I've been coming here since 2019 to see Jenny Lu. She's amazing. Jenny helped my fiancé find my engagement ring, a few years later she helped us with our bands and I stop by once a year for my annual inspection and ring cleaning. I have a ring cleaner machine at home but never can I get it as clean as they do here. I had did major damage to my ring once bent it and Jenny and her team managed to fix it in under an hour.

I am writing this review in regard to Robbins Bros "Peace of mind promise" and their "Diamond Guarantee". I have recently discovered that this guarantee/promise has flaws and is geared to benefit Robbins Bros, not their customers. I purchased my wife's engagement ring back in Nov, 2003. We had the ring cleaned/resized on Oct. 2nd, 2022 due to the ring no longer fitting my wife's finger after 4 kids.. In August 2023, the diamond fell out of its prongs/setting and was lost. This was roughly 11 months after having it cleaned, inspected, and resized. (Note here- we had the ring for over 18 years before getting it resized, and had it inspected/cleaned numerous times during this 18years w/out any issues. Unfortunately, we were not able to go to Robbins Bros until Dec. 28th, 2023, to report the diamond falling out. I called prior to responding to the location and spoke with Floor Manager Shirin Aliabadi. She advised to come into the location so we could discuss the situation. Once there, we spoke to Aliabadi who advised we didn't have a signed inspection record to verify the diamond had been checked within the last year. We later located the inspection record showing the ring had been inspected, cleaned, and resized on Oct 2, 2022. Aliabadi at first advised that they would honor the warranty and would look for a similar diamond, by telephone. My wife had picked out a lab grown diamond that she liked during our 1st visit, which cost more than our original diamond. I asked if we could work out something for this diamond. Aliabadi called back and advised it was now 14 1/2 months since the last inspection, the "Diamond Guarantee" would not be honored. I had a long conversation with Aliabadi about the diamond falling out and how the ring couldn't have been inspected properly in Oct 2022. Also, during this conversation, Aliabadi continuously stated the the diamond guarantee was a free benefit that comes with purchasing jewelry at Robbins Bros. I completely disagree with this statement. Robbins Bros jewelry is more expensive than most jewelry stores. The reason for this and the reason customers pay the higher price is for their guarantee/promise. To deny that you don't pay for this guarantee is an insult to their customers intelligence. After our discussion, the best she said the company could do was cover 40% of the new lab grown diamond, making my total cost with the replacement prongs over $4000. This resolution is unacceptable to us for these reasons- 1. The ring was fine for 18 years, was resized, cleaned, and inspected on Oct 2, 2022, 11 months later, the diamond fell out. 2. The prongs on the ring were damaged and worn down during our Oct 2, 2022 visit, but Robbins Bros choose not to replace the prongs, instead sending us out with a flawed ring. This was negligence on the part of Robbins Bros., nobody advised us the prongs were flawed and should be replaced during this visit. We kept these prongs as evidence of the wear/tear. 3. The diamond fell out within the year period, but because we were unable to get down to the store before Dec 2023, Robbins Bros. chose not uphold the warranty or their promise. 4. We had her ring cleaned and inspected approx. 15 times since 2003, and not once did anybody ask us for our "cleaning record" to be signed and dated. The only reason we had the signed record from Oct. 2022 was because the associate who helped us gave us a new booklet with a signature. We were advised employees aren't required to ask for the booklet when jewelry is inspected. 5. In the age of paperless technology, Robbins Bros still has its customers bring in a paper record to be signed/dated instead of logging it in their computer system. Their excuse-clients have multiple pieces so it would be confusing to mark which piece was brought in to be inspected? This doesn't make any sense. The only reason they do this is to benefit the company. There's a high probability of customers losing this booklet with these records, which allows Robbins Bros. To den

DO NOT BUY THESE DIAMONDS!!!! Its OVER PRICED for SHITTY CUTS!! my husband bought me my ring from here and we paid premium pricing and were told by another trusted jeweler that its a terrible cut and not worth anything!!!! I am beyond upset. My husband spent his hard working money on a ring that is worth nothing now. Plus the woman working with a short pixie cut and brown hair is a royal B**** with major attitude. She rolled her eyes when talking to us and was extremely snappy when we asked questions. We paid 10k for my ring and when i was trying to upgrade and sell at another jeweler they told me the cut was so bad that he really wouldnt even want it but hed give me 2k for it. He said the cut was that bad. And showed me why it wasnt good. My family uses this other jeweler all the time but my poor husband didnt know better and went to robins brothers thinking hed get something nice and trusted them. You pay premium pricing for garbage. They sell you on it, make you believe its top tier "hand selected" diamonds but in reality its hand selected diamonds that cost them nothing and they charge 10x for it and were the idiots who buy it. Do your research first!! EDIT: i went to another jewelry place (CIRCA) and they offered me $500 for my ring! If this doesnt say RUN, i dont know what else does. The appraiser told me my ring didnt hold alot of value. Robins brothers are liars.

So some time ago we went to take a look at what they had while visiting California. I heard nothing but good about RB. My sister got her ring from there, (she is straight and went to a diff location and saw a guy I wish I could remember his name) We been shopping around for that one special ring for my fiancé. The chubby lady in the front with a lot of makeup was so rude. She came off as not caring about us at all. She didn't even get up from her chair to even try to help us. So rude and lazy, self absorbed. On her phone the entire time. Then a older lady with a really bad attitude and short boy hair came over to us finally. She walked away from us abruptly and I saw them whispering which was weird and maid us very uncomfortable. She came off as just wanting my money honestly. The questions she was asking and the tone was so pushy. I don't know if it was because we are a same sex couple and she didn't like us or what. She did look awkward when she realized we were together which set the tone for the shopping experience. I guess there was a nice gentlemen that helped us for a moment right before we finally gave up. He was more like the experience I hoped for, but that was only for a sec. And It was a bad experience all around honestly. Only good thing was the drinks in the lobby. Don't go here if your a same sex couple or are just looking. They will make you mad uncomfortable in a lot of ways sadly. Just after your money and get mad at you if you just wanna look and try stuff on. Like jeez it's a choice of a lifetime. Do better Robbins, I expected so much more. Get better nicer people

I'm a serious yelper. I went to look for a diamond. I spent $4,5000 and the diamond was cloudy and subpar.I thought bc of all the good reviews that there was nothing better out there. I was SO wrong! Young and d***** I found a place where I've had my diamond for 6 years and still looks new. I tried to sell my old diamond not that king after. Received $1,500 for it. Wore it 10 times max. I wonder if these reviews are real? From a serious yelper. May you be bless w/ a beautiful ring on your special day!

I had been planning on buying my mom a diamond ring for quite some time. I wanted to take her in to choose exactly what she wanted (within my budget). She lives out of state so it had been difficult to figure out how and when I could do this as a surprise. Regardless if it was her state or mine, I knew it would be Robbins Brothers after my husband told me about his experience when shopping for my ring. The opportunity finally presented it's self and I was able to take her in to the Torrance store where Matt greeted us at the entrance. I told him exactly what I was there for, what I wanted, my budget (should've written it down, he's more visual than an a listener) and to let my mom get what she wanted. She said what she wanted and Matt shows us some rings (in the budget he heard) that my mom was ok with but they were just not what I was looking for after looking at them under the microscope. As I'm getting ready to pay for the ring my mom was ok with, he realizes his mistake and quickly goes and brings out exactly what I asked for. He help us build her a ring with both our wants and needs in mind. I explained she was only here for my daughters graduation and he was able to get her in her new ring with engraving in her size the very next day. As I'm presenting the ring to my mom and we're completely engulfed in the moment he is in the background capturing all of it in pictures that he later shares with me. Thank you Matt for all your help. Thank you for the pictures. Thank you for helping me fulfill my goal, she could not stop admiring her ring (especially in the sun light) the whole drive back home.

I can not stop recommending this store for jewelry purchases and service. This last week I managed to go full Hulk and bent my engagement ring, it’s a white gold Henri Daussi ring. I bent it and lost a side diamond (see pic) honestly thought I was going to have to buy a new ring. Note I’m very rough and heavy handed, I wear my ring every day while I do things like lift boxes. I was in full tears when I told my fiancé. Immediately after crying to him I contacted my sales rep who sold my fiancé the ring and she had me bring it in. Jenny, an absolute doll, looked at it with the jeweler and reassured me that my ring could be fixed. I was so relieved. I left the ring at the store and within an hour they called me and told me it was ready for pick up. I was so happy. I honestly was ready to leave it with them and come back in a week or two, never did I think they were able to fix it so quick. When I came back the ring was perfect, cleaned and was like new. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks Jenny and the awesome jeweler who fixed my ring.

This 5 star is review is so solely to INCREDIBLE customer service by Mariah. To say that Mariah went out of her way to help me would be a massive understatement. Because I wanted this gift to be a surprise she went out of her way to show me samples over text and phone calls and was able to provide timely answers to my (many, many, many) questions. Thank you Mariah, I can't wait to see the finished product.
