My son keeps getting hurt everyday at topaz early head start school and they don’t give me reports no cameras in the rooms he bumped his head on the sink he got a big bump I should’ve taken pictures I only have voicemails he got scrapes and bit I should’ve taken pictures but I didn’t. He’s not returning. But it really sucks. I hope no other kids get hurt there because they are neglecting the toddlers. There is a handful of “new” teachers in the toddler class and on my sons first day of transferring from the baby classroom there was another baby who moved up with him and as I stood for a bit so that my son can feel comfortable in his new classroom I saw her hit her head on the paper towel machine next to the sink and there was a teacher standing right next to her and another teacher next to me and I made a comment “oh em gee! Oh em gee.. she hit her head!” And they didn’t do anything 😢 that same day my son got a huge bump on his head from the sink.I kept him home because it was a big bump. When he went back he got bit. I also mentioned the whole scenario to the director The following day he got a scrape on his arm that was still fresh when I picked him up I noticed it when we were already outside in the sun getting in our ride. then he got bit again! The next day. I didn’t get any accident reports from them just maybe 2 phone calls when he hit his head and when he got bit the last day. The teachers seemed to be very neglectful towards the baby’s who just moved up. And when he was smaller in the infant and baby rooms there was a teacher that seemed to look at me with a snare look every time I went to pick my son up and when I would drop him off she was always trying to get him and have his attention even when he moved up right across with the bigger babies. I loved how they loved on my baby but it was just that girl made me feel like I was doing something wrong as a parent or like she wanted to take my place because my son is very lovable and amazing. Thank you to those teachers that really genuinely helped me. And didn’t look down on me and cared for my son. But I really hope they can improve with the teachers that they have in the toddler room to be more attentive and aware helping the kids play correctly also they were very unorganized letting the kids do whatever they wanted. the baby rooms was more structured and organized and caring. I hope and will pray that they improve so that they can help those that need the help with their kids and please higher more teachers that actually genuinely care.
