“Fantastic art gallery and collection of artist studios, along with vintage furniture and art for sale. I used to live in the area and appreciated being able to read the articles about the sale and conversion of the site from the old chicken processing plant to the new art studios. I also saw many art pieces for sale that made me imagine myself in the future, with more disposable income, and buying art to display in my home. I was particularly impressed by some of the paintings, and it was really fun to look at the old cars.”

“The most positive & inspirational art that I've seen in a long time. Jendala makes affirmation chimes from recycled metal and uses recycled beads & bells (from India & Indonesia). She also has garden stakes, magnets, dog tags, picture frames, jewelry holders & more....all from recycled metal. So many beautiful colors and messages.... PERFECT gifts. I love coming here to the studio where I can pick and choose words and make my own chime! She's really talented and good positive soul! So glad to have met her :) Thanks Jendala ~ you ROCK”

“Far and above the best framing store around. They do a beautiful job at a reasonable cost and everyone who works there is kind and helpful. You can even take in your own frame and they will cut the mat and assemble the whole thing for a very small charge.”

“My family of 5 took a three hours class in July of 2023. It was awesome. First the studio is so well organized and well equipped. Michael started by giving a short explanation, and we started working with glass in no time. We are very pleased with the mushrooms and stirring sticks that we created. It was engaging and creative. Michael is a great teacher!”

“Beautiful collection of pieces in this very nice shop. I have enjoyed all the items I have purchased here in the past - glass bowls, wooden sculptures, and even a few furniture pieces. People who work there are also very accommodating and helpful. I have been looking at some lamps here and, although they are pricey, I think they would be great to have in my house.”

“Absolutely amazing experience perusing through the art here. We met Daniel and you can just tell how passionate and excited he is about his gallery. We really wanted to meet his wife too who sounded like an incredible lady but she was not available. We ended up signing up for their emails where Daniel shares interesting facts about a favorite art piece a day. The gallery has a very extensive collection and we were able to take a look around comfortably. Whether you’re an art novice or an expert, you’ll definitely enjoy this experience!”

“I kind of couldn't believe the range of items in this store that I hadn't seen before. I could've spent $10,000 or $20 (I spent $115), and would get something totally cool and uncommon that had obviously been carefully curated into the inventory. A really impressive but focused collection of stuff that, for the most part, isn't sold elsewhere, lots of it hand-made and with direct connections to the artist or craftsperson who produced it. I thought there was a great blend of design, style, humor, and taste on display--fun, but without crossing into kooky novelty. So nice to see a store like this in an upscale wine-and-gallery town like Healdsburg. Extra star because the proprietors are cool and have super cute dogs.”

“An odd but wonderful collection of disparate artworks. One room features old and traditional works. One room showcases au currant art.....right now exhibiting Penny Wolin's powerful photos of the Sonoma County fires. The main gallery is an eclectic collection of ethnic AND also local-ish art or artists, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, textiles. This room is really all over the place. It's what makes the gallery so much fun. A treasure hunt. Owner Dennis Calabi is himself a treasure. A genuine expert in museum quality restorations of a wide variety of art....and knowledgeable...and dogged...in his efforts. Visit. Learn. Buy. Go back & do it again. There's always something new and exciting here.”

“Good multi-use performance space. All sight lines are good, the area is high and open, but smaller - seats approx 100 max. Acoustics (natural and amplified) were distortion and echo free. Staff is helpful, professional, and friendly.”

“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Our son is an amateur photographer who hopes to turn professional. Christian did an amazing job of guiding him the process of his first professional framing experience. Not only did Christian really listen to and respect our son's vision, but was able to introduce him to options that he might not have considered while elegantly bridging our son's ideas with the aesthetics of our home where these pieces will be hung. Throughout the process, Christian did an amazing job of educating our son every step of the process from the selection of the frames to the selection of the mat colors & textures and the types of glass he might consider. We cannot wait to see the finished pieces and are excited to hang them in pride of place in our home. We've already initiated another large framing project with Christian.”

“Beautiful and unique pieces! I have the Shiloh bag in black - it has held up very well over time. I get lots of compliments on the look and construction of the bag - it is cut from one piece of leather and held together by the leather strap. I love it so much I have another one in a cognac color!”

“This small shop has some beautiful jewelry. I bought 2 rings there. I have never seen a orange garnet. It is my birth stone and I love the unusual color. The shop has many unusually gorgeous pieces. The prices are reasonable.”

“My favorite place to stop in Healdsburg. Beautiful gallery featuring Northern California artists. There is something for everyone here; from abstracts to landscapes, to sculptures of every shape and size. They cater to seasoned collectors and first-time art buyers. Beautify your space with original art or at least check them out if you are in town. Women-owned independent business.”

“One of the biggest, best, and most comprehensive galleries in Northern California. They show world-class artists at openings and have a large assortment of art from past shows available. This gallery knows how to be a first-class gallery, beyond the ordinary. A+ and worth a visit.”

“They have some amazing artist in this latest show. Of course I'm a little biased because I entered my work and got best of show. It's a small gallery but there is a lot there. It sits on the main street in the little town of Graton.”

“If you're interested in what Wine Country artists are producing this is worth a stop. You'll find a wide range of talent. We love the fact that local artists who aren't big names have a spot where their work is displayed. Drop by if you get the chance!”

“May 13, 2023, I was part of a two person exhibition at Hammerfriar titled Embody: Connections to the Subconscious. Gallery owners, Charly and Glenn Ley went above and beyond in creating a reception for the public to experience not only the artwork but an environment which engaged all five senses. Yes they do framing too. But one is free to walk in just to see the art. It is a gallery that happens to frame art. Make it a destination!”

“This gallery/jewelry store has one of the most extensive curated jewelry collections I have ever seen. Absolutely gorgeous. Most, if not all of the pieces are one of a kind and are curated by the owner herself. If you are looking for something unique and special to remember Healdsburg, this should be the first stop. The art gallery component of Lulo is just as remarkable. On the day I visited, the artist who's work is on display, was going to come to meet the public. I would definitely come back when in Healdsburg.”
