying me a gift card for my birthday and the front desk was not even able to load it properly to my account without several phone calls and mistakes.I made the mistake of buying my friend a $120 gift card for her birthday and there was nothing on it. They credited my friend $120 then accidentally charged me another $118 by mistake. After several back and forth phone calls and emails, they told me they refunded me and they never did. I had to dispute the payment with my bank. After telling me they fixed this, I now see that the app shows that I owe $118.To make it even worse, after my automatic payment went through I attempted to sign up for a class and it showed that I had used all of them up. Again, another phone call to deal with their buggy app.The sad thing is that I'm actually not listing ALL of the issues I've had with billing because this review is already ridiculously long. It's actually comical how bad they are at accounting and how buggy their app is. I emailed that I would start putting up poor reviews from now on after every billing error. So here I am. They didn't address that. Frankly, I don't think they really care because they have a lot of loyalty due to how good their instructors are. My husband has been begging me to just quit them because they're such idiots with accounting and it requires a lot of time and effort on my part to correct their mistakes.I'm currently looking for another Yoga studio to love as much as this one because dealing with all of their accounting errors actually creates stress-which is kind of counter-productive for taking yoga. Lol.I'm hoping this poor review gets accounting and ownership to listen. I really don't want to have to find another place, but I feel kind of stupid on principal continuing to put up with this. ?

I noticed they are not listed with the better business bureau. Don't trust them! The most disturbing part of my experience is that it became clear when I spoke to the receptionist that the following is a regular practice and the owner knows many people accidentally purchase a subscription without realizing it. I purchased a class but then got a new credit card. They asked for my credit card number before one of the classes. I had attended a couple of classes and thought they seemed great, so I made the mistake of trusting this studio. Six months later, I find out they charged $420 to my credit card. I guess I had signed up for a membership online for my first class, but I did not know this. They got my credit card number because they needed to keep charging me. I did not attend a single class during my "membership" but they won't refund me a dollar. I just don't understand how someone can justify taking someone's money without providing anything to them. They offered credits towards future classes but I cannot attend classes due to a back injury. The owner didn't think this mattered since they have lots of great Lulu Lemon merchandise items I can purchase in their store. What am I going to do with $420 in Lulu Lemon outfits? The owner seems money hungry. Stay away.

Okay I just have to say that I love practicing yoga here! I started coming regularly again, and the studio has gotten even more beautiful and is always sparkling clean. Love the lovely and unique lighting they have, especially for evening classes that help me relax and let go of my day.

I never attended a single class and this studio then charged me $420!!! No matter what they say think twice before you give them your credit card. They won't refund a single dollar, they took my money with out providing me with a service. If this is how you want to make money, I think you need to take an honest look at yourself. I had a new credit card and this charge went on an old credit card and I missed the monthly charges for six months. I did not attend a single class. They have records that I did not attend a single class but they don't care. They offered class credits, but I have a back injury and can't attend yoga classes. I was so disappointed as I thought they seemed so nice.

To us- My wife and decided to take hobby together and choose yoga as our first project. It was fun while it lasted and us no longer attending is no fault of the studio but rather us wanting to try different things as a couple. I went here for 2 months and have enjoyed the experience very much.To others- The parking is horrendous due to the fact that its situated down in downtown fullerton. If you want the prime parking spot, you might want to come early to park or park behind purple yoga studio where parking is usually always available.- I haven't been to lot of yoga studio, but one thing I liked is that there is no beginner or advance class. Its all the same. you take the pose and the instructor will do variations depending on your level, which I liked quite a bit.To the owners- I am sure this is by design and you guys already thought about this from strategic point, but...I wished you had same class consistently. Like Green every 5pm-6pm, M-F. rather than having sporadically. We wanted to attend multiple times a week but Gentle flow was only available on Thursday time block that worked for us. = (- This part I am not sure, but every class we attended, we never start on time. If the studio starts at 6:00pm, the instructors are chilling outside till like 6:02 pm, then come in, adjust the lights, put the music, etc. To someone who manages time well, this bothered me to no end. In the last 2 months, we went all 8-10 times, we started late all 7-9 times. (except one)Lastly...- Even in the short time I spent here, I appreciate everyone's positive energy. Especially Mr. Roberts. (The only one who actually started the class on time.) And although everyone had good energy, he was on another level.Business is something that takes certain mind set to succeed. I wish you nothing but the best. Regards,

What a great experience! Super hot and sweaty but what a work out! It's been a while for me so the instructor was super kind and patient. The class was packed! His music was great. The studio was clean and I loved the amenities in the bathroom. Definitely recommend this location!

This was not my first time in this studio but this last time, service was horrible, unprofessional, and disrespectful. When I walked in, they didn't even welcome us and asked my phone and card information to put it on file. I did not had my wallet with me and all I had was Apple Pay. She said I cannot take the class without the card information on file and rejected me.First of all, I checked their website, classpass reservation policy, and even emails that they sent me before the reservation BUT not even a single place mention or state this credit card information policy where you cannot take the class without it. It would be convenient for studio to write that policy on their website or send an email in advance to clients so we are aware of this informations. Or having that written down and put it on the studio for clients know. Then I would've brought my card in advance. BECAUSE it’s ridiculous that they reject their valued clients just because they don’t have their credit card information at that time of moment.Second, I told her that since I booked the class through classpass, my information is saved there and asked if I can take the class and give them a call after when I get home. She said that I cannot take the class without the card info. The reason they needed to have credit card info was to charge a client for late arrival or no show. I even explained to her nicely that since all that information is saved on classpass, if I show late or cancel, they will charge me and the studio will get notified. Usually that's how the third party works. It's not their first time having a client using a classpass. They did mention that this will be their last month to taking clients through classpass. Obviously, they knew how the classpass works and knows that if I am late then classpass will charge me directly and I do not need to provide my information to them if I wanted to.Lastly, I was not even late for the class. I was actually 10 mins early and I understand that credit card policy is to prevent for the future reference. They could've work this out better than this. Since it was not informed and not stated in anywhere, I felt like they were discriminating us. There was no further explaination about rejecting clients just because of credit card info. They didn't even apologize and felt sorry for us. All she said was that this is their policy so we cannot take the class without the credit card information which was a nonsense to me. Was I late? Did you had this info on their website, classpass policy, or email?? Why didn’t you asked me this last time? This was unplesant experience and very unprofessional way for them to inform their clients this way. After I decided to just move on and leave the studio, she said "that's what everyone should carry their credit card around."That was unnecessary comment that she made and I felt so disrespectful.

Staff and mates have all been kind and respectful. Studio is clean and spacious. Green 60 with Amanda is the best. The session is perfect for the hot yoga I feel most comfortable and Amanda is a wonderful instructor. she provides modifications, core work out, balance strengthening , long stretches and overall a satisfying session each and every time. I'm sadden to receive the news that Purple Yoga is no longer offered with ClassPass, I will try my best to continue to attend Amanda's classes. She alone is worth the drive and membership. Be understanding that her Tuesday Green 60 could get potentially pack, she's that good - please be mindful and share the beautiful space with other mates.

I love this place. Instructors help you get your form right and it's hot yoga!! Blue yoga is normal stretching yoga but red or green yoga is spicy! They use to do class pass but now they aren't. Sad! I cannot classpass and pay for all the places I love. Classes at 12pm and 3pm are like $15 so worth going if you are one of those folks who have a flex schedule.

For seasoned yogis, purple yoga is a beautiful space to practice your asanas. However, these classes are absolutely contemporary, you will hardly find an opportunity for inversions or any sutra connection minus postures. Some teachers will allow you 10 mins in the space after class to meditate or go upside down before they wipe the floors down. The heat is the challenge here. It will bring endurance and is slightly addicting- you may have a hard time going back to a more traditional class. The facility is always sparkling clean and the personnel is knowledgeable. Fun, friendly teachers bring a variety of playlists to flow to. For new yogis, bring your mat and any props you need. Bring a basic knowledge of asanas before you attempt any of the red classes. Lauren, Joe, Gina and Jennifer W. are wonderful for hands on corrections. Don't forget a hand towel, water and your mat. Please leave your shoes in the cubbies and don't step on any mats that are not your own. Get out of your head and into your body at this beautiful studio. I love all of the 9am classes as well as Sunday's Green class to help detox your weekend!

Chihiro was great! Unfortunately it looks like she's going to leave soon and not sure if she'll come back. I've been to a lot of yoga classes and it's hard to find instructors that can really balance breath work and poses. The Blue 60 class was slightly challenging but still focused on breath and I was a bit sore after. The studio was clean and pretty and staff was really kind. I also completely forgot my mat, and they were nice enough to lend me one free of charge. They also have showers which I haven't seen at other yoga studios. The only downsides in my opinion were that it was a bit warm in the room, and there's not much ventilation. I know sometimes studios intentionally do that, but I didn't see any heat advisory in the description. It was also the smallest room I've ever done a class in and it was absolutely full, so if you need a lot of space to spread out, be aware of that. I'm not new to the area and I've never had trouble parking around there before, but for some reason, that specific corner had absolutely no parking- including the two paid parking lots next to the studio. There was nothing, so I ended up parking about a mile away. So just definitely give yourself at least 15mins for parking alone. There is no dedicated lot for the studio. Also, after the class, I was talking to the lady doing reception and there was an incredibly oblivious group of clients having the loudest conversation while standing at the front desk for some reason. I had to ask the receptionist to repeat herself multiple times and the group just continued yelling and laughing. In other studios, I've seen quiet signs, and I think that would be a good idea here. Lastly, just be aware that even if you have classpass, the studio wants a credit card on file, as well as a photo of each client for their records.

I found this gem on a new member unlimited month deal. Whoa~! I am thrilled with the classes I have taken so far. There is a huge amount of classes offered each week which makes it easy for this busy momma to be able to get to a class. I like the online scheduler and ability to reserve a class. The studio is modern in decor and spotless in cleanliness. Each staff member I have met has been warm and welcoming. The instructors take time to really teach. And oh the sweat--- I have been doing yoga for a few years pretty regularly, but the RED class---a game changer. I can't wait to go back. Thanks Purple! Keep up the good work--- this yogi is one happy girl to have found you!
