No I do not recommend them whatsoeve. Their prices are outrageous their test is unbelievable the lady doctor that used to be there were outstanding and reasonable. Now it's all about the money. $95 just for a visit this is so unreal just for a simple fecal test $165. Veterinarians like them will keep people away and their pets will not get proper services for this kind of outrageous price The standard fecal test is anywhere from $35 to $65 and you're forced to make an appointment first with the doctor just to get a simple poop tested. No I don't recommend them. Shop around first and get a price before you go there. Standard visit with a good Veterinarian is anywhere from $45 to $70 for a visit to the vet to see the Veterinarian. I could imagine what they would charged you just for a minor services and medicine.

Disclaimer: We used to come here many years ago before VCA bought them, so given that, this is just a "heads up" more than a review. At the time we were bringing our dogs here, the staff were (generally) super friendly towards our dogs, so we had no specific issues with them. What turned us off about Tri-City was the RELENTLESS upselling they'd do for virtually every service. And the ridiculously high prices. Once we just needed an overnight boarding for our two pups and they offered a post-boarding bath . . . for $75 each!!!!!! OMG! That's just one extreme example, but other services were equally overpriced and they would relentlessly push additional services as well. So just something you should be aware of. Recommend you compare prices and don't hesitate to say "No" to the add ons. Seems to be a thing in the veterinary trade anymore. Another issue that we encountered was the facility was not staffed over night. Our dog needed emergency surgery and to be monitored afterwards. They happily gave us an outrageous estimate for the surgery but informed us they'd have to transfer her to a nearby 24-hour emergency pet clinic afterwards for the night.I'm like "How are you going to transport our 130+ lb dog, post-surgery, with tubes hanging out of her body to some other place?" Answer: In the back seat of one of their cars. Nope. We went elsewhere, got an estimate literally over $1,000 less; they saved our dog after a very long multiple hours surgery; monitored and cared for her overnight; and we even got money back from our deposit. When things don't feel right - even in a crisis situation- trust your instincts and move on. Now maybe since VCA bought Tri-City they've improved. But based on other current reviews I'm seeing these same issues. If this institution spent the amount of energy they do responding to Yelp reviews on improving their services, they'd be world class. But it seems like there's some disfunction there. Just a heads-up.

My cat saw Dr. Chu. I honestly feel like I paid someone to test me on my cat’s records (hello, I am not a vet!), make me feel stupid, and prove me wrong. She was condescending and obviously did not care about my little guy. I left the appointment feeling very outwardly confused and frustrated but she still did not seem to care about addressing the concerns that I had. She met my frustration with snarky remarks instead. I still have very vague resolutions to my concerns and was left with even more questions than answers. Dr. Chu was not even bothered with professionalism. I may be young but I am not dumb and that is how I felt as soon as she stepped into the room.I will be taking him somewhere else to get the care that he deserves. I can’t speak to the other vets here but she was enough for me to know that we will not be coming back to this clinic.

We've taken multiple cats to VCA Tri-City and they always do a great job with them!

RUN!!! If I could put zero stars I would. My dog was sick and we had brought her in and they told us for her treatments it would be 2-3k and said she was suffering so much pain and would be better to put her down. Instead we took her to a different place and she recovered, through this we would still get calls, voicemails, mail, all saying to come back because our dog is overdue and is ready to be put down while at this point she was about to make a full recovery. So if you care for your animals stay away from this place.

I am glad that I chose to to come here to put my poor kitty to rest. The staff was kind and welcoming the moment I stepped in. I will always have my last memories of my cat as calm and loving. I know when and if I choose to bring another pet into my life, I will come here for pet health care. Thank you!!

My precious Yorkie had a head trauma injury. He's 3.5 lbs and a box fell on his head. I rushed to VCA without notice or appointment and they were able to take him in immediately. He was stabilized and I was seen my Dr. Chu, she was so amazing as well as Don. They answered my million questions and Dr. Chu followed up everyday until I told her my Baby was doing better day by day. I loved how they really care. It made me feel at ease and was a big relief with the treatment he was given.

Run! The veterinarian said my pet should be tested for leukemia. They wanted 1,500 or something along that line for all kinds of tests. I had a bad feeling about the veterinarian. She was cold as ice and it seemed like she didn't like animals. I went with my gut feeling and went to another vet. The new veterinarian (not from Tri City) believed the shaking and tremors came from parasites. I treated my pet for parasites for 45 for the treatment and 45 for the exam, and sure enough, my pet was all better. It's been six months since my pet was treated and my pet is still going strong! I could have lost my pet and lots of money. Always listen to your intuition. If you sense the veterinarian doesn't care, It's worth paying for another exam to make sure your beloved pet is in good hands.

I love this hospital! I called last minute for a consultation and within an hour they gave me an appointment! The receptionist was so nice and helped me as quick as possible! Even though my dog was not fully registered with them they helped me set that up quick and bring in my dogs vaccine record to finish it up in person. It was so quick and easy, they inform so well! Once I arrived I was taken in right away and my pitbull was checked and taken care of. They provided me a lot of information that can help me become a better dog mom and how I can help my dog with sensitive skin on his paws! They did not try to over charge me or add extra exams, they were straight forward with me on what is best! Thank you!

Not a big fan of this place from my first visit. I took my newly adopted cat here because I received a free wellness check voucher from the shelter. The exam itself felt very rushed and the doctor didn't seem too interested in taking the time to educate me as a new cat owner with some of my questions. The most frustrating part is that they were going to give me a free dosage of the Revolution Plus topical medicine for fleas/internal parasites. However, when I asked the vet techs on how to use it (since I'm a new owner), they decided to apply it on my cat WITHOUT looking carefully at my cat's medical history, which showed that she already had a dosage from the shelter 2 weeks prior! I wasn't educated at all that the dosages should only be a month apart until I researched it later at home. This caused me to panic about possible overdosing, and I had to talk to an emergency vet hospital at 3am in the morning. Luckily my cat is okay. I'll be taking my cat elsewhere from now on, with people who take more time to look at the details and educate me as a new owner. The only positive aspect about VCA is that because they are a big chain hospital, they have a nice phone app with some general information and reminders.

I thought I was going to drop by the office today ( last detail before my vacation) to pick up flea meds like I did last year. WRONG, new policy, with no advance notice. They would not sell the meds without seeing each of my dogs. Ordinarily this would be fine with me, but I don't have the time to get them in there as I have doctor & dentist visits scheduled for me next week. Terribly inconvenient. They are not penalizing me, just my dogs, sadly.
